In this paper, the hybrid function by local scale control is proposed to detect the optimal edges from blurred images. In the case of image capturing, some blurring is occurred by the characteristics of the illumination and the reflected light. During processing the blurred image, it is difficult to detect perfect edges. This algorithm proposed a new hybrid function which is merged Gaussian function and the second derivative of Gaussian function. And it detects the optimal edges applying directional edge detection by Canny algorithm as the scale factor of $\sigma$ in the given local mask has been changed after convolving the hybrid function for input image. In the result, the performance is confirmed that this algorithm is better than Sobel, Robert and Canny edge detector by analyzing the some test images. And the results is obtained 0.2 ㏈ ~ 14 ㏈ of PSNR than those conventional method.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to test the mediating effects of ego-resilience on relationship between perceived parenting attitudes and regulatory focus among college students. Methods: In this study, 256 college students were surveyed. The collected data were put through correlation analysis using PASW Statistics 18.0. In addition, 3-stage multiple regression analyses and the Sobel test were used to test any mediating effects. Results: The findings show that the diversity of concerns and interests, emotion control, and positive future orientation, the subfactors of ego-resiliency, all have partial mediating effects on the relationship between father's care and promotion focus. Only positive future orientation had partial mediating effects on the relationship between mother's care and promotion focus. Conclusion: Father's care turned out to be an independent variable to explain better the mediating effects of ego-resiliency on relations between parenting attitudes and regulatory focus, which implies the influence and importance of father's care on college students.

In this paper we describe a nonparametric Wilcoxon test and a parametric Z test based on statistical hypothesis testing for the detection of edges. We use the threshold determined by specifying significance level $\alpha$, while Bovik, Huang and Munson[4] consider the range of possible values of test statistics for the threshold. From the experimental results of edge detection, the Z method performs sensitively to the noisy image, while the Wilcoxon method is robust over both noisy nd noise-free images. Comparison with our statistical tests and Sobel operator shows that our tests perform more effectively in both noisy and noise-free images.

This study aims to analyze in relation to the influence and variable that their job instability and job stress attribute turnover intention to 134 employees of Midium and Small Firm less than 50 employees of a company being legal management at metropolitan area(Seoul, Kyeonggi-do, Incheon). To analyze a data, I took advantage of SPSS V.21, to analyze correlativity as each variable & causability, utilized bivariate correlation analysis & simple, multiple regression analysis, used sobel test as parameter effectiveness verification and post verification. This research result drew an conclusion to influence to turnover intention and stress perception from employment instability and job role stress of employees of Midium and Small Firm less than 50 employees being legal management, make of effect to the relation to stress perception and turnover intention indirectly. This result suggested the importance of stress management and human resource administration of employee of a Midium and Small Firm being legal management, drew an conclusion to attempt the research at first on employment instability and job stress of employees of Midium and Small Firm being legal management.

The study was to identify the mediating effect of Self-efficacy between Self-leadership and Impowerment in the Nursing students. The study was conducted from 02nd March to 29th March. The data was collected using structural questionnaire from 166 nursing students in 2 Nursing department in D city. The data was analyzed by SPSS/WIN 19.0, AMOS 19.0 and Sobel Test. The mean value of were as follows: self-leadership 3.36, Self-efficacy 3.02, Impowerment 3.28. There was positive relationship between self-leadership and Self-efficacy(r=.306, p<.001), self-leadership and Impowerment(r=.291, p<.001) and between Self-efficacy and Impowerment(r=.559, p<.001). This study confirmed that Self-efficacy had a mediating effect on the relationship between self-leadership and Impowerment. To improve Self-efficacy, enhancing self-leadership and Impowerment is required.

The purpose of this study is to verify the factors that affect the fear of crime by applying the risk interpretation model. Especially, whereas previous studies have not proven micro individual factor that the risk interpretation model had presented, This study includes micro individual elements such as neighborhood factor, perceived risk of crime, fears of crime as main variables. This study utilized secondary data of the National Crime Victimization Survey 2012, conducted by the Korean Institute of Criminology. In this study, multiple regression analysis of two stages and Sobel Test were conducted for verifying the individual influence of each independent variables and identifying the causal relationship between the variables set out in the risk analysis model. As the result, it appeared that the higher level of perceived risk of crime, neighborhood factor, crime experience, education, income cause the higher degree of the fear of crime. On the other hand, the lower degree of age was found to induce the higher level of the fear of crime. In addition, female showed the higher degree of the fear of crime than man. The causal relationship between the variables set out in the risk interpretation model was presented significantly in all variables, except for education.

The purpose of research is to investigate mediating effect of stress management on influence over post traumatic stress disorder with traumatic case experience. In order to investigate, police officers from 4 police stations in Jeju were selected as subjects, 297 police officers. Data processing analysis of the research was verified by going through Baron & Kenny's regression analysis in 4 phases and Sobel Test was done to verify significance level on mediation effect. Through the research by confirming the manifestation route of post traumatic stress disorder symptom after traumatic case experience, assisted in setting up of appropriate post traumatic stress disorder intervention program and the purpose of research is to ultimately help police officers to break free from post traumatic stress and establish positive and dynamic work environment.

This study was examined to confirm the mediating effect of ego resilience on the relation between parental neglect and abuse and school life adjustment in adolescents. For this research, this study used the 4th-year data from the Korean Child and Youth Panel Survey(KCYPS)' 4th grader in elementary school and analyzed 2,092 1st grade of middle school students. Data was analyzed by means of descriptive statistics, Pearson coefficient correlation and hierarchical analysis. To examine the mediating effect, the study used sobel test. The findings ]were as follows. First, parental neglect and abuse negatively effected adolescents' school life adjustment. Second, adolescents' ego resilience has a partial mediating effect on the relation between parental neglect and adolescents' school life adjustment. Third, adolescents' ego resilience has a partial mediating effect on the relation between parental abuse and adolescents' school life adjustment. These results suggest that home, school, and local community need to make an effort to improve ego resilience of adolescents, who are suffering from parental neglect and abuse, for school life adjustment.

This paper analyzed the effect of job search channels on the occupational adaptation of college graduates, with the Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey(GOMS) data. The analysis results are as follows: First, when using human networks for getting jobs, not only the educational level and major adequacy, but also the workplace satisfaction and the job satisfaction were higher than when using non-human networks. Second, as in the mediating effect of the relationship between job search channels and occupational adaptation by Sobel-test, it was found that there was a partial mediating effect of educational level and major adequacy, excluding skill level adequacy. The results of this study shows that human networks, by serving as an effective information transmitter on person-job fit between job search and recruitment, contribute significantly to improve occupational adaptation of college graduates. These results imply that strategic utilization of human networks in job search activities is important, and that it is necessary that career-related programs in the universities or the employment service institutions systematically include the importance and methods of using human networks.

This study aimed to verify the effects of parental chid-rearing attitudes on adolescents' aggressiveness and the mediation effects of peer attachment. To this end, the 7th year data (2016) (4th grade to the first year of high school) of Korea Children & Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS) were used. The results of this study are as follows: First, the correlations between child-rearing attitudes, aggressiveness, and peer attachment variables were confirmed. Second, parental child-rearing attitudes significantly affected adolescents' aggressiveness. Third, peer attachment showed some mediation effects in terms of the effects of parental child-rearing attitudes on adolescents' aggressiveness. For the significance verification of the mediation effects, the Sobel test was carried out. The results of this study are meaningful as empirical foundation. Based on the study results, this study suggested the need of education programs for parents and peer attachment consolidation programs for adolescents in relation with social welfare mediation practice.
