  • Since domestic and foreign platform companies and mobile carriers adopt and use different kinds of smart platforms, developers should develop or convert contents according to each smart platform to provide a single smart content for customers. It takes long time and a lot of money to convert the conventional smart contents in order to serve other smart platforms. For the reason, more attention has been paid on Smart Cross Platform or Hybrid Platform, the core technologies of OSMU(One Source Multi Use) in which, once a program is coded, it can be executed in any platforms regardless of development languages. As a result, PhoneGap and HTML5 based Sencha Touch have been introduced. In this paper, we developed the smart virtual machine, which is built in smart cross platform based smart devices, unlike Android, iOS, Windows Phone devices being dependent of platforms, and helps to download and execute applications, being independent of platforms. the smart virtual machine supports C/C++, and Java language, being differentiated from JVM by sun microsystems that supports only Java language and .NET framework by microsoft that supports only C, C++ and C#. Therefore, it provides contents developers with the environment where they can get a wide range of options in choosing a language and develop smart contents.

  • In the recent gaming industry, the paradigm has been changed with upcoming core-platform as time goes by. Arcade, console, PC online and smart device platforms are representative ones. In recently, the platform is changed to multi-platform which connecting to smart device and other platforms. Besides, the multi-platform without PC is up-coming. This paper suggests that a kind of multi-platform which connecting from smart devices to arcade devices be aware of lack of continuous. It provides a new arcade gaming condition connecting to smart devices, then supplies online network conditions to the arcade gaming machine. The original arcade game was lack of continuous and the game platform was so simple, but now, it could be focused from players by connecting to smart devices to increase the gaming machines' continuity. Furthermore, Bluetooth communication module and wireless Wi-Fi communication module are used to adapt various communication environments. The Unity3D engine would make contents' expandability.

  • Workers' demands for new applications, especially mobile applications, are increasing. Many industry analysts, researchers and corporate executives say the demand for mobile applications is becoming increasingly difficult to follow in the IT department. Gartner predicts that by 2021, the demand for mobile application development within the enterprise will increase about five times faster than IT can deliver applications. The purpose of this paper is to provide an environment where non-developers who are in charge of business development can develop apps and webs for their work. The basic concept of a new innovative App development tool, Smart Maker Authoring Tool is to develop Apps on the level using easy-to-learn Word or Excel in a computer. The main feature is that the app is developed by a non-developer worker. The coding technology is perfectly optimized to the structure and operation mechanism of the IT Infra such as hardware devices and operating system, which are the targets for implementing a desired function. Rather, it shows excellent software productivity. The most important feature of future business development is that it is developed by a non-developer worker. In this paper, we propose a no-code and low-code platform for non - developers to develop their business. In the future, we will link the IoT based Arduino system and artificial intelligent interpretation system.

  • Applications have evolved with the evolution of smartphones, and the search structure is changing as well. In this study, we searched through various cases of cross platform and found out the search pattern and suggested correct usage method accordingly. As a result, the search structure for cross platform can be divided into persistent navigation, temporary navigation, and auxiliary navigation. Persistent navigation is available in a hierarchical structure using springboards, lists, galleries, and top menus. Temporary navigation can take advantage of drawers, toggle menus, and pie menus, while secondary navigation can provide the same experience across platforms using an accordion menu or scrolling.

  • By the rapid development ICTs, education is entering into a smart learning. Learners are put down the paper book, are learning by using a various smart devices, and at this moment emerged that learning system each of which contains numerous platforms. Platform-specific systems require a lot of time and money to applicable to heterogeneous platforms, and This phenomenon is exacerbated if system has a lot of learning contents. Learning system that supports cross-platform is needed for reduce the unnecessary waste of resources and provide effective learning content. In order to achieve this, the research must be preceded by a database model that numerous of existing learning content can be integrated without any unnecessary redundant. In this paper, suggests Ontology-based metadata model that can be integrate existing learning content as an alternative to database, and through this, Design and Implementation of smart learning system that support Heterogeneous platforms.

  • In this paper, we design a 2D one touch runner game which controls on smart device easily using a Unity3D game engine. Unity is the creator of the world's widely-used 2D and the 3D cross-platform game engine developed by Unity Technologies. Also, Unity builds high-quality 2D and 3D games on a various hardware device. This paper shows the familiar character as a cartoon and feels to enjoy using platformer with various game users. we show that the proposed platformer method improve controlling game path on the smart device.

  • WebGL is a cross-platform web standard for a low-level 3D graphics API based on OpenGL ES 2.0 and presents 3D graphics in web browsers without installing extra plug-ins. The reason that WebGL is notable is because it is included in the HTML5 standard which is getting the spotlight as a next-generation RIA(Rich Internet Application) platform for variable devices such as PCs, smart phones, table PCs, and smart TVs. In this research, we would like to introduce and develop a behavior engine for easy and rapid authoring of complicated interactions and 3D object's behavior models in WebGL-based contents.

  • A flexibility-based distributed computing strategy (DCS) for structural health monitoring (SHM) has recently been proposed which is suitable for implementation on a network of densely distributed smart sensors. This approach uses a hierarchical strategy in which adjacent smart sensors are grouped together to form sensor communities. A flexibility-based damage detection method is employed to evaluate the condition of the local elements within the communities by utilizing only locally measured information. The damage detection results in these communities are then communicated with the surrounding communities and sent back to a central station. Structural health monitoring can be done without relying on central data acquisition and processing. The main purpose of this paper is to experimentally verify this flexibility-based DCS approach using wired sensors; such verification is essential prior to implementation on a smart sensor platform. The damage locating vector method that forms foundation of the DCS approach is briefly reviewed, followed by an overview of the DCS approach. This flexibility-based approach is then experimentally verified employing a 5.6 m long three-dimensional truss structure. To simulate damage in the structure, the original truss members are replaced by ones with a reduced cross section. Both single and multiple damage scenarios are studied. Experimental results show that the DCS approach can successfully detect the damage at local elements using only locally measured information.

  • A novel multistage approach is developed for structural model updating based on sensitivity ranking of the selected updating parameters. Modal energy-based sensitivities are formulated, and maximum-normalized indices are designed for sensitivity ranking. Based on the ranking strategy, a multistage approach is proposed, where these parameters to be corrected with similar sensitivity levels are updated simultaneously at the same stage, and the complete procedure continues sequentially at several stages, from large to small, according to the predefined levels of the updating parameters. At every single stage, a previously developed cross model cross mode (CMCM) method is used for structural model updating. The effectiveness and robustness of the multistage approach are investigated by implementing it on an offshore structure, and the performances are compared with non-multistage approach using numerical and experimental vibration information. These results demonstrate that the multistage approach is more effective for structural model updating of offshore platform structures even with limited information and measured noise. These findings serve as a preliminary strategy for structural model updating of an offshore platform in service.
