  • Internet of Thing(IoT), which is recently talked about with the development of information and communication technology, provides big data to all nodes such as companies and homes, means of transportation etc. by connecting all things with all people through the integrated global network and connecting all actual aspects of economic and social life with Internet of Thing through sensor and software. Defining Internet of Thing, it plays the role of a connector of providing various information required for the decision-making of companies in the cloud computing environment for the Insight usage by collecting and storing Raw Data of the production site through the sensor network and extracting big data in which data is accumulated and Insight through this. In addition, as the industry showing the largest linkage with other root industries among root industries, the mold industry is the core technology for controlling the quality and performance of the final product and realizing the commercialization of new industry such as new growth power industry etc. Recently, awareness on the mold industry is changing from the structure of being labor-intensive, relying on the experience of production workers and repeating modification without the concept of cost to technology-intensive, digitization, high intellectualization due to technology combination according to IT convergence. This study, therefore, is to provide a golden opportunity to increase the direct and indirect expected effects in poor management activities of small businesses by actually implementing and managing the entire process of mold life cycle to information system from mold planning to mass production and preservation by building SME(small and medium-sized enterprises)-type mold life cycle management information system in the cloud computing environment and applying it to the production site.

  • This study investigates regional financial markets and proposes some policy measures for boosting up the regional financial system. Financial supports for start-ups, small and medium sized enterprises(SMEs) in early stage growth have been constrained due to expanded financial gaps among regions during financial restructuring period. The bank consolidation through M&A is associated with widening financial gaps between Seoul area and others, and between regions where regional banks survives or not. Loans to small firms are associated with relationship lending techniques that may be better supported by smaller regional banks. The loan rate to SMEs in locals where regional banks are activated has tended to be 10%point higher than the locals where regional banks closed, and also drive the greater contribution for preventing local capital outflow and promoting local capital investment by local penetrating strategy. Government should develop regional financial policies to boost up regional financial system, and expand the business area of regional financial institutions for supporting start-ups and SMEs.

  • The purpose of this study is to highlight overseas reductions as one of the measures to achieve Korea's 2030 NDCs, and to derive factors to promote overseas greenhouse gas reduction projects. To this end, a survey was first conducted on greenhouse gas management companies, which are the main entities for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The contents of the survey are divided into three categories: awareness of greenhouse gas reduction projects, institutional and technical sectors, and government support and difficulties. Specifically, the perception section on greenhouse gas reduction projects examined the greenhouse gas reduction methods currently implemented or under consideration in the future. In the area of government support and difficulties, difficulties in promoting overseas greenhouse gas reduction projects were investigated. The results of the analysis using the probability selection model are as follows. First, the greater the greenhouse gas intensity, the degree of dedicated manpower, and the larger the size according to the company's business field, the higher the interest in overseas reduction projects. Second, there was discrimination in the method of reducing greenhouse gas emissions according to the size variables of the company, the degree of greenhouse gas intensity, the degree of having dedicated manpower, and the business field. Lastly, in the case of small businesses, difficulties in business promotion due to the lack of greenhouse gas reduction technology were found to be the biggest cause than other problems. Therefore, it is necessary to induce the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by introducing foreign technologies to support greenhouse gas reduction technologies for small and medium-sized enterprises, and to provide support such as training courses for professional manpower and the operation of portals for information provision at the government level.

  • It is not easy to implement an energy management system in an industrial complex where small businesses are scattered, so the method of collecting and adjusting energy-related data is mainly used. FEMS is a system that responds to the demand for a paradigm shift from a passive energy management method to an active energy management method using IoT and ICT. In this study, a factory energy management system(FEMS) is designed for small and medium-sized enterprises located in chemical industrial complexes. Efficiency was confirmed by reviewing energy saving measures and efficiencies through FEMS for the electric energy of facilities built in each company. The cost effectiveness of FEMS is created when it is utilized by responsible and empowered personnel within the business processes of the host company. Therefore, it is necessary to utilize EMS that can be applied to the planning, support, operation and evaluation, and continuous improvement of the energy management system to achieve corporate organization and energy management goals.

