We witness now the changing techno-economic paradigm and the emerging learning economy. Reflecting on these changes, the group of Evolutionary Economists study recently the theory on regional innovation system, but their research results are still now not theoretically ‘systemized’. Moreover, they often indeed speak of the ‘social capital’, but do not investigate that. This paper tries to systemize their empirical findings and theoretical results and integrate the discussions on social capital in fields of sociology into a mathematical model. This study emphasizes the role of social capital in the innovating process.

This study wants to test the nexus among resource orientation, market orientation, social network, and knowledge sharing toward organizational innovation, and the nexus between organizational innovation and MSMEs performance. Questionnaires and interviews are conducted with some MSMEs actors in Central Java Province, Indonesia, in Klaten Regency and Pekalongan City. These two areas have creative MSMEs, especially Batik MSMEs that have been very large and known worldwide. The sampling technique is done purposively with certain criteria for the respondents. The data analysis technique is done using Partial Least Square. This study provides recommendations about strategic practice and policy (resource and market), social network, and knowledge sharing in increasing organizational innovation, and the impact of organizational innovation toward MSMEs performance. It also offers a comprehensive model of the determinant factor of organizational innovation by considering the aspect of strategic orientation, social network, and knowledge sharing. Other unique aspects that are also important to consider are social network and the importance of knowledge sharing in improving MSMEs Performance. The respondents are still limited in two areas, namely, Pekalongan and Klaten, so it still cannot represent the whole population. These areas also have different orientation of production process approach, namely, synthetic and natural dyes.

환경과 안전에 대한 관심이 증가함에 따라 사회적 규제 및 이의 혁신에 대한 영향성에 대한 관심 또한 증대되고 있다. 포터가설을 중심으로 한 기존의 사회적 규제 관련 문헌들은 주로 혁신으로 인한 비용, 기대이익, R&D 투자 등 내적 요소에 초점을 두어 왔다. 최근에는 환경규제 등 사회적 규제로 인한 산업구조의 변화에 관심을 두는 연구가 증가하고 있는 상황이나, 사회적 규제에 따른 외부환경의 변화와 그로 인한 혁신에 대한 영향에 대해서는 연구가 많이 이루어지지 못한 상황이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기존 문헌이 제시하는 바와 같이 준수 기대이익 등 내적 요인은 물론, 산업구조 변화와 같은 변화를 통해 사회적 규제가 혁신에 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 보여주고자 하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 국내 철강 구조물용 내화 피복재 산업의 사례연구를 실시하였다. 연구 결과 내화 피복재 산업은 1990년대 3번에 걸친 규제완화를 경험하였으며, 이들 규제 완화들이 시장 기회 및 기대이익을 제공함으로써 신규 시장진입을 유도하였고, 시장구조 변화와 경쟁 심화에 따라 기업들의 혁신이 발생하였음을 확인할 수 있었다.

This paper reviewed the relationship between social capital(interaction, trust, shared vision) and innovation(product innovation, process innovation), and the moderating effect of CEO's entrepreneurship in small businesses of Convergence Federation. Based on the responses from 252 responses, the results of multiple regression analysis showed that interaction and shared vision effect positively on product innovation and process innovation, but trust effects positively only on process innovation. The results of moderating analysis showed that entrepreneurship effects positively on the relationship between trust and product innovation, and the relationship between shared vision and process innovation.

본 연구는 대학생들을 대상으로 소셜TV 혁신저항 결정요인과 이용의도의 관계를 살펴보았다. 주요 결과를 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 소셜TV 이용에 대한 적합성과 시험가능성, 관찰가능성은 혁신저항에 통계적으로 유의한 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타난 반면에 복잡성은 혁신저항에 통계적으로 유의한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 소셜TV 이용에 대한 적합성, 복잡성, 시험가능성, 관찰가능성 중 관찰가능성만이 이용의도에 통계적으로 유의한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 소셜TV에 대한 혁신저항은 이용의도에 통계적으로 유의한 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The social capital of an organization is recognized as the origin of the knowledge capital creation, and it becomes the mechanisms which explain the interaction of members or which accelerate the behavior of the members to attain the goal of an organization (Park, 2001; Jang et al., 2011). Lots of researches show that this causal relationship empirically exists. Social capital and knowledge capital of an organization are one of the most important competitive advantages that a company needs. They are also the main dynamic drivers of the innovation activity. This study analyzes the relationship and examines the impact and role of an organization's social capital on intellectual capital and innovation activities in an organization. In other words, the main purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of social capital on the intellectual capital and innovation activities of, in particular, China local companies. This study empirically analyzed the survey data collected from the employees of the companies located in China. Our empirical results of this study showed that social capital has significantly causal effects on intellectual capital partially and also showed the intellectual capital has significantly positive effects on the innovation activities partially.

