Purpose Digital platforms, together with the innovative technologies of modern society, are accelerating the digital innovation of the entire economy and society. Although social media platforms are gradually integrated into daily life, due to social media overload, users limit their use of the platform for a certain period of time or eventually choose to stop using it. In the context of social media platform, the purpose of this paper is to study the effects of information overload, social overload and system function overload on users' unintentional avoidance behavior, mediated by fatique and dissatisfaction. Design/methodology/approach This study empirically examines the influence of social media overload characteristics on users' unintentional avoidance behavior of platform utilization using the S-O-R framework. Data from 236 Chinese social media users were collected through a questionnaire survey, and the hypotheses were validated by evaluating the research model using the SmartPLS 4.0 program using Partial Least Square (PLS) method. Findings According to the empirical analysis result, based on the S-O-R model, first, it is confirmed that information overload and system feature overload have significant positive(+) effects on fatigue. Second, this study finds that information overload, social overload and fatigue have significant positive(+) effects on dissatisfaction. Thirdly, fatigue and dissatisfaction have significant positive(+) effects on unintentional avoidance. In addition, social overload has no significant effect on fatigue, while system feature overload has no significant effect on dissatisfaction.
Purpose This study aims to investigate the factors influencing social media users' sharing behaviors of COVID-19 health information. Specifically, we seek to examine the impact of three key antecedents-trust in information source, trust in information content, and trust in social media platform-on users' trust in information quality and determine whether their effects vary between South Korea and China. Design/methodology/approach To fulfill our research objectives, we conducted an online survey across two countries, collecting 408 valid responses (South Korea: N = 201; China: N = 207) for our analysis. We employed Partial Least Squared based Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4 and performed Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and independent t-tests with SPSS 27. Findings The study revealed that perceived risks significantly inhibit users from sharing health information, highlighting the critical role of trust in countering these effects. We also identified variances in the levels of trust in information content and trust in social media platform between the two countries, which offers fresh perspectives for designing culturally tailored public health communications and interventions.

Conclusions: The distribution of cosmetic products, brand trust and promotions have a positive and significant impact on purchase decisions during live streaming on Shopee, and control variables (gender and age 36-45) have a positive and significant influence on purchase decisions.
The technology acceptance model (TAM) is a lot of cited in information technology adoption and usage researches. But TAM has been conducted primarily in volitional environments of the adoption of new technology. This paper discusses technology acceptance in accounting information systems to examine TAM with Characteristics of Organizations and Individuals in mandated using Combined Guard System. Combined Guard System is a scientific guard system that is composed of automated surveillance system, automated sensing system and control system. GOP Scientific Guard System is operated by GOP unit in Korean Army O Division from 2006. In this study, using the extended technology acceptance model, we have analyzed factors which affect the usage intention of GOP Scientific Guard System in mandated using environment. Based upon previous researches, we have selected Support of management unit, Training, Perceived Risk, Subjective Knowledge and Computer Self-efficacy, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and usage intention as variables and proposed a research model. We collected 253 survey questionnaires from Korean army officer and soldier who are serviced at GOP unit in O Division, and analyzed the data using SPSS 12.0 and SmartPLS 2.0M3. According to the results by PLS analysis, According to the results by PLS analysis, Training and Subjective Knowledge did not affect Perceived usefulness, but the other hypotheses were accepted. And Perceived usefulness, and Ease of use influenced the Usage intention. The results of this study will increase Characteristics of Organizations and Individuals on GOP Scientific Guard System and eventually contribute to establishing the activation of Combined Guard System.

This study aimed to explore the factors affecting the foreign direct investment (FDI) intentions of investors into Quang Ninh province, located in the north-eastern of Viet Nam. Researchers used two main methods, namely, Exploratory Factors Analysis (EFA) and the Structural Equation Model (SEM) based on partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS SEM) to explore and measure the impact of factors affecting the investors' FDI intentions into Quang Ninh province. The empirical analysis used data from the survey of 206 domestic and foreign investors into Quang Ninh province, including representatives of the Board of Directors, members, and management representatives at the department level, with reliable tools (SPSS 26 and SmartPLS 3.0 software). The research results identified the following factors affecting investment into Quang Ninh: FDI attraction policies have the strongest impact on the investors' FDI intentions; it is followed by infrastructure, public services and human capital with strong effects on intentions of investors' FDI; and finally the standards of living that affects the investors' FDI intentions. There is also a positive relationship between all the factors and the investors' FDI intentions. Several recommendations are further suggested to enhance attraction of foreign direct investment into Quang Ninh province.
The development of smart devices has affected employees' working environments and their lives. However, using smart devices is causing employees to experience technostress. This study aims to investigate the effects of technostress in using smart devices on usage intention in an organization. Moreover, the study investigates the effect of employees' stress-coping methods on the intention to use smart devices. This study posits familiarity, use innovativeness, role ambiguity, system vulnerability, technological limitation, and ubiquity as the antecedents of technostress. Data collected from 317 users who have experience in using smart devices in organizations are empirically tested against a research model using the PLS graph. Analysis results show that role ambiguity, system vulnerability, and technological limitation significantly influence technostress. Moreover, users take up emotion-focused coping behaviors because of technostress. Emotion-focused coping behaviors affect usage intention in organizations. However, technostress and problem-focused coping behaviors do not directly affect usage intention in organizations.