  • There has been a growing interest in automation of factories in the country. And, the development in this regard has been actively attempted. In particular, on the basis of the "innovation 3.0 strategy of manufacturing industry", interest in the smart of the manufacturing plant of small and medium-sized enterprises has increased rapidly. As well as policy for building smart plant, technical, seeking a strategic approach. But, in order to introduce such a smart plant or factory automation systems, manufacturing plant security with vulnerability and personal information protection problems, it should always be top priority there. Accordingly, we provide the applicable lightweight secure protocols in RFID communication. It is a wireless communication technology that is most often introduced for factory automation. Our proposed lightweight secure protocol in this study, less the number of calculations in comparison with the existing public key-based and the symmetric key encryption algorithm. And it is fast in compare with the existing protocol. Furthermore, we design that it system can support to low power consumption and small consume the memory size.

  • Crowdfunding recently receives a great deal of attentions as an alternative finance for small and medium-sized enterprises or business ventures that suffer from financial constraints. Crowdfunding is a new form of platform that enables a large number of people to invest a small amount of money for promising new business items directly. We analyzed the effect of type, period, method of projects on crowdfunding outcomes. We measure the outcome in terms of the ratio of the collected to the target amount. We collected data from three Korean crowdfunding platform companies, and the data consisted of 239 projects from 2012 to 2014. We use both logit and ordinary least square method for evaluation. Generally, the amount of target itself has no effect on the outcome. Equity crowdfunding shows higher success rate and better outcome than rewards crowdfunding. All or Nothing method leads to the higher ratio of the collected to the target amount than Keep It All. There is an inverted U-shape between the number of investors and the ratio of the collected to the target amount. Finally, the ratio of the collected to the target amount is decreasing in a crowdfunding period.

  • Prior to the introduction of the CRM, we need to analyze the characteristics and the situations of the company, and should establish a clear vision of the CRM. And each company should identify elements and technologies for introducing the most suitable CRM for them, and optimize them, with long-term perspective. In addition, it requires the implementation strategy which integrates the existing company's routine marketing activities with the concept of the CRM. According to the implementation strategy, the company should improve the business process which is the most effective in investment step by step, and the information system strategy, which develops system investment gradually, should harmonize with it. First, we recognized that raising the company value is important by maximizing customer lifetime value (LTV) by understanding customer needs, and achieving the company's goal through customer satisfaction. Second, we understood that adopting the CRM should be accompanied by changes in the structure, business process and customer contact channels, and it can be successfully integrated with business when it gets proper understandings and attentions of the management. Third, the reality is that there are few cases of successful implementation of domestic companies, and some companies that successfully implement the system mean nothing but implement the solution for developing the CRM. Therefore, it needs to be observed for the long haul, and it seems that we need to approach more systematically to implementation cases for each industry about implementation of the CRM. Fourth, the CRM is no longer the preserve of major companies, and it is the time that medium and small sized enterprises also need it. Taking lesson from Switzerland's small size store merchants who successfully adopt right size of the CRM for their business, for domestic medium and small sized enterprises, the necessity to develop business through developing the CRM models which fit their situations and maintaining relationships with customers has been grown. Fifth, for adopting the CRM business processes, changing or converting the CRM system to the model which fits the company's situation is important rather than applying the advanced company's CRM system model. In other words, the CRM solution which can maximize their own strength by developing the CRM program that makes the most of features and characteristics of the company should be adopted.

  • In order to control and manage oil-tanker scrapped materials and wastes properly, the actual conditions and global trends of the treatment and the management of ship scrapped wastes were surveyed and some amendments to marine pollution prevention law of Korea were proposed. Global annual volume of scrapped ships was estimated to be about 22 million DWT and most of them were scrapped in 4 major ship scrap countries such as Bangladesh, China. India and Pakistan and in minor ship scrap countries such as Turkey, the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam. The industry of ship scrap has been mainly developed in developing countries or undeveloped countries rather than in advanced countries. Most of scrapped ships were found to be small or medium size below 1,000 GRT In Jellanam-Do and Jeju-Do of Korea. Most of ship scrap enterprise and all enterprises of collection, transfer, treatment and disposal for ship scrapped materials and wastes were shown to be small sized in Korea. The regulations and/or rules which shall prohibit or limit trans-boundary movement of overage oil-tankers for scrap from Korea to developing or undeveloped countries, and vice versa should be Included in marine pollution prevention law of Korea. the criteria of manpower and facilities for enterprise of ship scrap, and for enterprises of collection, transfer, treatment and disposal of ship scrapped materials and wastes should be stipulated in marine pollution prevention law of Korea. It is desirable to introduce the system or concept of recycle or reuse of ship scrapped materials and wastes on producer's responsibility into marine pollution prevention law of Korea.
