지원적 상생협력이 안전 분위기, 안전 예방 활동 및 안전행동에 미치는 영향: 중소 물류기업의 안전 품질 관점에서 (A Study on the Effects of the Win-Win Supportive Collaboration on Safety Climate, Safety Prevention, and Safety Behavior: From the Safety Quality Perspective of Domestic Small and Medium-sized Logistics Companies)

  • Purpose: This study aims to contribute to the research flow on the relationship between win-win supportive collaboration and safety, while noting that win-win supportive collaboration affects corporate safety-related factors such as climate, safety prevention, and behavior from the perspective of domestic small and medium-sized logistics companies that have signed contracts with large logistics companies, Methods: Based on responses from 147 small and medium-sized logistics companies, structural equation modeling is performed to examine the relationship among the factors such as supportive collaboration, safety climate, safety prevention, safety behavior. Results: Study results are as follows. Supportive collaboration of large logistics companies influence the formation of a safety climate and safety behavior within logistics SMEs positively. In addition, safety prevention and safety behavior are affected by safety climate in a positive way. Conclusion: Win-Win supportive collaboration is a driving force behind safety management practices in the supply chain leading to safety management performance, so it is necessary to consider it for the growth of the sustainable supply chain.

중소기업을 위한 교육훈련이 고객만족과 행동의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Contribution to Customer Satisfaction and Behavioral Intentions by the Education and Trainning for Small and Mindium Sized Firms)

  • Technological innovation depends on the quality of workers, whose ability is the key component to raise business competitiveness. Our study evaluates how satisfactory is the training of workers at small and medium sized firms, and suggest how to improve upon it. We show the theoretical framework for the relation between customer satisfaction and their behavioral intent on the one side, and factors of training service quality. Our result show: (1) Factors affecting customer satisfaction are, in descending order of importance, expertise, policy, follow-up service, attitude and behavior, and convenience. (2) Contrary to established views on the service quality, satisfaction for training would not be the prerequisite variable for intent to act, in case of training service quality. (3) Satisfaction level for training depends on the type of organization in charge of training (government, university, or private sector.) It also varied among different types of business (L-type, A-type, and J-type.) Small and medium sized firms find it difficult to commit to training education due to lack of money and manpower. The recent expansion of free training service would address part of this problem. On the other hand, the outfit in charge of training could boost service quality by customizing their training program to the type of business they cater to.

중소제조기업근로자의 상사에 대한 신뢰와 조직시민행동관계에서 조직신뢰의 매개적 역할에 관한 연구 (Relationships between Superior Trust and Organizational Citizenship Behavior: The Mediating Role of Organizational Trust in Small-Medium Sized Manufacturing Enterprises)

  • This research examines the causal relationships between supervisor trust and organizational citizenship behavior(OCB) and the mediating role of organizational trust on OCB. Using the sample of 282 small and medium sized enterprises' employees, this study analyzes three alternative hypotheses centered around supervisor trust, organizational trust, and OCB. The results show that supervisor trust has a strong positive effect on OCB. Second, organizational trust is positively related to OCB. Third, this research proves that partial mediating effects of organizational trust exist between supervisor trust(relational trust) and OCB(civic virtue, sportsmanship). Finally, this research proves that a full mediating effect of organizational trust exists between supervisor trust(calculative trust) and OCB(sportsmanship). This study recommends supervisor trust, organizational trust be valued in order to increase OCB vital for organizational effectiveness or productivity in small-medium sized manufacturing enterprises.