In this study, we further study the customer's positive emotion about the impact of different inherent service climate on the emotions and satisfaction of the customers who receive the service. Through this, the purpose was to present the direction of creating a service climate. As a research method, structural equation statistical analysis, such as measurement model analysis and structural model analysis, was performed using SmartPLS (v.3.2) for data collected in surveys. Looking at the research results, first, a company's service climate has a positive (+) impact on positive customer emotions: pleasure, pleasure, and happiness. This can be interpreted as an indication that creating a business climate for service is an important factor that elicits positive emotions from customers. Second, a company's service climate and positive customer emotion also have a positive impact on customer satisfaction. Finally, when a company's service climate affects customer satisfaction, happiness has the greatest mediating effect among several parameters. This demonstrated empirically that satisfying the happy feelings of customers is the most important of the company's service climate. Since this study is aimed at a small number of restaurant companies, there is a limit to generalizing the findings and applying them to all restaurant companies. Nevertheless, it is meaningful to study the emotions of positive customers when the service climate affects customer satisfaction, and we hope that the company's analysis of service climate will continue to improve customer satisfaction through various emotional analysis as well as positive factors.
As a way to gather diverse information required for everyday living, the importance of social networks has been growing. Social network services have been spreading rapidly because of diffusion of the Internet, evolution of social network sites, and recognition of the importance of social networks. Recently, the social network service has been evolved based on a new paradigm, Web 2.0, pursuing participation and openness. Following the adoption of Web 2.0 technologies, the social network service allows users to make and maintain new relationships in a more convenient way. Users of the social network service tend to reveal their personal information, and share their ideas and content with other people; in the process they become aware of their existence, feel satisfaction with life and exert influence to others as a member of the society. This study uses higher order factor analysis to analyze factors that affect the intention of using the social network service. A research model was developed with second-order factors including perceived social presence, perceived gratification and perceived social influence. First-order factors are grouped by technical, individual and social factors. Smart PLS 2.0 was used to conduct empirical analysis. The analysis results supported the validity of the research model.
As smart tourism cities are being actively introduced, efforts are emerging to understand the current situation and devise improvements from the perspective of services actually experienced by travelers. This study aimed to present directions for improving the overall service environment of smart tourism cities by introducing the servicescape perspective. It defined servicescape elements within smart tourism cities and analyzed how tourists' servicescape experiences affect their value perception, emotions, and satisfaction. The research model was designed by dividing servicescapes into physical servicescapes (cleanliness, convenience, electrical facilities) and communicative servicescapes (aesthetics and practicality of apps). A survey was conducted on 309 tourists who visited Suwon, a smart tourism city, and analyzed using Smart PLS. The analysis results showed that among physical servicescapes, cleanliness and electrical facilities had a significant impact on the evaluation of tourist destination value, while convenience had no effect. The communicative servicescape, namely the tourism app, had a significant impact on smart tourism value and overall destination value assessment. The tourism app and smart tourism value played a significant role in increasing tourists' positive emotions and decreasing negative emotions, which ultimately affected tourism satisfaction. This study confirmed the importance of tourism apps in smart tourism cities along with the importance of basic physical environments. Through this, it provides useful implications for establishing service improvement strategies for smart tourism cities.
Conceptualization of store image have been suggested in the past by many marketing scholars. The dominant perspective about store image is treated as the results of a multi-attribute model. Store image is expressed as a function of the salient attributes of a particular store that are evaluated. Though, there is a little confusions about what elements compose the store image, most scholars agree that merchandise, service, atmosphere, physical facilities, comfort, and location are generally accepted elements as store image. A considerable researches support that shopping can provide both hedonic and utilitarian value. Hedonic shopping value reflects the value received from fantasy and emotive aspects of shopping experience, while utilitarian shopping value reflects the acquisition of products. These two types of shopping value can affect shopping satisfaction. This study examines the relationships among stores images(store atmosphere, salespeople services, facilities, product assortment, and store location), shopping values(utilitarian shopping value and hedonic shopping value), and shopping satisfaction based on discount stores (E-Mart, Home plus, and Lotte Mart). The author hypothesized that five store image components affect shopping values, and these shopping values affect shopping satisfaction. The author focused on the roles of perceived retail crowding between these relationships. Specifically, the author hypothesized that perceived retailing crowding moderated the relationship between shopping values and shopping satisfaction. The author also hypothesized the direct effect of perceived retail crowding on shopping satisfaction. Finally, the author hypothesized that five store image components affect directly shopping satisfaction. Research model is presented in
. To test model and hypotheses, data were collected from 114 consumers located mid-size city in local area. The author employs PLS methodology (SmartPLS 2.0) to test hypotheses. Data analysis results indicate that among five store images salespeople services, and store location affect utilitarian shopping value. Store atmosphere, salespeople services, and store location affect hedonic shopping value. Two shopping values affect shopping satisfaction. Hedonic shopping value affect more shopping satisfaction than utilitarian shopping value. Data analysis results is presented in
. The author examines the moderating effects of perceived retail crowding between shopping values and shopping satisfaction. Results indicate that there are no moderating effects between shopping values and shopping satisfaction. Moderating effects of perceived retail crowding between utilitarian shopping value and shopping satisfaction are presented in
. Moderating effects of perceived retail crowding between hedonic shopping value and shopping satisfaction is presented in . The author examines the direct effect of perceived retail crowding on shopping satisfaction. Results are presented in
. The author analyzed the relationship between perceived retail crowding and shopping satisfaction using WarpPLS 3.0 which can analyze the non-linear relationship. Result indicates that perceived retail crowding affects directly shopping satisfaction and there is a non-linear relationship between them. Among five store image components, store atmosphere and salespeople services affect directly shopping satisfaction. The author describes about the managerial implications, limitations, and future research issues.
