제 7차 교육과정 10학년 과학 교과에 포함된 환경단원의 탐구요소 분석 (An Analysis on Inquiry Elements of Environmental Units in the 10th Grade Science Textbooks, the 7th Curriculum)

  • This study aims to consider interrelations and reasonability to inquiry elements of environment units in 10th Science textbooks of 7th curriculum on the basis of their inquiry contexts, processes and activities. Frequency of inquiry contexts is 59.9% of the highest value in natural environment context but is 4.0% of the lowest one in techno-industrial context. Measurements, inferences, predictions, experiments, data-interpretations, correlations, conclusionreveals in inquiries are in all the textbooks, but observations and classifications, hypothesis generations, controlling variables, experimental designs and generalizations are not in some textbooks. Discussions, experiments, investigations in inquiry activities are included in all the textbooks. However, inspections are not appeared in the all the books. Based on the above results, social and techno-industrial inquiry contexts in the varied scopes are necessary in the environment curricula with a unified direction. Inquiry processes with pro-environmental behaviors as a last goal might be given into the curricula, having tasks that could be understand unified inquiries. In addition, inspections with effectiveness might be thrown into the scene of education.

미국 노스다코타주 농촌지도사업에 있어서 노인복지 프로그램의 현황과 전망 (The Situations and Its Challenge for Rural Elderly Welfare Program on Extension Education in North Dakota, USA)

  • The objective of this study is to explore the situations and extension roles for rural elderly welfare program in North Dakota, USA. With a growing older population, aging has become an important issue for extension. Services for rural elderly available in North Dakota were adult day care, home health care, senior insurance counseling, nutrition and medication assistance programs, support groups, legal assistance, meals on wheels, nursing homes and more. With a growing older population, aging has become an important issue for extension. Extension provides programs and services for rural elderly. This study was conducted by literature review. First, many rural elderly Americans are actively engaged in volunteer work and have made substantial contributions to their communities. Second, extension educators from interdisciplinary areas should work together to develop programs. Extension programs can include intergenerational programs to help younger generations learn about the issue. Third, extension can collaborate with other agencies and groups to offer support groups. Offering educational programs is a key to empowering older people. Fourth, elderly residents may be the only increasing natural resource for volunteering in general, and for participation in community improvement in particular. Fifth, extension educators should be proactive in working with agencies to provide social access and in helping older people be actively engaged in their lives, especially in rural areas.

Expanding the aging self: Investigating successful aging among Korean older adults using grounded theory

  • Purpose: This qualitative study aimed to understand older adults' perspectives on successful aging and develop a model of a successful aging process, within the Korean socio-cultural context. Methods: This study used a Grounded Theory approach. Through theoretical sampling, 14 participants were selected from older adults at a public health center and a volunteer institution in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Results: The basic social process identified was "expanding the aging self", which was preceded by three phases, namely, adjusting to the changes, developing the valuable self, and embracing the environment. Participants used 2-3 strategies for successful aging in each phase. For adjusting to the changes, participants used strategies such as "adopting a positive attitude", "accepting the changes", and "being at the center of life". To develop the valuable self, "re-identifying capacities", "having something to do", and "advancing to a healthy lifestyle" were used. Participants embraced their environments with "sharing with others" and "embracing younger generations". The causal condition for expanding the aging self was the changes in participants' physical, mental, or psychosocial situations. Conclusion: These findings suggest a theoretical foundation for the development of potential nursing interventions to promote self-care management and the interpersonal relationship for successful aging among Korean elderly individuals.

태국 칠일불(七日佛)의 상징색채와 복식 (The Study on Symbolic Color and Costume of The Seven Days Buddha in Thailand)

  • In traditional costume, colors have been used to express the religion, society, culture, custom, and other aspects of a country. This is mainly due to color being the most conspicuous visual factor of a costume. In Thailand, there is a symbolic color for each day of the week, and the purpose of this study is to contribute to deeper understanding of the Thailand culture in regards to color and its costumes. The study method is as follows: literatures and photos were researched for social and religious background of the seven days Buddha history, which was the source of the color a day culture, symbols and significance of each Buddha were studied and precedent studies were reviewed. The study attempted to investigate the effect of the symbolic color on costumes as it passed down from generations. Originally, the symbolic colors of seven days Buddha in Thailand was a religious component that was exclusive to the upper class. However, it has expanded to the lower classes today. Currently, it obtains an aspect of health and wealth gospel for oneself or others as well as being used to express individual personality because people regard certain color as their symbolic color.

