In island and backcountry areas, electrical power is usually supplied by diesel generators. It is difficult for small scale diesel generators to have an economy of scale owing to the usage of fossil fuels to produce electricity. Also, there is a problem of carbon dioxide emissions that brings some environmental pollution to the entire region of the area. For solving those, this paper proposes a design method of autonomous micro-grid to minimize the fossil fuels of diesel generator, which is composed of diesel generator, wind turbine, battery energy storage system and photovoltaic generation system. The proposed method was verified through computer simulation and micro-grid operation system.

Big data has recently been used in various industries such as tourism, medical care, distribution, and marketing. And it is evolving to the stage of collecting real-time information or analyzing correlations and predicting the future. In the tourism industry, big data can be used to identify the size and shape of the tourism market, and by building and utilizing a large-capacity database, it is possible to establish an efficient marketing strategy and provide customized tourism services for tourists. This paper has begun with anticipation of the effects that would occur when big data is actively used in the tourism field. Because the method of use must have applicability and practicality, the spatial scope will be limited to Seosan, Chungcheongnam-do, and research will be conducted. In this paper, to improve the quality of tourism courses by collecting and analyzing the number of mention data and sentiment index data on social media, which reflect the tourist's interest, preference and satisfaction. Therefore, it is used as basic data necessary for the development of new local tourism courses in the future. In addition, the development of tourism courses will be able to promote tourism growth and also revitalizing the local economy.

Recently, there has been increasing interest in the remodecycling options of idle spaces around the central city through the urban regeneration. Various studies to create new added value through this way are ongoing. This study aims to analyze the impact relationship and structure on the regeneration of idle space by types affecting the quality of residents' life and local economy revitalization. The hypothesis was verified by a suitability test for setting the hypothesis and statistical significance test from the PLS 3.0 package. The results of this study drew 6 hypotheses from a total of 11 on the 'idle space regeneration of economy based type of PLS-SEM' and 4 hypotheses from a total of 11 on the 'idle space regeneration of neighborhood regeneration type PLS-SEM'. The results can be summarized into several parts. First, if cultural aspects should be considered, the regeneration of idle space (economy-based type and neighborhood-regeneration type) could meet 2 parts, such as the quality of residents' life and local economy revitalization at the same time. Second, improving the 'physical aspects' only affects the 'idle space regeneration of the economy-based type of PLS-SEM'. Third, improving the 'social aspects' only affects the 'idle space regeneration of neighborhood regeneration type of PLS-SEM'. This study has significance in that it provides the empirical analysis for the regeneration of idle space and there are differences according to types of PLS structural model.
This study evaluated its potentials by quantitatively analyzing the national economic impact of the smart home-related industry, which is attracting attention as a core industry of the 4th industrial revolution. For the analysis, the smart home-related industries were classified into manufacturing and service industries through a literature review of the previous studies. Using the 2018 input-output table, this paper analyzed linkage effects between industries as well as spillover effects in the production, value-added, employment and job. As a result, the smart home manufacturing and service sectors showed a higher spillover effect in value-added than other industries in each industrial field. In the smart home industry, the spillover effects of manufacturing sector to service sector are larger than those of service sector to manufacturing sector. Moreover, it was confirmed that smart home industry was highly related to not only the technology-intensive industry, but also the service sector for smart cities, smart cars, Fin-tech, and etc. On the other hand, the smart home manufacturing sector is a final demanding industry with relatively higher backward linkage effect than forward linkage effect. In the smart home service sector, the forward linkage effect was relatively high compared with the backward linkage effect, indicating that it was an industry with a high supply function to other industries.
The block chain technology is a technique that prevents manipulation of data and ensures integrity and reliability. Ethereum is building a smart contract environment as a type of encryptionenabled system based on block chains. Smart contracts can be implemented when conditions are met, thus increasing confidence in digital data. However, smart contracts that are being tried in various ways are not covered by information security and personal information protection. The structure in which the network participant can view the open transaction ledger is exposed to data or personal information listed in the block chain. In this study, it is possible to manage the data of personal information recorded in the block chain directly. This study is protected personal information by preventing the exposure of personal information and by executing time code, it is possible to erase recorded information after a certain period of time has elapsed. Based on the proposed system in the future, it is necessary to study the additional management techniques of unknown code defects or personal information protection.

The article discusses the features of adaptation of the parameters of the physical layer of data transmission in self-organizing networks based on unmanned aerial vehicles operating in the conditions of "smart cities". The concept of cities of this type is defined, the historical path of formation, the current state and prospects for further development in the aspect of transition to "smart cities" of the third generation are shown. Cities of this type are aimed at providing more comfortable and safe living conditions for citizens and autonomous automated work of all components of the urban economy. The perspective of the development of urban mobile automated technical means of infocommunications is shown, one of the leading directions of which is the creation and active use of wireless self-organizing networks based on unmanned aerial vehicles. The advantages of using small-sized unmanned aerial vehicles for organizing networks of this type are considered, as well as the range of tasks to be solved in the conditions of modern "smart cities". It is shown that for the transition to self-organizing networks in the conditions of "smart cities" of the third generation, it is necessary to ensure the adaptation of various levels of OSI network models to dynamically changing operating conditions, which is especially important for the physical layer. To maintain an acceptable level of the value of the bit error probability when transmitting command and telemetry data, it is proposed to adaptively change the coding rate depending on the signal-to-noise ratio at the receiver input (or on the number of channel decoder errors), and when transmitting payload data, it is also proposed to adaptively change the coding rate together with the choice of modulation methods that differ in energy and spectral efficiency. As options for the practical implementation of these solutions, it is proposed to use an approach based on the principles of neuro-fuzzy control, for which examples of determining the boundaries of theoretically achievable efficiency are given.