  • 현대 산업에서 기업 간 협업은 기업의 생존과 경쟁력 강화를 위해 그 중요성이 부각 되고 있고, 정보시스템의 활용이 기업 간 협업에 영향을 마친다는 연구들은 수차례 진행되어 왔지만 중소기업의 모기업과의 협업 관계에서의 세부적이고 객관적인 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 중소기업의 모 기업과의 정보시스템을 이용한 협업관계를 보다 현실적으로 연구하기 위해 조산, 자동차, 조선, 자동차, 전자 업종의 대기업 협력업체들을 대상으로 중소협력업체들의 IT 시스템 활용 수준 및 모기업과의 협업 지원 수준을 분석하고, IT 시스템 활용 수준이 기업들 간의 협업 지원 수준에 영향을 미치는 것이 업무 영역별로 유의한지의 여부를 회귀분석을 이용하여 검토하였다. 그 결과 각 업무 영역별로 IT 시스템 활용 수준 및 모기업과의 협업 지원 수준이 다소 차이가 나며, 중소기업의 IT 활용 수준이 모기업과의 협업 지원 수준에 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

Competitive Pressure and Business Performance in East Java Batik Industry

  • This study aims to assess the impact of competitive pressure and innovation capability on business performance in small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the batik industry in East Java, Indonesia. Furthermore, this study explores the impact of competitive pressure on business performance through innovation capability as a mediating variable. This research was quantitative using primary data with questionnaire as a method of sampling collection. The measurement of the variables was captured using Likert scale. The respondents were small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the batik industry in East Java Province, Indonesia. The sample totaled 254 subjects. The data analysis was done using SEM-PLS. The results of the study show that: 1) there was a positive direct impact of competitive pressure on business performance; 2) competition pressure positively influences innovation capability; 3) innovation capability positively influences business performance; and 4) innovation capability has a partial mediating role in the effect of competitive pressures on business performance. The findings of this study suggest that managers in SME's batik industry should increase their effort to cope with the high competitive pressure to increase the innovation capability, so that they can have an advantage to face successfully competitors, leading to higher business performance.

  • Case-based Reasoning (CBR) is widely used in business and industry prediction. It is suitable to solve complex and unstructured business problems. Recently, the prediction accuracy of CBR has been enhanced by not only various machine learning algorithms such as genetic algorithms, relative weighting of Artificial Neural Network (ANN) input variable but also data mining technique such as feature selection, feature weighting, feature transformation, and instance selection As a result, CBR is even more widely used today in business area. In this study, we investigated the usefulness of the CBR method in forecasting success in implementing ERP systems. We used a CBR method based on the feature weighting technique to compare the performance of three different models : MDA (Multiple Discriminant Analysis), GECBR (GEneral CBR), FWCBR (CBR with Feature Weighting supported by Analytic Hierarchy Process). The study suggests that the FWCBR approach is a promising method for forecasting of successful ERP implementation in Small and Medium sized Enterprises.

  • The rapidly improving price-performance of wireless technologies is providing an unprecedented platform for the development of wireless applications for the business. Such applications are able to take advantage of a new paradigm of mobility for data services, with the ability to sensitize to location, time and personal features. While big business has been a central feature of wireless implementation, it is now clear that small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are beginning to take advantage of the strategic benefits of wireless data communications. This study examines the state-of-the-art of wireless data services in New Zealand. It provides a survey of 127 current applications in use, as well as two short illustrative cases of application use. The paper rounds off with a summary and conclusions.

중소벤처기업 최고경영자의 기업가지향성이 혁신성과 및 경영성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effect on CEO Entrepreneurial Orientation on the Innovation and Business Performance in Small and Medium-Sized Venture-Enterprises)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of CEO's entrepreneurial orientation on innovation performance and business performance, and the mediating effect of innovation performance on the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and business performance in small and medium-sized venture-enterprises (SMEs). To test the hypothesized relationships, we have conducted a survey of Korean SMEs. After excluding unanswered and untrustful item questionnaires, the final sample size for this study is 110 SMEs. The major findings of the empirical research are as follows. First, CEO's entrepreneurial orientation had apositive influence on innovation performance of a firm. Second, CEO's entrepreneurial orientation was positively related to business performance of a firm. Third, innovation performance had the partial mediating effect on the relationship between CEO's entrepreneurial orientation and business performance of a firm. That is, this result indicates that CEO's entrepreneurial orientation indirectly effects on business performance through innovation performance. Based on these findings, implications of the research findings are discussed, and recommendation for future research are provided.