청소년자녀와 어머니를 위한 세대간 이해증진 프로그램 개발 및 실시 (A Program Development and Implementation Enhancing to Understand Generations between Adolescent Children and Parents)

  • The relationship between adolescent children and parents has a profound effect on not only the adolescents development into healthy adults but also the psychological welfare of the parent. A program focused to improve adolescents relationship with parents has not been developed until now. To achieve the educational goals enhancing mutual understanding, it is more effective to educate both the parents and adolescent children. Thus, this study developed and carried out a program in which adolescent children and mothers, being fully in charge of raising children, participated. The study analyzed the program effects after implementing on 6 pairs of adolescent children and mothers. The results are as follows: 1) adolescent children and mothers placed high values on the fact that they can understand each other well, 2) both parties accepted each other by recognizing the inevitability of the generation gap, and 3) the program gave them a chance to admit that they should try to communicate openly. Most of all, adolescent children could find self-confidence while mothers could collect valuable data essential to raise children and build a new mother's role model adapting to social changes.

지속가능한 주거환경교육을 위한 청소년의 미세먼지에 대한 인식 조사: 전북지역을 중심으로 (A Survey on the Recognition by Youth of Particulate Matter for Sustainable Residential Environment Education: Focused on the Jeonbuk Area)

  • This study analyzes the need for appropriate response education in schools for national health and sustainable development education in connection with particulate matter, which has recently emerged as a serious environmental and social problem. The survey was conducted on 1,200 teenagers(middle and high school students) in North Jeolla Province. The results of the study are as follows. First, the survey results were generally low in terms of environmental attitude and response(actuality) as well as the level of knowledge of particulate matter. Second, particulate matter-related education is rarely conducted at school sites; therefore, it is also necessary to develop an environmental education programs that can be a significant educational experience along with a specific educational orientation that is required to ensure the achievement of sustainable residential environment education. Finally, we hope that this study will help raise awareness on sustainable residential environment education amid difficulties in accessibility. Issues that need further study include: the absence of education materials, environmental education related to particulate matter, and guidance on how to maintain healthy living for individuals that help increase interest in a sustainable living environment for future generations.

빅데이터를 활용한 복지정책 시각화분석 -충청도 중심으로- (Welfare Policy Visualization Analysis using Big Data -Chungcheong-)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 4차산업혁명 시대의 빅데이터 분석 기술을 활용한 충청도 복지정책 변화와 중요성을 분석하고 사회적 약자를 포함한 모든 세대의 안정적 복지정책을 제안하였다. 충청도 정책 관련 빅데이터를 파이선으로 코딩하여 시각화분석 결과를 토대로 안정적인 정부 정책을 제안한다. 연구 결과 충청도 정부 정책의 키워드는 지역, 사회, 정부 및 지원, 교육, 여성 등의 순으로 확인되었으며, 지역 건강정책과 사회 복지 향상을 중심으로 복지 정책을 강화해야 한다. 향후 연구 방향은 해외사례를 비교하고, 전국적인 복지정책의 안정적인 영향에 관한 정책 제안이 필요할 것이다.

The Effects of Self-development, Self-therapy, and Self-presentation Motivations on Quality of Life, Visitor Loyalty, and Omnivorous Cultural Engagement through Visitor Satisfaction in Art Museums: Examining the Moderation Effect of Age and Attitude toward SNS Posting

  • This study investigates the effects of the fulfillment of self-motivation including self-development, self-therapy, and self-presentation on the outcomes such as subjective quality of life, omnivorous cultural engagement, and visitor loyalty via visitor satisfaction in art museums. The analyses on 285 valid survey responses demonstrated that fulfillment of self-development and self-therapy needs have significant positive influence on visitor satisfaction. The effect of fulfilling self-presentation need on visitor satisfaction was found to be moderated by attitude toward SNS posting, while the age factor, based on generations, did not show a significant moderation effect. It was also found that visitor satisfaction positively influences visitor loyalty, including intentions of revisit and recommendation. Increased satisfaction also enhances subjective QOL and omnivorous cultural engagement among art museum visitors, implying promising collaboration among cultural arts institutions. The findings have both theoretical and practical implications for enhancing visitor experiences and promoting diverse cultural engagement. Limitations and future research directions are also discussed.

