  • Nowadays, the rapid progress and worldwide use of smart-media(SNS) has resulted in coming of the smart media convergence age. In practice, however, the effectiveness of smart media convergence society is limited by the difficulties of using it, which include accessibility, waiting for loading, clutter, old information, privacy risks, expensive communication, etc. The conquest of these difficulties must be policy target of broadcasting and telecommunication for high quality of communication life. From this perspective, this paper proposes a new policy of broadcasting and telecommunication based on the dynamic quality of life for the smart media convergence society. This smart convergence policy will not promote only the development and production of smart media contents but also its stable supply and it will secure the accessibility and privacy. In conclusion, this paper reveals that the components of quality of life are important elements of broadcasting and communication policies which will eventually lead to the popular use of smart media and enhance its quality.

  • In the past decade, deep learning has been applied to various medical image analysis tasks. Skeletal bone age estimation is clinically important as it can help prevent age-related illness and pave the way for new anti-aging therapies. Recent research has applied deep learning techniques to the task of bone age assessment and achieved positive results. In this paper, we propose a bone age prediction method using a deep convolutional neural network. Specifically, we first train a classification model that automatically localizes the most discriminative region of an image and crops it from the original image. The regions of interest are then used as input for a regression model to estimate the age of the patient. The experiments are conducted on a whole-body scintigraphy dataset that was collected by Chonnam National University Hwasun Hospital. The experimental results illustrate the potential of our proposed method, which has a mean absolute error of 3.35 years. Our proposed framework can be used as a robust supporting tool for clinicians to prevent age-related diseases.

  • Since the increasing use of smart devices such as smartphone and tablet PC improves the quality of convergence of broadcasting and telecommunication, many new media have been created. This smart device can provide personal environments based on user's profile (age, gender, and job) and current location. In addition, it can be regarded as a media platform with two-way communication. This paper proposes personalized message syndication, called PMS, based on smart devices and then analyzes its business and technical issues. The PMS service as a smart media provides consumers customized information and can be used for producer's marketing tools which can lead consumers' heart and participation.

  • Today, the structure of terrorist organizations in the form of a variety of network complexity are evolving. However, terrorist organization not combining randomly generated network but preferential attachment a network. So, it's research should be preceded a better understanding about the characteristics and type of terror network for a effective counter-terrorism policy of law enforcement. In addition, the appropriate response strategy have to technique establish in an era of smart media. In particular, homegrown terrorist attacks on unspecified people without boundaries of countries and regions unlike the traditional terrorism. Also, homegrown terrorism are violence and criminal activity by new various of religion, politics, philosophy. Besides the extreme members of homegrown terror networks went grow up through the evolutionary process in the age of smart media. Law enforcement agencies must identify the terrorist network at the national level. • This study analyzed the domestic and foreign cases of the existing smart home service and grasped the needs of the future smart home service in the future of the Internet of Things. As with all smart homes, the effectiveness of future use is important when comparing needs and random services according to user usability and destination patterns. In order to improve the reliability and to promote the development direction, we conducted a questionnaire survey of 110 people in 20 ~ 30 age group. The survey shows that the reliability of the smart home service is low. The low trust factors include: 1. lack of usability; 2. lack of device recognition; 3. lack of specialization services. Since the smart home service is still in the early stage, various smart home services and ecosystem should be constructed according to user's needs.

  • Korea's cultural content industry can develop into another unique tourism industry. However, since other prior studies focus on the Japanese content industry, this study identifies modern industrial trends by combining the unique characteristics of Korean content, that is, cultural content tourism, and the analysis ability of big data. The current status and direction of the cultural content tourism industry were studied by utilizing the extensive information collection and in-depth analysis capabilities of big data, and as a result, it was confirmed that the trend of the cultural content industry is related to the business aspect of cultural content, not the pure content interest of cultural content. This shows that Korean cultural contents have a strong business aspect. As a limitation, when research design was conducted using social media big data, the age, gender, etc. of the subject analyzed with unique anonymity could not be known. The Korean cultural content industry is expected to be successful in terms of business.
