There exist a variety of VR(Virtual Reality) contents that have been developed by the use of the latest VR technologies. Unlike the rapid advances in the recent VR devices however, the development of VR based game contents that fully utilize such cutting-edge devices has been lackluster. Using more accessible form of smartphone-based HMDs(Head-Mounted Displays), we compare two popular VR presentation methods(a realistic 3D VR karaoke room and a 360 degree video karaoke room) and analyze their users' immersion and realistic perception. We expect that our study can be utilized as a supporting guideline for future smartphone-based VR content developments.

Today, a number of users using smartphone is very rapidly increasing by development of smartphone performance and providing various services. Also, they are using it for enjoying various services(cloud service, game, banking service, mobile office, etc.). today's mobile security solution is simply to detect malicious code or stay on the level of mobile device management. In particular, the services which use sensitive information, such as certificate, corporation document, personal credit card number, need the technology which are prevented from hacking and leaking it. Recently, interest of these mobile security problems are increasing, as the damage cases been occurred. To solve the problem, there is various security research such as mobile virtualization, ARM trustzone, GlobalPlatform for mobile device. Therefore, in this paper, I suggested efficient method that uses the mobile virtualization techniques of certification, security policy and access control, password/key management, safe storage, etc. and Trustzone of ARM for preventing information leakage and hacking.

The purpose of this research is to present the major factors which determine dominant design of Smartphone OS and to verify a logical causal relationship with them and user satisfaction. To achieve this goal, OS compatibility, OS enhancement, Installed base, and network effect were presented as determinants of Smartphone OS which serves as the basis for determining dominant design and their logical causal relationship with user satisfaction was empirically analyzed. The results of the research showed that OS compatibility and OS enhancements had a positive effect on the expansion of user base. Of the two factors, OS enhancement showed that it does not only expand the user base but also acts as the cause for the fortification of the network effect. Furthermore, it was shown that OS enhancement had a direct positive effect on user satisfaction. The findings of this research are significant in its academic contribution as well as its potential for practical application by presenting the logical causal relationship in the process of determining OS dominant design an area which was previously untouched by empirical testing.

The purpose of this study is to explore the factors affecting purchase intention of smartphone in Chinese university students. We have identified five independent variables that affecting purchase intention of smartphone, which include price, compatibility, security, social influence and consumer innovations. We test the degree of influence of these five variables on customer satisfaction eventually and on purchase intention. To prove the hypothesis, we performed questionnaire investigation in Qingdao University. and final date of 187 samples were analyzed by using SPSS18.0 program. The result of hypothesis verification is the followings: As the independent variables of compatibility and consumer innovations are affects satisfaction; the price, security and social influence are not affects satisfaction and the satisfaction as the parameter affects the purchase intention which is the dependent variable in this study in Chinese university students. At the end of this study, the marketing implications for advancing to China market based on the results of empirical analysis were presented.

Although mobile banking provides cost-saving opportunities as well as convenient banking experience for customers, today's banks still face challenges when deploying the technology because a good number of customers are reluctant to use mobile banking for personal reasons. This paper is an empirical investigation of the determinants of the intention to use smartphone-based mobile banking services. The determinants are grouped into two categories including personal factors and social influence factors. We conducted an empirical analysis using 751 survey responses collected from present users of mobile banking services. The results of the analysis reveal that all the personal factors have positive relationships with the intention to use mobile banking services. On the other hand, it was found that of the social influence factors, perceived herding behavior has significantly positive relationship with the intention to use smartphone-based services, whereas subjective norm is not significantly related to the intention. We provide practical as well as academic implications of the research findings.

One of the fundamental requirements of entertainment applications is interactivity with users. The mobile device such as the smartphone, however, does not guarantee it due to the limit of the application processor's computing power, memory size and available electric power of the battery. This paper proposes a methodology to boost responsiveness of interactive applications by taking advantage of the parallel architecture of mobile devices which, for instance, have dual-core, quad-core or octa-core. To harness the multi-core architecture, it exploits the POSIX thread, a platform-independent thread library to be able to be used in various mobile platforms such as Android, iOS, etc. As a useful application example of the methodology, a heavy matrix calculation function was transformed to a parallelized version which showed around 2.5 ~ 3 times faster than the original version in a real-world usage environment.

As the number of smartphone users have increased, many kinds of malwares have emerged. Unlike existing malwares, spyware can be installed normally after user authentication and agreement according to security policy. For this reason, it is not easy to catch spywares involving harmful functionalities to users by using existing malware detection system. Therefore, our paper focuses on study about detecting mainly wiretapping spywares among them by developing a new wiretapping detection model and application. Specifically, this study conducts to find out power consumption on each application and modular and network consumption to detect voice wiretapping so Open Source Project Power Tutor is used to do this. The risk assessment of wiretapping is measured by gathered all power consumption data from Open Source Project Power Tutor. In addition, developed application in our study can detect at-risk wiretapping spyware through collecting and analyzing data. After we install the application to the smartphone, we collect needed data and measure it.

This study was conducted to test the impacts of distractions caused by smartphones on pedestrians whilst walking alongside or across vehicular traffic in a high-density urban zone in South Korea. Through this study, we propose objective evidence for a link between the risk of traffic accidents and distractions from smartphones for pedestrians because of less likely notice activities surrounding road along their walking. This means that smartphones usage may cause inattentional blindness even during a simple activity that should require few cognitive resources. We conducted an experiment comparing pedestrian behavioral patterns of walking with smartphone distractions (such as listening to music with earphones or sending text messages) and normal walking without any distractions. In the experiment, participants walked along a pedestrian path prescribed by researchers and were observed at 8 points which were as follows: two observation points through which participants were instructed to listen to music whilst walking, two points where participants were instructed to send text messages, and four points through which participants were instructed not to use a smartphone at all. According to pedestrian behavior analysis, there is a trend for attention to be distributed amongst whatever other activities pedestrians are doing whilst walking. Therefore, this study proposes that pedestrians walking with such distractions are at a higher risk of traffic accidents compared to those who walk without such distractions. Thus, we advise for the South Korean government to consider ways to traffic policy that will enhance traffic safety for pedestrians.

This study was conducted to investigate how adolescent's smart phone addiction affect psychological mindedness. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, Jeonju-si and Jeollabuk-do adolescent's enrolled in a survey. t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis and regression analysis was performed by using SPSS program. The result of this study is that adolescent's smart phone addiction affect on psychological mindedness significantly. Smartphone addiction had a significant influence on psychological mindedness in negative way. The results of this study of adolescent's addicted to smartphones with a greater understanding of material will be important to broaden adolescent's is desirable to recognize the direction of smartphones will be able to provide that opportunity.

This study investigates whether the use of smartphone and Facebook in the classroom induces students' active participation in their reading activities and what are the points to be considered when ICT-based English reading class is designed. Students in an English course, Practical English listening and reading, did their reading activities using their own smartphones and posted the results of the activities on Facebook. Smartphone was used primarily for web-browsing and Facebook as LMS. The pre-questionnaire was conducted to be referred to for designing activity tasks. The post-questionnaire and the interview with 10 students were conducted to identify how students perceive their class. The research results showed that the use of ICT induced students' active participation in their learning. As for the points to be considered, narrowing down the range of class activities, slowing down the pace of the class, explaining enough the goals and the steps of the activities, considering adopting campus LMS, and preparing solutions for cyberloafing were suggested.