상속세(相續稅)에 있어서의 형평(衡平)과 효율성(效率性)의 괴리(乖離) (Equity-Efficiency Trade-off: the Case of Inheritance Tax)

  • 본고에서는 소득(所得) 또는 부(富)의 불평등도(不平等度)가 상속과정(相續過程)에 의해 야기 될 경우, 재분배적(再分配的) 상속세(相續稅)의 도입이 소득분포(所得分布)의 불균등도(不均等度) 및 사회후생(社會厚生)에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 살펴보았다. 이를 위하여 유산동기가 서로 다른 개인(個人)들로 구성된 중복세대 모형을 설정하여 상속세율(相續稅率)의 변화시 정체균형간(停滯均衡間)의 비교정학적 분석을 통하여 분배(分配) 및 후생효과(厚生效果)를 고찰하였다. 본고의 분석에 의하면 비례적(比例的) 상속세(相續稅)를 이용한 재분배정책(再分配政策)은 소득분포(所得分布)의 불균등도(不均等度)를 완화시키는 역할을 하나, 장기적(長期的)으로 평균소득(平均所得) 및 자본량(資本量)에 미치는 효과는 효용함수(效用函數)의 형태(形態)에 따라 다르게 나타났다. 또한 조세왜곡(組稅歪曲)에 의한 후생상실효과(厚生喪失效果)로 말미암아 상속세율(相續稅率)의 증가가 재분배효과(再分配效果) 및 정(正)의 장기소득효과(長期所得效果)를 갖더라도 사회후생(社會厚生)은 오히려 감소할 수 있음을 보였다. 경험적(經驗的)으로 합당(合當)하리라 기대되는 상수(常數)값을 이용한 수량적(數量的) 시뮬레이션 결과에 의하면, 실질이자율(實質利子率)이 그 황금률 수준보다 높고 한계효용(限界效用)의 탄성치(彈性値)가 충분히 클 경우에 한하여 상속세율(相續稅率)의 증가는 분배개선효과(分配改善效果)와 아울러 공리주의적 사회후생함수(社會厚生函數)의 값을 높일 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 만일 이러한 조건이 충족되지 않을 경우 상속세(相續稅)를 이용한 소득재분배정책(所得再分配政策)은 오히려 사회후생(社會厚生)을 낮추는 하향평준화(下向平準化)을 효과(效果)만을 갖게 될 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

과학적 모델의 사회적 구성 수업에서 구현된 두 과학 교사의 실천적 지식의 내용 (The Contents of Practical Knowledge Realized in Two Science Teachers' Classes on Social Construction of Scientific Models)

  • 이 연구는 과학적 모델의 사회적 구성 과정을 목적으로 설계된 수업을 실행한 두 과학 교사의 과학 수업에서 형성되었던 실천적 지식의 내용을 Elbaz가 제시한 실천적 지식의 5가지 내용 범주를 준거로 조사하였다. 이를 위해 두 과학 교사의 과학 수업에 대한 참여 관찰 및 수업 촬영 비디오 자료를 바탕으로 행위 동안의 반성 과정 및 수업 후 면담에 반영된 교사들의 내러티브를 통한 행위에 대한 반성 과정을 질적으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 1) 두 과학 교사의 수업 실행 과정에서 학생들이 과학적인 모델을 구성할 수 있도록 지원하는 비계를 제공할 때 교과내용 지식에 대한 실천적 지식이 발현되는 것을 볼 수 있었다. 2) 교육 과정에 대한 교사의 지식이 어려운 과학 개념의 이해와 전달에서 주어진 학습 목표에 적절한 모델 형성으로 수업의 목표를 변화하는데 중요함을 알 수 있었다. 3) 참여 교사의 교수법 지식의 실행은 과학적 모델의 사회적 구성 수업의 의도에 맞추어 학생들의 모둠 활동과 모델 생성 활동을 지원하는 방향으로 변화하였다. 4) 교사의 자아에 대한 실천적 지식은 학생들이 모둠 활동을 통해 과학적 모델을 구성하는 것을 지원할 수 있으려면, 교사는 조력자, 안내자, 그리고 격려자로서 자신의 역할을 인식하고 변화된 역할을 적절하게 수행하는 것이 중요함을 보여주었다. 5) 두 참여 교사의 학습 환경에 대한 실천적 지식은 수업을 진행하는 동안 각 모둠과 교사가 형성한 상호작용의 양상을 통해 발현되었으며, 두 교사는 함께 뛰는 운동 선수 또는 그라운드 옆의 코치와 같은 양상을 보였다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 과학적 모델 구성에 대한 영역 특이적 실천적 지식의 특성에 대해 논의하였다.