전문가의 지도가 중소기업의 경영성과에 미치는 영향 (The effects of expert's consulting on management performance in small and medium sized enterprises)

  • 오늘날에는 기업의 규모에 상관없이 생산성향상과 원가절감을 도모하기 위하여 외부의 전문가를 활용하는 경우가 많다. 본 연구에서는 기업지도에 따른 경영성과 제고에 지도위원이 어느 정도 기여하고 있는지를 확인하고 그 역할 관계성을 살펴보기 위하여 2011년도에 제품품질혁신을 위한 지도에 자발적으로 참여한 중소기업 235개 기업을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고 이를 토대로 분석하였다. 수집된 설문조사 자료는 데이터의 신뢰성과 타당성을 검토한 후, SPSS의 Amos를 이용한 구조방정식 분석과 함께 각 연구 가설과 연구모형을 검증하는 방법을 이용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 지도 대상기업의 여건뿐만 아니라 지도위원의 역량이 지도의 성공을 이끄는 요인임을 확인할 수 있었다. 즉, 전문가의 지도가 성공하기 위해서는 지도위원의 성실성, 전문성뿐만 아니라, 회사 여건에 적합한 지도내용이 따를 때 의미가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

중소기업 대출이 은행 자기자본비율과 경영성과에 미치는 영향 (The impacts of Small and Medium-sized Bank Loan on Bank's Equity Ratio and Performance in Korean Banking Industry)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 은행의 중소기업대출과 자기자본비율 및 경영성과의 관계를 분석하였다. 또한 은행 중소기업대출과 자기자본비율 및 경영성과의 관계가 금융위기를 전후하여 유의적인 차이가 존재하는지를 분석하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면 우리나라의 은행 중소기업대출은 은행 자기자본비율과 경영성과에 유의적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 자기자본비율의 분석에서는 모든 분석 결과에서 유의한 결과를 보인 반면, 경영성과 분석에서는 일부 경영성과 지표에서 유의한 결과를 보였다. 또한 은행 중소기업대출과 자기자본비율 및 경영성과의 관계는 금융위기 전후에 걸쳐 유의한 차이를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 자기자본비율 분석에서는 모든 분석결과에서 유의한 결과를 보인 반면, 경영성과 분석에서는 일부 지표에서 유의한 결과를 보였다. 금융위기 이후 은행 중소기업 대출이 은행 자기자본비율 및 경영성과 개선에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 금융위기 이전에는 중소기업 대출이 기본 자기자본비율에 부정적 영향을 미치는 반면, 중소기업 대출이 BIS자기자본비율 및 경영성과에 미치는 유의한 영향은 발견되지 않았다. 그러나 금융위기 이후에는 중소기업 대출이 기본 자기자본비율 뿐 아니라 BIS 자기자본비율 및 경영성과의 개선에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 금융위기를 전후하여 우리나라 은행의 중소기업 대출이 은행 자기자본비율 및 경영성과 개선에 미치는 영향에 유의적 변화가 있는 것으로 진단된다. 본 연구는 은행의 기업의 자금중개기능 측면 및 은행 대출자산 구성 측면에서 중요성을 가지는 은행 중소기업대출을 중심으로 은행 자기자본비율과 경영성과의 관계를 미시적 관점에서 분석하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 본 연구는 은행의 중소기업대출 행태 결정요인, 중소기업대출 기법 중심이 주류를 이루고 있는 기존 은행 중소기업대출 연구에 새로운 결과를 제시할 것으로 기대된다. 금융위기를 전후하여 우리나라 은행의 중소기업 대출이 은행 자기자본비율 및 경영성과 개선에 미치는 영향이 변화가 있다는 본 연구결과는 은행의 중소기업 대출관계 변화 및 중소기업 금융 활성화 등에 유의미한 시사점을 줄 것으로 기대된다.
