Functional Difference of the Human Body Movements on Gait with or without Smart phone in Elementary School Students (초등학생 스마트폰 사용 유·무 보행의 신체움직임 기능 차이)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate temporal and spatial variations, and moments of the lower extremities of gait while playing the game with smartphone under different curb-heights. Ten male elementary school students(from 10 years to 13 years old) participated in this study. Twelve infrared cameras(Oqus-500) and two force plates(9260AA) were used for collecting data and these were processed via Visual 3D software. In conclusion, with or without smartphone and with different curb-heights, the spatial and temporal parameters of walking were not the same and coefficients of variations were not consistent. The maximum joint moments of the lower extremities with or without smartphone were not statistically significant but those of hip and ankle joint were statistically significant with regard to the different heights of the curbs.

Influences of Smartphone Overuse on Health and Academic Impairment in Adolescents : Using Data from Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey of 2017 (스마트폰 과사용이 청소년의 건강과 학업에 미치는 영향 : 2017년 청소년건강행태온라인조사 자료를 이용하여)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of the smartphone overuse on health and academic impairment in adolescents. This study used data from Korea youth risk behavior web-based survey of 2017. This survey was conducted on 64,991 adolescents(middle and high school students), and 62,276 (95.8%) responded. The researchers used frequency analysis, independent t test, chi-square test and Pearson correlation analysis using SPSS 22. As a result, the usage rate of adolescents's smartphone was 54,603 out of 62,276, which was 87.7%. The purpose of smartphone usage was messenger(1st rank, 27.3%), SNS(2nd rank, 18.7%) and game(3rd rank, 13.3%). The average daily use time of the smartphone was 206.68±194.73 minutes. Girl students showed significantly more use time of smartphones than boy students(p<.001). Students with more than 206 minutes of smartphone use had worse health and academic performance than students with less than 206 minutes(p<.001). Time of smart phone usage and academic ability showed a weak correlation(p<.001, r=.245). The present findings showed that the higher the smartphone usage, the lower the health level and academic ability, and the author discussed these results.

  • Recent years have witnessed a surging popularity of games based on augmented reality and virtual reality. While old games embody virtual reality within the game platform, recent popular games based on augmented reality and virtual reality incorporate reality into virtual worlds. They present a new genre that is unprecedented, combined with what gamers have a passionate desire for, and thus provide new experiences. Good examples include smartphone games that were the game changer of the gaming industry in 2010 and the sensational $Pok{\acute{e}}mon$ Go that is gaining popularity nowadays. This study, thus, set out to analyze "gaming act(GA)" directly connected to the experiences of gamers to shed light on games as experiential content. The study analyzed gaming acts based on Park Sang-woo (2009) and assumed that gaming acts would change greatly according to the degree of real space intervening in game space; thus, examining changes to the gaming acts of games in two aspects of realizing virtual space from imaginations in game space and reproducing virtual space in real space.

  • Smartphone is popularized, it is a lot of development of the mobile advertising industry, is born many types of mobile advertising. Many developers in the mobile game is the advertised profitable by using the SDK of service companies that service the advertising the launch of free games. Mobile IGA banner, front advertising, we use the ad in the three forms of the front video advertising, each of advertising, have advantages and disadvantages. Although many of the games currently use a full-page ad and front video ads, these ads profitable model is use the user game play time. In order to improve the disadvantage of this method, Commonly used to analyze the three ad revenue model, looking for the element, by using the research result of the previous studies, we have proposed a new advertising Convergence profitable models.

  • According to KISA, many people play smartphone games. stress relieving, time is the reason to beat. Attempts to combine mobile games and education in the Korean game market are continuing. Studies have shown that using commercial games for education can be effective. Also, researches for activation educational games are increasing. Creating educational games requires a lot of time and money. Due to the nature of mobile games, the service is often terminated without updating. If you are able to acquire a naturally educational part while playing mobile games, you will see the effect of one pair of fun and education, both at once. We analyzed the education factors of the game with 'Real Farm' which is a simulation farm game. We focused on analyzing information acquisition and utilization part through indirect experience which is characteristic of simulation and examined educational factors based on design elements of educational game. This can signal the positive aspects of the game and the educational content of existing games. If you use smartphones as a pedagogy, you can expect a positive perception of games and an increase in the average life expectancy of mobile games.

