  • The changes to Ubiquitous Network Environment leads existing learning environment to Smart Learning Environment. Expecially, Smart Learning Environment is in changing paradigm existing teacher centered environment and learner centered environment, recently the demand of Smart Learning Environment for learners are growing up. This study analyzed Learning Environments for Smart Learning Environment focused on the learners through analyzing Ubiquitous Network Environment that is concentrated on the physical aspects and the non-physical aspects. Also, we suggested learning several ways that can be effectively applied based on the environmental characteristics of Smart Learning.

  • 최근에 Smart Phone 보급의 급격한 확산에 따라 2012년경에는 국내에서 약 2천만명 정도가 Smart Phone을 사용할 것이며 전 세계적으로도 약 3억5천만대 정도의 사용자가 Smart Phone을 사용할 것으로 예상되고 있다. 이러한 Smart Phone에서 시작된 u-Device 변혁은 Smart Phone, Tablet-PC, Smart TV, Desk Top Computer를 연계한 Seamless 학습 환경 및 최근의 N-Screen 환경의 구현을 가능하게 하고 있다.

A Study on the Establishment of Smart Factory through the Environmental Factors and Absorption Capacity of Small and Medium Businesses (중소기업의 환경요인과 흡수역량을 통한 Smart Factory 구축 연구)

  • Many small and medium-sized enterprises are deploying Smart Factory without due consideration of the circumstances in which the entity is in or outside of the entity, such as environmental changes and the capabilities of its members. Therefore, utilization and effectiveness are also low after deployment. This study verifies 'the establishment of a Smart Factory through the environmental factors and absorption capabilities of small businesses' through empirical research. The survey was received by people working for small and medium-sized companies that have established Smart Factory. The results of the study showed that first, environmental factors within and outside the company had a positive effect on the absorption capacity within the company. Second, the absorption capacity within a company has had a positive effect on the deployment of a Smart Factory. Based on the above proof, it has been proved to be effective if the core areas of the Smart Factory are built on the basis of the company's internal and external environmental factors and absorption capabilities when constructing Smart Factory in small businesses. In the future, we will study the achievements of smart factory construction.

  • The advance in mobile devices such as smartphone, wireless networking, and Internet technologies enables many organizations to improve drastically not only the ways of carrying out every job activity but also their business processes and operations management. As the effort to work smart utilizing the technological change, they are interested in the implementation of Smart Work environment. In this paper we examine several types of smart work and their service scenarios. We also describe the structures of networking and system configurations for building up the smart work environment. These study results may be useful as reference materials for the successful implementation of smart work.

A Study on the Influence of Smart Factory Key Factors on Management Performance through Internal Environmental Factors in Small and Medium Businesses (중소기업에서 내부 환경요인을 통한 Smart Factory 핵심요인이 경영성과에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • This study is an empirical study of 'the effect of the key factors of Smart Factory on management performance through internal environmental factors in small and medium enterprises'. The purpose of the research is to verify that the implementation of a Smart Factory affects the performance of management and contribute to the continued development of the company, and to suggest the national policy of expanding the deployment of a Smart Factory. The procedures were surveyed by working-level officials of small and medium-sized manufacturing companies with a Smart Factory and statistically analyzed with the SPSS and SMART PLS. The results of the study showed that first, the environmental factors within the company had a positive effect on the key components of the Smart Factory. Second, the key factor in Smart Factory has had a positive impact on management performance. The above evidence shows that the key factors in smart factory considering the environmental factors of an enterprise affect its management performance, thus laying the theoretical foundation for the performance of smart factory construction. In the future, we will study how to build a Smart Factory.

  • According to IT development, smart home services is providing remote service, monitoring service and other various services through smart home devices based on network. But, smart home environment exists security threats such as data falsification, illegal authentication and invasion of privacy through a malicious device. Smart home is studying to prevent these security threats, but the studies of smart home environment security are still in early stage of development and the studies of group key management method is lacking in smart home. In this paper, we propose the group key management method for secure device in smart home.

  • In this study, smart environmental management, which is an essential element for building a sustainable city, was studied. Incheon area in the metropolitan area was selected as a research subject, the recent atmospheric environment was reviewed comprehensively, and the main air quality policies of Incheon city were summarized. The smart environment management application cases were organized and analyzed to summarize the results. Based on this study, smart environment management plans for the creation of a smart city in an urban area were suggested.

  • Recently, important information related with smart work such as office and video conference are handled in smart device quite a lot compare with before. Also, execution environment of smart devices is getting developed as open software environment. It brought convenience to download and use any kind of application software. By that, security side of smart devices became vulnerable. This paper will discuss characteristics of smart device security technology based on virtualization that is a mobile device platform with isolated secure execution area based on TEE (Trusted Execution Environment). Also, this paper will suggest an implementation method about safe smart device security platform based on domain separation for application software which can be executed in smart devices.

  • Smart space is a technology that supports humans by interacting with the surrounding environment. Smart space has a built-in dynamic intelligent environment. This paper proposes a framework that provides user-customized dynamic intelligent environments in smart spaces. In the existing research that provides user-customized intelligent services, users' interests are only explicitly analyzed, and smart spaces are not considered. Implicit interest analysis can suggest a service that may be of interest to users rather than explicit interest analysis, but it requires higher performance than explicit interest analysis. Smart spaces can obtain useful information by interacting with information in the space. The framework proposed in the study uses a proximity-based social network of things to fit into a smart space. In addition, the implicit interest analysis provides intelligent information for smart spaces using the social media information and spatial information objects. In addition, we propose a method to prevent performance degradation while maintaining accuracy in consideration of the characteristics of the smart space.

The Analysis of Features of Project Based Learning in Smart Learning Environment (스마트러닝 환경에서의 프로젝트 학습 전략 및 요인 분석)

  • In this paper, we analyzed and suggested an educational strategy and features for project-based learning in smart learning environment. Smart learning environment is different of e-learning environment, therefore the educational strategy for smart learning is needed. In this paper, we conducted project-based learning for elementary school students in smart learning environment, and we analyzed the difference between a normal project-based learning and a project based learning in smart learning environment and suggested the educational strategy and the considerations through questionnaire, interview, and observation, Furthermore, we figured out factors that affected educational satisfaction of student. As a result, students thought that there is difference of smart project-based learning in some factors: technology and devices, software, and participation for learning. Also, we found main factors to affect educational satisfaction are two factors: technology and devices, and always-on.
