  • In this study, the method to use the phase shift keying (PSK) communication technique in smart transmitter is presented. In nuclear applications. smart transmitters for various parameters are expected to improve the accuracy of measurement and to reduce the load of calibration work. The capability of communication in field level is the most important merit of the smart transmitter. The most popular method is using of digital and analog techniques simultaneously - transmitting measurements from the field at 4∼20mA while modulating the current to carry digital information in both directions over the same twisted pairs. Conventional smart transmitters use the frequency shift keying (FSK) method for digital communication. Generally, however, the FSK method has the speed limit at 1200 bps. Amount of information to transmit becomes increasing as the processing technique is improved. The PSK method is noticeable alternative for high speed digital communication, but it has non-zero DC component. In order to use the PSK method in the field transmission with smart transmitter, the method to remove the DC component is studied in this work.

중소기업용 스마트팩토리 보안 취약점 분류체계 개발: 산업제어시스템 중심으로 (Developing a Classification of Vulnerabilities for Smart Factory in SMEs: Focused on Industrial Control Systems)

  • The smart factory has spread to small and mid-size enterprises (SMEs) under the leadership of the government. Smart factory consists of a work area, an operation management area, and an industrial control system (ICS) area. However, each site is combined with the IT system for reasons such as the convenience of work. As a result, various breaches could occur due to the weakness of the IT system. This study seeks to discover the items and vulnerabilities that SMEs who have difficulties in information security due to technology limitations, human resources, and budget should first diagnose and check. First, to compare the existing domestic and foreign smart factory vulnerability classification systems and improve the current classification system, the latest smart factory vulnerability information is collected from NVD, CISA, and OWASP. Then, significant keywords are extracted from pre-processing, co-occurrence network analysis is performed, and the relationship between each keyword and vulnerability is discovered. Finally, the improvement points of the classification system are derived by mapping it to the existing classification system. Therefore, configuration and maintenance, communication and network, and software development were the items to be diagnosed and checked first, and vulnerabilities were denial of service (DoS), lack of integrity checking for communications, inadequate authentication, privileges, and access control in software in descending order of importance.

콜 센터에서 이직요인이 직무만족에 미치는 영향에 있어 스마트워크와 상사지원 융복합 서비스의 조절효과에 관한 연구 (The moderating effects of converging smart work and supervisor's support in the study of turnover on job satisfaction in call centers)

  • 본 논문의 연구목적은 콜센터 상담사의 이직요인을 학문적 실무적 관점에서 고찰하고 이에 대한 완화방안으로 콜센터 서비스에 스마트워크 기술과 상사지원 서비스의 융복합이 상담사의 직무만족에 정의 효과를 나타내는지 여부를 검증하는데 있다. 본 연구는 상담사의 이직요인에 대한 선행 연구의 이론적 배경을 토대로 스마트워크 효과와 상사지원효과를 조절변수로 하는 연구모델과 가설을 설정하고, 금융분야의 콜센터 상담사를 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 가설검증을 위하여 자료 분석은 SPSS 20.0을 사용하였으며, 영향관계 검증을 위해서는 다중회귀분석, 조절효과 검증을 위해서는 위계적 회귀분석을 사용하였다. 실증분석 결과 상담사의 개인적 이직요인에 대한 스마트워크 조절효과와 업무적 이직요인에 있어 업무 과부하는 상사지원이 상담사의 직무만족에 유의한 정(+)의 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났지만, 직무탈진감에 대한 상사지원 조절효과는 부(-)의 효과가 나타났다. 이는 상담사의 속사정을 모르는 지나친 상사의 지원은 오히려 상담사 개인의 자존심에 역효과를 주어 이직율 완화에 부정적인 영항을 줄 수 있다는 점을 의미할 수 있다.

테크노스트레스와 일과 후 업무연속성이 직무만족에 미치는 영향 연구 : 일-삶의 갈등의 매개역할을 중심으로 (The Effects of Technostress and Work Connectivity after Work Hours on Job Satisfaction : Focusing on a Mediating Role of Work-Life Conflicts)

  • Due to the rapid development of information communication technology, employees have conducted their tasks with smart devices such as smartphones and tablet PCs in the midst of after work hours. In line with this phenomenon, we have examined the relationships among technostress, work connectivity behavior after hours (WCBA) and technostress inhibitors and job satisfaction. Based on the results of prior research, we developed and tested our research model which posits the certain factors such as technostress, WCBA and technostress inhibitors affect work-life conflicts which, in turn influence employees' job satisfaction. Survey data collected from 345 users who have experiences on using smart devices was used to test the model using PLS (partial least squares). In this study, we found that technostress and WCBA were positively related to the work-life conflicts. We also found that the relationship between technostress inhibitors and job satisfaction was significant. The implications of these findings for both research and practice are discussed.

유압 굴착기 실험을 통한 작업량 추정법 확인에 관한 연구 (A Study of a Hydraulic Excavator's Test to Verify of Payload Estimation by Bucket's Motion Equation)

  • It is important to measure the excavator's work productivity that estimates the bucket's payloads on a process. If the bucket isn't filled at every working cycle, the excavator's operator has to drive the machine more to achieve his work quota. If bucket is filled over with the load, the other way around, the transferred object has to spread out on the workplace. That causes additional work to clean the site. This paper proposes a method that can estimate the bucket's payload to improve the excavator's work productivity. This method assumes that the excavator is a lumped mass system. And it uses a 3 points angle (boom link, arm link, swing) and 2 points pressure (boom cylinder's input port and output port) of measurable data. Depending on assumptions, the bucket's payload can be calculated by the payload's motion equation. And this suggested method can be verified by simple experiments.

