In this paper, we propose a novel motion recognition platform using smart-phone tracking and color communication. The interface requires only a camera and a personal smart-phone to provide a motion control interface rather than expensive equipment. The platform recognizes the user's gestures by the tracking 3D distance and the rotation angle of the smart-phone, which acts essentially as a motion controller in the user's hand. Also, a color coded communication method using RGB color combinations is included within the interface. Users can conveniently send or receive any text data through this function, and the data can be transferred continuously even while the user is performing gestures. We present the result that implementation of viable contents based on the proposed motion recognition platform.

In these days, mobile technology such as smart phone and GPS have an effect on business processes of many companies especially a transportation company. The purpose of this paper is to present the development processes of real time vehicles tracking and intelligent TMS (Transportation Management System) using smart phone applications. The objective of this study is two-fold. The first is to redesign business process of the transportation company. Using BPR (business process re-engineering), we analyze current processes to find opportunities for improvement redefining processes after adopting mobile technology precisely. The second is to develop the real time vehicles tracking and intelligent TMS. Proposed system consists of four parts : (1) intelligent TMS(web system) (2) real time vehicle tracking application for TMS (3) real time tracking application for customer (4) salesman supporting application. Developed system was tested at the transportation company and was found to be an useful system.
According that smart phones have been widely used, their users can easily access various information around the devices through location information services equipped to the smart phone devices. In this paper, we propose a WeWhere which is a system of client-server model for providing the current location among several smart phone users in real time. A client-side smartphone user send to a server his/her current location obtained by applying location information service provided from smart phones and receive location information of all smartphone users connected to the user from the server. The all location information is displayed on a smartphone of a user in client-side and users can track location of their related users. All most 200,000 persons in the world have used the proposed system, WeWhere, normally without overloading of a server system.

To effectively use these functions many kinds of human-phone interface are used such as touch, voice, and gesture. However, the most important touch interface cannot be used in case of hand disabled person or busy both hands. Although eye tracking is a superb human-computer interface method, it has not been applied to smartphones because of the small screen size, the frequently changing geometric position between the user's face and phone screen, and the low resolution of the frontal cameras. In this paper, a new eye tracking method is proposed to act as a smartphone user interface. To maximize eye image resolution, a zoom lens and three infrared LEDs are adopted. Our proposed method has following novelties. Firstly, appropriate camera specification and image resolution are analyzed in order to smartphone based gaze tracking method. Secondly, facial movement is allowable in case of one eye region is included in image. Thirdly, the proposed method can be operated in case of both landscape and portrait screen modes. Fourthly, only two LED reflective positions are used in order to calculate gaze position on the basis of 2D geometric relation between reflective rectangle and screen. Fifthly, a prototype mock-up design module is made in order to confirm feasibility for applying to actual smart-phone. Experimental results showed that the gaze estimation error was about 31 pixels at a screen resolution of $480{\times}800$ and the average hit ratio of a $5{\times}4$ icon grid was 94.6%.

This paper aims to improve the quality of cultural experience by providing a three - dimensional guide service that enables users to experience themselves without additional guides and cultural commentators using the latest mobile IT technology to enhance understanding of cultural heritage. In this paper, we propose a method of constructing cultural contents based on location information such as user / cultural heritage using markerless tracking based augmented reality and GPS. We use marker detection technology and markerless tracking technology to recognize smart augmented reality object accurately and accurate recognition according to the state of cultural heritage, and also use Android's Google map to locate the user. The purpose of this paper is to produce content for introducing cultural heritage using GPS and augmented reality based on Android. It can be used in combination with various objects beyond the limitation of existing augmented reality contents.
Recently, the quality of cultural experience can be improved through a stereoscopic information service provided by the latest mobile-based Information Telecommunication technology without the human cultural commentators, which was used in order to enhance the understanding of our cultural heritage. The purpose of this paper is to produce contents that introduce cultural heritage using the Android-based GPS and augmented reality. In this paper we propose a culture content creation method that is based on location information such as user/cultural anomalies using GPS and augmented reality based on Markerless Tracking. Marker Detection Technology and Markerless Tracking Technology are used for smart phone's rapid recognition of augmented real world and accurate recognition according to the state of the cultural heritage. Also, the Google Map of Android is used to locate the user. The strength of this method lies in that it can be used for a variety of subjects while the existing methods are limited to certain kinds of augmented reality contents.

This paper introduces a Mixed-Reality based Software technology in Smart-Phone Environment. The field of Mixed-Reality in mobile environment is relatively young. but Cause to develop Mobile infra and improvement of mobile device, open-platform mobile OS, the request extended This paper suggest the method for Marker Detection and Marker Tracking method. This method is the one of some kind of a base-technology in Mixed Reality. this method is to effect to location and registration. This paper suggest the method in low CPU computing power. Using a deformable searching area, the method improve computing power. and Using a Cam-shift algorithm, we suggest a calibration free method.

Wearable devices, attached to the human body, track and enhance users' activities, health, and communication. Therefore, considering ergonomic factors in product design is crucial. However, previous research has somewhat overlooked the importance of integrating ergonomic design elements into a broad spectrum of design factors. This study aims to examine the impact of physical attributes inherent in smart wristbands and smartwatches on the perceived functional value, specifically, perceived usefulness, ease of use, and fit. A survey was conducted among 289 US adults who had experience using smart wristbands or smartwatches. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, t-test, MANOVA, and regression analysis in SPSS version 29. The results showed that the shape of the front display significantly influenced perceived ease of use, and the product's weight had a substantial impact on both perceived ease of use and fit. Furthermore, distinct technical features on the front display had varied effects on perceived usefulness, ease of use, and fit. Notably, the presence of activity tracking, alarm, and calendar functionalities led to distinct differences in ease of use and fit. Features such as distance tracking, phone call, social media notifications, text messaging, and time display functions showed significant influences on the perception of fit. These findings provide insights into the physical values of smart wristbands and smartwatches as perceived by users.

In this paper, we develope a detachable wearable device consisting of two parts: main module and accessary module including battery. The main module can display any tracking information and alarms related to the smart phone. In addition, it has small sensors such as heart rate sensor, NFC, T-money, and GPS that can be selected by user's requirement. The accessary module includes battery. The suggested wearable device can also solve the problems faced with today's many other wearable devices: 1) limited battery life 2) the lack of compatibility and expandability due to run on internal components designed for smart phone 3) the design has always been a crucial factor in determining the success of main stream consumer wearable devices.

This paper proposes a method to track the center of pupil and perform the remote control for interface based on the substituted commands according to movements of pupil under smart phone environment. The proposed method, which is a remote control through the movement of eyes, may be helpful for the handicapped people or users who want a more convenient input method. A method based on webcam, which is representative one among the previous methods to track pupil of user, has a few limitations on distance and angle between location of user and webcam. However, this paper uses smart phone that is convenient to carry. The proposed method can perform the remote control through tracking of pupil using wireless network without any restriction on the location of users. Thus, the method is effectively applied for controlling the smart TV that should be controlled on the distance as well as the remote control for PC.