Urban public health monitoring in smart cities focuses on the control of conditions and health challenges in urban environments. Considering the rapid spread of diseases and pandemics, it is important for health authorities to trace people carrying the virus. In smart cities, this tracing must be interoperable and intelligent, especially in indoor surfaces characterized by small distances between people. Therefore, to fight pandemics, it is necessary to start with the already-existing digital equipment of the Internet of Things, such as connected objects and smartphones. In this study, the developed system is employed to provide a social IoT network and suggest a strategy which allows reliable traceability without threatening the privacy of users. This IoT-based system allows respecting the social distance between persons sharing public services in smart cities without applying smartphone applications or severe confinement. It also permits a return to normal life in case of viral pandemic and ensures the much-desired balance between economy and health. The present study analyses previous proposed social distance systems then, unlike these studies, suggests an intelligent and distributed IoT based strategy for positioning students. Two scenarios of static and dynamic optimization-based placement of Bluetooth Low Energy devices are proposed and an experimental study shows the contribution and complementarity of the introduced contact tracing strategy with the applications on smartphones.
Purpose The main purpose of this study is to examine whether the expectations and outcomes of the bicycle-sharing service significantly influence users' expectation disconfirmation, satisfaction, and continuous intention to use. In addition, we will verify the moderating effect of social interaction in bicycle-sharing service on the relationship between satisfaction and continuous intention to use. Design/methodology/approach Based on previous studies dealing with determinants of bicycle use, users' expectations and outcomes of the bicycle-sharing service were measured by three variables; accessibility, convenience, and safety. To collect the data, we conducted a survey of undergraduates at a university located in Seoul for three weeks, beginning March 6. Participants completed the first questionnaire, which measured expectations of the bicycle-sharing service based on the attributes and social interaction before using the BSS. After a few weeks, the same participants completed the second questionnaire, which measured outcomes of the outcome, disconfirmation, satisfaction, and continuous intention to use the BSS. Only participants who completed both surveys received monetary compensation. In order to test hypothesis, the Smart Partial Least Square (SmartPLS) modeling technique was applied. Findings In terms of main effects, based on the expectation disconfirmation theory, the results indicated that there were significant relationship among expectation, performance, disconfirmation, and satisfaction. In particular, it was verified that disconfirmation completely plays a mediating role between performance and satisfaction. In addition, the moderating effect of social interaction was examined. There was a significant interaction effects of social interaction and satisfaction on the continuous intention to use for leisure purpose. Finally, this study is expected to contribute to the study of resource sharing in the field of tourism and provide baseline information for future research.
The Korean shipbuilding industry, which started in the 1970s with the advance of three shipbuilding companies, has been ranked as the world's largest and most successful model of the heavy and heavy chemical industry in the world since the 1990s, and has become a driving force for Korea's economic growth for several decades, including job creation and trade surplus. The domestic shipbuilding industry has won a lot of orders in favorable market environment, expanded facilities and manpower, built many ships and delivered them to shipowners, earning a lot of foreign currency and creating a 'successful myth.' However, when the global economic crisis broke out in 2008, shipbuilding in Chosun was stagnant and shipbuilding orders sharply decreased. As the facility and manpower increased in the boom period, the economy and the facilities become overcrowded as a result of the crisis, signs of a crisis in 2013 begin to appear. In 2015, three major Korean shipbuilders lost more than 6 trillion won in operating losses. Now, Korea's shipbuilding industry is facing a crisis such as massive insolvency and restructuring. Would not it have been possible to prevent the loss and restructuring of a trillion won if we recognized the recession of the global economy and understood the appropriate timing of technological innovation and prepared countermeasures against the crisis? Therefore, we analyze trends and trends of global shipbuilding industry such as Europe, China, and Japan in the competition structure of the shipbuilding industry and identify the problems of our shipbuilding industry and suggest suggestions.
As manufacturing items have changed in various ways, changes in the mass production of small-scale small-scale production of multiple varieties have become commonplace. As a result, the method of the manufacturing site has also changed, and the "smart factory," which emphasizes the production efficiency aspect using automation lines and big data of factories, is in the spotlight according to the global market economy. The introduction performance of smart factories has a positive effect in terms of production efficiency and is drawing a steep upward curve. In addition to the positive aspects, the aspect that needs to be supplemented in the future is the support and cooperation of specialized smart equipment suppliers, but education on standardized smart factories and the relocation of existing manpower, education, evaluation, and creative production that robots cannot replace Various support measures are also needed for activities. In addition, continuous management and systematic education are required to enter the upper stage. Through the case of companies that have built smart factories, it is intended to emphasize the need for proper use of manpower and support management for settlement and maintenance after introduction and continuous on-the-job training through the comparison of productivity before and after introduction to ensure the effect continues.