  • Recently, the drone industry rapidly rises to the surface as the new market leading the future, and it seems that the hot UAV drone market shows the similar trend to that of the smartphone. It is expected that the individual application of the drone is quickly diffused as the smartphone roles of camera and game player with the communication medium. For example, the drone is developed mainly as war weapons, but now it is getting close to our real life as the toy or tool for the aerial photography. In this paper, we studied the education for how to bring the aging population to the drone industry. Previously, the controlling skill and taking aerial photography seemed to have nothing to do with citizen seniors. However, we develop the education for try to show any positive relationship between those, in this paper, thus creating more job opportunities for them.

Availability of Mobile Art in Smartphone Environment of Augmented Reality Content Industrial Technology (증강현실 콘텐츠 산업기술의 스마트폰 환경 모바일 아트 활용 가능성)

  • Smartphones provide users with environment for communication and sharing information and at the same time play an important role of mobile technology and mobile art development. Smartphone technology-related researches are being accelerated especially with the advent of mobile Augmented Reality(AR) age, but the studies on user participation that is essential for AR content industry were insufficient. In that regard, the assistance from mobile art area that has already developed these characteristics is essential. Thus, this article is to classify mobile art that has not been studied a lot domestically into feature phone usage and smartphone usage and to analyze each example case with the three most used methods. The usage of feature phones which use the sound and images of mobile devices can be divided into three: installation and performing methods, single channel video art method and five senses communication method. On the other hand, the usage of smartphones that use sensors, cameras, GPS and AR can be divided into location-based AR, marker-based AR and markerless AR. Also, as a result of examining mobile AR content utilization technology by industries, combined methods are utilized; tourism and game-related industries use location-based AR, education and medicine-related industries use marker-based AR, and shopping-related industries use markerless AR. The development of AR content industry is expected to be accelerated with mobile art that makes use of combined technology method and constant communication method through active participation of users. The future development direction of mobile AR industry is predicted to have minimized HMD, integration of hologram technology and artificial intelligence and make the most of big data and social network so that we could overcome the technological limitation of AR.

A Comparative Study on Acceptance of Social Network Games between Korean and Chinese Users (소셜 네트워크 게임의 사용자 수용에 대한 한·중 비교연구)

  • Today people use a smartphone as a tool for enjoying personal hobbies or entertaining contents as well as communication media. Most of the traditional game-specific platforms have transferred to smartphones equipped with social network games that integrate games with human relationships. As average life span of most games has been shortened gradually, game companies should be ready to develop new games to meet user needs. In this study we investigate the acceptance of social games, enjoyable by users and their friends linked in social networks. Since user behavior of social games may show cultural differences by country, we perform a comparative study on acceptance of social games between Korean and Chinese users. The structural relationships among factors affecting social game adoption have been analyzed focusing on differences between Korean and Chinese. We analyze similarities and differences of adoption mechanism in two countries and present some practical implications for related industry.

Likewise, drone will be versatile in the future. For example, drone was developed as war weapons but now it is getting close to our real life as toy or tool for aerial photography. In this paper, we studied how to bring the aging population to drone industry. Previously, controlling skills and taking aerial photography seemed to have nothing to do with citizen seniors.   • With the development of Internet and popularization of smartphones over recent years, social network services are experiencing rapid growth. On top of this, smartphone gaming market is showing a rapid growth and the use of mobile social games is on the significant rise. The occurrence of game data manipulation targeting these services and personal information leakage is highlighting the importance of social gaming security. This study is intended to propose development plans effective and efficient in social game services by figuring out factors putting effects on security dependent behavior of social game users in Korea and carrying out a practical study on the casual relationship between factors influencing security dependent behavior through recognized behavioral control and attitudes for privacy infringement of these factors. To do this, proposed was a study model in which the HBM(Health Belief Model) allowing the social game user to influence security dependent behavior was expanded and applied as a major variable. To verify the study model of this study practically, a survey was conducted among university students in Seoul-based K University and S University who had experienced using social game services. According to the study findings, firstly, the perceived seriousness turned out to provide positive influence to trust. But, the perceived seriousness turned out not to put positive effects on self-efficacy. Secondly, the perceived probability turned out not to put positive effects on self-efficacy and trust. Thirdly, the perceived gain turned out to put positive effects on self-efficacy and trust. Fourthly, the perceived disorder turned out not to put positive effects on self-efficacy and trust. Fifthly, self-efficacy turned out to put positive effects on trust. But, self-efficacy turned out not to put positive effects on security dependent behavior. Sixthly, trust turned out not to put positive effects on security dependent behavior. This study is intended to make a strategic proposal so that social game users can raise awareness of their level of security perception and security willingness through this.