스마트 건설안전기술 도입으로 인한 안전관리자의 역할 스트레스 영향 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Factors Effecting the Role Stress of Safety Managers due to the Introduction of Smart Construction Safety Technology)

  • The purpose of this paper is to verify if safety managers must bear stress from additional tasks whenmanaging smart safety technology applications on construction sites. We conducted a survey of 133 safety managers who had experienced managing both safety management and smart safety technology applications at construction sites, and used the SPSS Statistics 25 and AMOS 22 programs to analyze the survey's logicality and the data that we collected. We found that the work burden caused by assuming additional tasks to manage smart safety technology applications affected the stress that safety managers experience when working at construction sites. The stress caused by an increased work burden led construction site safety managers to feel dissatisfied with their jobs. This finding indicates that both on the original job and on additional tasks are entirely mediated. Based on this finding, I suggest that the South Korean government should establish smart safety technology applications, thus reducing the work burden and increasing the job satisfaction for construction site safety managers.

Implementation of Face Recognition Applications for Factory Work Management

  • Facial recognition is a biometric technology that is used in various fields such as user authentication and identification of human characteristics. Face recognition applications are practically used in various fields, but very few applications have been developed to improve the factory work environment. We implemented applications that uses face recognition to identify a specific employee in a factory .work environment and provide customized information for each employee. Factory workers need documents describing the work in order to do their assigned work. Factory managers can use our application to register documents needed for each worker, and workers can view the documents assigned to them. Each worker is identified using face recognition, and by tracking the worker's face during work, it is possible to know that the worker is in the workplace. In addition, as a mobile app for workers is provided, workers can view the contents using a tablet, and we have defined a simple communication protocol to exchange information between our applications. We demonstrated the applications in a factory work environment and found several improvements were required for practical use. We expect these results can be used to improve factory work environments.

Getting Smart? A Research Note into Smart Tourism Curriculum and Implications on Generation Alpha and Beta

  • This research note probes the largely ignored sphere of smart tourism curriculum as destinations and institutions seek to develop graduates ready to embrace the demands and challenges of future work environments where technology has a ubiquitous presence. This knowledge gap is somewhat surprising, even as destinations progress towards smart tourism futures, without necessarily clarifying what human resources need to possess in the coming decades. Drawing from available smart tourism curriculum across the globe, and emergent trends associated with Generation Alpha and Beta, this research note paints a timely picture of how smart tourism curriculum should be designed and developed to meet the needs of industry and consumer demands and expectations.

  • Smart factory is a remarkable development from traditional manufacturing systems to data-based smart manufacturing systems that can connect and process data continuously, collected from machines, production equipment to production and business processes, capable of supporting workers in making decisions or performing work automatically. Smart factory is the key and center of the fourth industrial revolution, combining improvements in traditional manufacturing activities with digital technology to help factories achieve greater efficiency, contributing to increased revenue and reduce operating costs for businesses. Besides, the importance of smart factories is to make production more quality, efficient, competitive and sustainable. Businesses in Vietnam are in the process of learning and applying smart factory models. However, the number of businesses applying the pine factory model is still limited due to many barriers and difficulties. Therefore, in this paper we conduct a survey to assess the needs and current situation of businesses in applying smart factories and propose some specific solutions to develop and promote application of smart factory model in Vietnamese businesses.

COVID-19 재정지원정책과 기업가정신이 중소기업혁신에 미치는 영향 : 스마트워크 도입 유무에 따른 비교 연구 (The Impact of COVID-19 Financial Support Policy and Entrepreneurship on Technological Innovation of SMEs : A Comparative Study on the Introduction of Smart Work)

  • COVID-19로 인해 전 세계적으로 경제는 악화되었으며 국내 역시 큰 타격을 받게 되었다. 이에 정부는 중소기업들이 겪고 있는 자금난 해소를 위해 전례 없는 COVID-19 관련 재정지원 정책을 시행하였다. 또한, 정부는 COVID-19 확산이 지속되자 비대면 접촉을 권고했으며 그에 따른 지침과 방안을 내세움에 따라 공공부문과 민간부문의 조직들은 비대면 형태의 업무방식을 도입하였다. 이러한 상황을 고려하여 본 연구는 COVID-19 관련 재정지원 정책이 중소기업의 혁신에 미치는 영향을 규명하였다. 또한, 기업의 혁신을 위해서는 정부의 지원과 같은 외부적인 지원도 중요하나 내부적 역량 역시 중요한 요인에 해당한다. 따라서 기업가정신이 제품혁신에 미치는 영향을 파악하였으며, 더하여 비대면 형태의 업무방식이 활성화됨에 따라 스마트워크를 도입한 기업과 도입하지 않는 기업 간 비교를 통해 스마트워크의 효과를 파악하였다. 가설검증을 위한 자료수집은 과학기술정책연구원에서 제공하는 한국기업혁신조사-2020년 (제조업)의 자료를 활용하였다. 또한, 가설검증을 위해 성향점수매칭을 이용해 표본에 대한 선택편의를 줄인 이후 스마트 도입 기업과 도입하지 않은 기업 간 집단을 분류하여 다중회귀분석을 시행하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 기업가정신의 경우 스마트워크 도입 여부에 상관없이 중소기업의 제품혁신에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. COVID-19 재정지원정책의 경우, 금융지원은 스마트워크를 도입한 기업에게만 제품혁신에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤으며 이외에 지원정책은 스마트워크 도입 여부에 상관없이 제품혁신에는 효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 분석결과 기업가정신은 스마트워크 도입 여부에 상관없이 정(+)의 영향을 나타냈으며, COVID-19 관련 재정지원정책은 지원유형에 따라 혼재된 결과를 보여주는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석결과를 토대로 정책적 및 학문적 시사점을 제시할 수 있었다.