본 연구는 지역발전정책의 새로운 기조로 등장하는 사회적 혁신의 개념과 단계별 발달과정을 이해하고 사회적 혁신을 위한 공공부문의 역할을 규정하였다. 지역정책을 위한 개발사업의 집행자로서 도시 개발공사가 공간정책에서 다루어져야 하는 문제는 오늘날 빈곤, 삶의 질, 행복 등 사회적 영역으로 확대되면서 사회적 혁신으로 나아가야 하는 필요성이 더욱 높아지고 있다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 연구는 사회적 혁신에 있어 공공부문의 역할 평가를 위한 기본 틀을 구축하고, 우리나라 도시 개발공사를 대상으로 사회적 혁신에 있어 위상과 한계를 평가하였다. 그 결과 대부분의 공사는 주택 및 택지개발사업의 공공성 증진을 위한 다양한 노력을 전개하고 있고, 지역사회에 대한 공헌도 활발하지만 궁극적으로 사회적 혁신으로 나아가기 위한 역량 구축과 아이디어를 실천하는 시도는 미흡한 것으로 나타났다. 지역 및 공간정책에 있어 사회적 혁신에 대한 수요 증대는 향후 도시 개발공사와 함께 관련 지역개발의 공공부문 주체들에게 커다란 과제를 제기하고 있으며, 이에 대한 연구와 정책적 대응이 적극적으로 모색되어야 하는 시점이다.

본 연구에서는 사회적 도전과제 해결을 임무로 설정하여 이론과 정책을 개발하고 있는 임무지향적 혁신정책론의 관점에서 사회문제 해결형 연구개발정책을 점검하고 그 시사점을 살펴본다. 이를 위해 시민사회의 참여, 정부의 동태적 능력의 확보, 선도적 투자와 후속 투자의 유도의 측면에서 '제2차 과학기술기반 사회문제 해결 종합계획'을 분석했다. 이 계획은 사회문제 해결형 혁신을 위한 시민참여의 제도화, 정부의 조정·통합능력 강화와 새로운 생태계 형성을 위한 제도들을 도입하고 있다. 그러나 기존 활동의 경로의존성이 있기 때문에 이를 넘어서기 위한 구체적인 프로그램이 요구되는 상황이다. 또 선도적인 투자를 이끌어내기 위해서는 커뮤니티 케어, 기후변화 대응과 같은 사회정책 분야의 전략 사업과 혁신정책을 통합적으로 전개하는 것이 필요하다.

본 연구는 사회복지조직의 혁신적 측정을 위한 조직혁신성 척도 개발을 목적으로 하였다. 척도개발을 위해 먼저 문헌분석과 전문가 조사로 조직혁신성 측정을 위한 37개의 예비문항을 도출하였다. 다음으로 이들 예비 문항에 대한 사회복지현장실무자 178명 대상의 1차 설문조사자료로 실행한 탐색적 요인분석에서는 7요인(리더십 혁신, 팀워크 혁신, 업무 혁신, 프로그램개발 혁신, 환경관리 혁신, 프로그램기술 혁신, 아이디어 혁신), 31문항을 추출하였다. 이들 7요인 구조의 적절성은 2차로 실시한 사회복지현장실무자 409명 대상의 설문조사자료에 대한 확인적 요인분석을 통해 검증되었다. 또 조직혁신성 척도의 7개 하위 요인 모두는 조직혁신문화 변인과의 상관관계분석에서 정(+)의 유의한 관계로 나타나 조직혁신성 척도의 준거타당성이 확인되어 추후 연구에서 사회복지조직의 혁신적 측정에 유용한 도구로 활용되어질 수 있음을 보여주었다.

전통적 혁신 이론에서 과학과 기술은 공공재와 지식으로 다루어지며, 이러한 관점은 선형모델과 기술 결정론을 자연스럽게 도출시킨다. 그러나 과학과 기술을 새롭게 규정하는 신혁신 이론에서는 기술의 사회적 형성을 강조하며, 선형 모델에서 탈피하여 혁신과정의 상호작용, 네트워크, 시스템 측면을 포섭하고 있다.
