일반주거지역에서의 소규모 집합주택 개발가능성 검토 및 모델 제안 (A Proposal of Urban Housing Models and a Feasibility Study for the Application of Small-scale Development in Residential Blocks)

  • The intent of this study is to investigate the feasibility of small-scale developments in residential blocks in the city, and to propose development strategies and models. This research is done on the premises that large housing developments ignore the urban structure of its own quality, whitens on-lot-based multi-unit housing developments fail to maintain amenity and livability in residential blocks. For solving these shortcomings, this research proposes the possibility of small-scale housing development models as an alternative development system. And some residential blocks were selected as case sites and analyzed into typical block types, to support the proposal of pertinent development types. Each type was investigated and discussed in terms of development feasibility and proper development strategies. Finally, three development schemes are proposed as prototypical models for the best application in residential blocks.

  • The purpose of this study is to grasp the foundation and development of perimeter block housing in Berlin. The results of this study is as follows : Perimeter block housing in Berlin have been developed from small laborer house to gradually large- scale housing. The court used for natural lighting and draft, have been developed to a space for resident community or individual garden.

쇠퇴한 구도심 주거지의 개발여건별 재활성화 방법 제안 - 광주광역시 구도심을 사례로 (The proposal of urban regeneration methods for deteriorated downtown residential area, considering the development condition of urban blocks - A case study of Kwangju City)

  • The purpose of this study was to suggest urban regeneration methods for deteriorated downtown residential area, considering the development condition of urban blocks. Through the research that are based on literature, field survey, urban planning map and local experts consulting, it found out suitable sites for development such as a deteriorated residential zone or a unused site and it was deduced eight development types from analyzing the characters of developable sites. And then it is suggested various housing forms which were applied to eight development types of developable sites. The consequences of this research are summarized as follows. There are various housing forms by eight development types; block housing, low rise-high density court housing, medium low rise-high density housing, urban housing for low-income groups belong to T1-development of urban strategic position; block housing, housing on hilly site, semi-detached house, lodging house, urban housing for low-income groups, elderly housing belong to T2-development for living benefit; block housing, low rise-high density court housing, housing on hilly site, low rise housing, lodging housing, urban housing for low-income groups, elderly housing belong to T3-development of a small-scale rental housing; block housing, low rise-high density court housing, medium low rise-high density housing, terrace-house, housing on hilly site, low rise housing, block-typed detached house, semi-detached house, cluster-typed low rise housing, town house, urban housing for low-income groups belong to T4-residential environment renewal development; terrace-house, housing on hilly site, low rise housing, block housing, semi-detached house belong to T5-development of a small-scale housing; terrace-house, housing on hilly site, low rise housing, cluster-typed low rise housing belong to T6-development to adapt natural environment; block housing, low rise-high density court housing, low rise housing, block-typed detached house, town house belong to T7-development for community; block housing, low rise-high density court housing block housing, medium low rise-high density housing, terrace-house, housing on hilly site, low rise housing, elderly housing belong to T8-development of environment-friendly.

Assessment of Scale Effects on Dynamics of Water Quality and Quantity for Sustainable Paddy Field Agriculture

  • Modeling non-point pollution across multiple scales has become an important environmental issue. As a more representative and practical approach in quantifying and qualifying surface water, a modular neural network (MNN) was implemented in this study. Two different site-scales ($1.5\;{\times}\;10^5$ and $1.62\;{\times}\;10^6\;m^2$) with the same plants, soils, and paddy field management practices, were selected. Hydrologic data (rainfall, irrigation and surface discharge) and water quality data (time-series nutrient loadings) were continuously monitored and then used for the verification of MNN performance. Correlation coefficients (R) for the results predicted from the networks versus measured values were within the range of 0.41 to 0.95. The small block could be extrapolated to the large field for the rainfall-surface drainage process. Nutrient prediction produced less favorable results due to the complex phenomena of nutrients in the drainage water. However, the feasibility of using MNN to generate improved prediction accuracy was demonstrated if more hydrologic and environmental data are provided. The study findings confirmed the estimation accuracy of the upscaling from a small-segment block to large-scale paddy field, thereby contributing to the establishment of water quality management for sustainable agriculture.

