IoT-based services are being released in accordance with the aging population and the demand for well-being pursuit needs. In addition to medical device companies, companies with ideas ranging from global ICT companies to startup companies are accelerating their market entry. The areas where these services are most commonly applied are health/medical, life/safety, city/energy, automotive and transportation. Furthermore, by expanding IoT technology convergence into the area of life care services, it contributes greatly to the development of service models in the public sector. It also provides an important opportunity for IoT-related companies to open up new markets. By addressing the problems of life care services that are still insufficient. We are providing opportunities to pursue the common interests of both users and workers and improve the quality of life. In order to establish IoT-based digital life care services, it is necessary to develop convergence technologies using cloud computing systems, big data analytics, medical information, and smart healthcare infrastructure.
Currently, electricity consumption and feedback mechanisms are being widely researched in Internet of Things (IoT) areas to realise power consumption monitoring and management through the remote control of appliances. This paper aims to develop a smart electricity utilisation IoT platform with a deep belief network for electricity utilisation feature modelling. In the end node of electricity utilisation, a smart monitoring and control module is developed for automatically operating air conditioners with a gateway, which connects and controls the appliances through an embedded ZigBee solution. To collect electricity consumption data, a programmable smart IoT gateway is developed to connect an IoT cloud server of smart electricity utilisation via the Internet and report the operational parameters and working states. The cloud platform manages the behaviour planning functions of the energy-saving strategies based on the power consumption features analysed by a deep belief network algorithm, which enables the automatic classification of the electricity utilisation situation. Besides increasing the user's comfort and improving the user's experience, the established feature models provide reliable information and effective control suggestions for power reduction by refining the air conditioner operation habits of each house. In addition, several data visualisation technologies are utilised to present the power consumption datasets intuitively.
Over the next 20 years it will begin the exodus from the Internet and smart phones to the Internet of Things. The heart of IoT gives new utility and value with connectivity among things around people to the human. In future, Industrial environment will be intimately connect all among machines and machines or factories and factories in all processing, and by digitizing of all goods and production life-cycle, which is a combination of virtual world and real world, the digital factory will become reality eventually. The proposed IoT or IIoT based Download OTA (Over-the-Air) provides a flexible mechanism for downloading Media objects of any type and size from a network. Moreover, proposed IoT based DLOTA provides a part of security by lightweight encryption, OTP, and CapBAC technique.

IoT management hub has to request the WLAN AP list of the accessible areas in a place that is installed, or choose a specific WLAN AP you want to connect in order to be connected to the Internet. the specific method also is required to input the password when the security key was set. As that way, IoT management hub needs both the display device and the input device to see the list of WLAN AP and to input the security key. If the IoT management hub is consist of them, It is difficult to achieve the objective of the miniaturization and cost reduction. In this paper, we propose a method to connect to a WLAN AP network using a smart-phone without the display device and the input device.

With the advent of Germany's Industry 4.0, research of smart factory to applying the ICT in manufacturing industries is in progress. But the current system controlled equipment using the data declared in the embedded systems. In this paper, we proposed equipment control method to implement smart factory based on IoT. This method is create D/B table of data declared in equipment. and equipment shall call all of control unit parameters. When using the present method, it is possible to efficiently control the number of equipment as less network resource. Also It can operating a factory efficiently.

The smart factory market is expected to show high growth rate in the future, supported by demand for manufacturing innovation in order to overcome structural low growth. Especially in the future manufacturing industry, robots are combined with IT, becoming the most important core technology. In this paper, we proposed and implemented state information classification method for IoT-based robot control in smart manufacturing environment.
Recently, a research on a smart factory was developed from a concept of factory automation(FA) to the formation of collecting and analyzing data. This trend is accelerated as the development of communication technology(5G) and IoT devices are developed in various ways according to the field situation. In addition, digital transformation has been actively conducted in the strengthening corporate competitiveness, and various optimization studies are being conducted through process re-adjustment by combining data received from various IoT equipment and automated facilities. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a system architecture and its related components in diagnosing and repairing facility failure using a prediction system which is one of the related researches.
IoT technologies have been rapidly developed in recent years, and applied to many industries. In the field of fisheries, the water quality management system have been developed, helping in improving productivity and working environment. In this paper, we have designed the smart feeding system, interoperable with the water quality system, using LPWA network. LPWA network is an IoT network, which is appropriate to fish farms because of its wide area coverages and low power consumption. We expect this work to contribute to developing the aquaculture technology through the big data analysis with the accumulated data.
The Internet of Things (IoT) is one of the main enablers for situation awareness needed in accomplishing smart cities. IoT devices, especially for monitoring purposes, have stringent timing requirements which may not be met by cloud computing. This deficiency of cloud computing can be overcome by fog computing for which fog nodes are placed close to IoT devices. Because of low capabilities of fog nodes compared to cloud data centers, fog nodes may not be deployed with all the services required by IoT devices. Thus, in this article, we focus on the issue of fog service placement and present the recent research trends in this issue. Most of the literature on fog service placement deals with determining an appropriate fog node satisfying the various requirements like delay from the perspective of one or more service requests. In this article, we aim to effectively place fog services in accordance with the pre-obtained service demands, which may have been collected during the prior time interval, instead of on-demand service placement for one or more service requests. The concept of the logical fog network is newly presented for the sake of the scalability of fog service placement in a large-scale smart city. The logical fog network is formed in a tree topology rooted at the cloud data center. Based on the logical fog network, a service placement approach is proposed so that services can be placed on fog nodes in a resource-effective way.

With the rapid development of IoT(Internet of Things) technology, various convenient services such as smart home and smart city have been realized. However, IoT devices in unmanned environments are exposed to various security threats including eavesdropping and data forgery, information leakage due to unauthorized access. To build a secure IoT environment, it is necessary to use proper cryptographic technologies to IoT devices. But, it is impossible to apply the technologies applied in the existing IT environment, due to the limited resources of the IoT devices. In this paper, we survey the classification of IoT devices according to the performance and analyze the security requirements for IoT devices. Also we survey and analyze the use of cryptographic technologies in the current status of IoT open standard platform such as AllJoyn, oneM2M, IoTivity. Based on the research of cryptographic usage, we examine whether each platform satisfies security requirements. Each IoT open platform provides cryptographic technology for supporting security services such as confidentiality, integrity, authentication an authorization. However, resource constrained IoT devices such as blood pressure monitoring sensors are difficult to apply existing cryptographic techniques. Thus, it is necessary to study cryptographic technologies for power-limited and resource constrained IoT devices in unattended environments.
