  • In this paper, we propose IoT based smart CCTV security service to prevent crime in blind spot and prevent unexpected fire or danger. In the proposed method, a RC (Radio Control) car is made using Raspberry pie, and a camera and various modules are installed in an RC car. It was then implemented using Raspbian O / S, Apache Web Server, Shell script, Python, PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript. The RC car provides a security service that informs the manager of the situation by judging the risk of the scene with modules such as video, voice and temperature. Experimental results show that the transmission time of video and audio information is less than 0.1 second. In addition, real-time status transmission was possible in AVG, emergency, and manual mode. It is expected that the proposed method will be applied to the development of smart city by applying it to unmanned vehicles, drones and the like.

  • In this study, we analyzed verbal interactions in small group science learning using smart devices by the level of prior achievement. Four heterogeneous groups at a coed high school in Seoul participated. Verbal interactions during small group science learning were audio- and video-taped, transcribed, and analyzed. Verbal interactions were analyzed at the levels of a turn and an interaction unit. The results revealed that the frequencies of verbal interactions were high in task category, especially at information explanation, information question, and reflection on standards subcategories. Furthermore, the frequencies of high-level students at direction explanation, reflection on standards and progress subcategories were higher than those of low-level students, and the frequencies of low-level students at direction question and information explanation subcategories were higher than their counterpart. In the analyses of the interaction units, the frequencies in symmetric elaborated interaction were high, especially at cumulative and evaluative subcategories.

  • This paper is a research on the design and implementation of a small real-time radio broadcasting system by using smart phone based on Android. It was designed as the server-client structure, and used the progressive download of HTTP as methods of transferring data to further simplify the system. In order to realize the real-time broadcasting, the original audio source was divided with a short interval and captured to be compressed and stored into files. Then the client receives and plays the compressed files sequentially as it is downloaded. However, this method occurs two problems each of which is the loss of capturing the original source in the server and the discontinuity of playing the files in the client. We solved the problem in the server by separating the thread into two parallel threads of which is each captured and compressed/stored, also by using the double buffering method. The problem in the client was solved using MediaPlayer in Android and the file queue to store the multiple files.

  • Smart home with various IoT devices provides convenient and efficient services. However, security is important because sensitive information such as private video and audio can be collected and processed, as well as shared over the Internet. To manage such smart home IoT devices, we use blockchain technology that provides data integrity and secure management. In this paper, we utilize a PoS(Proof of Stake) method that verifies the block through the accumulated stake in the network rather than the computation power, out of the PoW(Proof of Work) block chain, in which the computation for the existing verification must be continuously performed. Among them, we propose a blockchain based system with DPoS(Delegated Proof of Stake) method to actively solve the scalability part, for security that is suitable for smart home IoT environment. We implement the proposed system with DPoS based EOSIO to show realization, and we show performance improvement in terms of transaction processing speed.

  • Recently, the development of the information communication industry has made many changes in the industrial acoustic industry. Especially, it has a great influence on the change of system and equipment of acoustic system. Analog equipment is changing to digital equipment, and integrated control equipment makes it easier to operate and manage the sound system. However, the integrated control system currently on the market is only controllable for some devices. In this paper, we propose a new AoIP - based system configuration method, which enables the operation status monitoring, unmanned operation and self - diagnosis of equipment. As a result of the study, it is confirmed that the proposed system can be operated, monitored, and self - diagnosed at remote sites. It is expected that an AoIP- based sound system will be the industry standard in the future.