중·소블록 기반 집합주택 보급을 통한 도시성과 근린성 제고(提高) 방안의 고찰 (An Examination on the Improvement of Urbanity and Neighborship through the Provision of Collective Housing based on Small and Medium-sized Blocks)

  • 우리나라의 전통적 주거지들이 자연과 공존하며 공동체를 형성한 바탕 위에 마을의 풍경이 만들어져 왔다면 유럽의 도시들은 성채를 토대로 길과 블록이 형성되는 가운데 공동의 주거를 위한 거주지를 만들어 온 경우도 상당하다는 서로 다른 역사적 전개과정이 존재한다. 대규모의 주택공급이라는 근현대화의 과정과 함께 우리의 보편적 도시구조는 아파트 단지가 연속된 도시적 풍경이 일반화되었고 이러한 주거유형과 거주방식의 획일화라는 현상을 주거유형의 다변화라는 관점에서 유럽 등의 도시구조에 더 보편화 되어있는 중·소블록 기반 집합주택이 도시성과 근린환경의 향상에 연관되어질 수 있다는 관점을 고찰해본다. 이러한 과정을 통하여 대가구에 기반한 단지형 아파트 이외에 대체적인 방안으로서 중·소블록에 기반한 집합주거의 보급을 확대할 수 있는 가능성과 우리 삶에 매우 큰 영향을 미치고 있는 공동주택의 유형적 변화가 생활양식과의 근원적인 상호간의 관계지음을 어떠한 방식으로 변천시켜 나갈 수 있을지에 대해 의미를 부여해 보고자 한다.

유해 해양생물 해파리 피해 저감 방안 연구 (A Study on the Damage Reduction Strategy Against a Harmful Aquatic Organism, Jellyfish's Bloom)

  • As methods reducing damages by jellyfish which enter the coastal areas of Korea, attaching cutting devices to towing nets of otter trawls or pair trawls and/or using a canvas type of cutting nets of small fishing boats have been widely utilized. In order to reduce shut-down damages of power plants in coastal areas due to the mass influx of marine organisms including jellyfish, a possible improvement of the traveling water screen system and various jellyfish influx blocking devices were suggested in this study. The results could be utilized as an important index for reducing damages by jellyfish bloom which cause on a massive scale in summer in Korea.

한옥주거단지 사업모델구상 및 타당성 분석 (The Business Model & Feasibility Analysis of the Han-Ok Residential Housing Block)

  • 주택에 대한 수요가 다변화되면서 최근 한옥주택 및 한옥주거단지에 대한 사회적 관심이 증대되고 있다. 기존에 한옥이 밀집한 지역을 중심으로한 정비사업 뿐만 아니라, 대규모 택지개발지구등에서도 한옥주택과 주거단지 개발에 대한 시도가 이루어지고 있지만, 본격적인 사업화는 이루어지지 않고 있다. 본 연구는 LH가 공급하는 신도시의 단독주택용지와 특성화용지등을 대상으로 하여 한옥의 잠재적 수요계층을 바탕으로 사업모델을 도출하고 사업모델에 대한 타당성을 검증하여 향후 사업화를 위한 방향을 제안하고자 한다. 기존에 검토되었던 고급형 타운하우스 형태의 한옥주거단지는 입지선정, 수요불일치 등으로 인하여 사업성이 부족한 것으로 분석되었으며, 설문조사 결과등을 바탕으로 계획규모변경, 용도혼합, 필지세분화등의 방법을 통해 사업유형을 6가지로 설정하였다. 사업모델 중에서 가장 사업성이 높은 유형은 블록형 집합주택으로, 이는 규모의 경제법칙(Ecnomy of Scale)에 따른 건축연면적의 증가가 분양수입의 증대로 이어진 것으로 이해할 수 있다. 소규모 한옥과 근생시설이 결합한 공동주택 모델의 타당성도 높게 나타났으며, 블록형 집합주택과 같은 동일한 사업조건을 적용한다면, 한스타일 공동주택의 사업성이 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 그 밖에 블록형 단독주택지내 고급주택 모델은 민간부문이 일반적으로 추진하고 있는 대표적인 사업유형으로서, 1호당 건설비용이 9.1억원으로 가장 많은 비용이 투입되는 것으로 나타났다. 한옥주거단지 사업성 제고를 위해서는 입지선정, 수요계층의 다양화, 주택규모의 적정화, 용도혼합등을 통한 집합화가 필요할 것으로 판단된다. 또한 단독주택용지에 한옥주택을 도입하기 위해서는 기존의 필지계획의 조정과 분할이 필요하며, 한옥형 용지등의 공급을 통해 새로운 수요에 대응하는 전략도 제안될 수 있다. 또한 기존의 획일적인 택지개발방식에서 벗어나 기초인프라(간선도로 및 상하수도)외에 조성되지 않은 자연상태의 토지인 원형지(原形地) 공급을 통한 개발방식도 검토할 수 있으며, 한옥의 지붕 및 가구구조상 1~2층 이상의 건축이 불가능하므로 경사지 형태를 갖는 원형지 공급방식의 단지조성이 토지비절감, 경관효과 등을 감안할 때 적합한 모델로 제안될 수 있다.

Rockfall analysis using simulation techniques- A practical application to, the Mt. Namsan Gyoungju in Korea

  • During the last few decades, the frequency and distribution of rockfalls have been increased in Korea due the development of rock slope in mountain areas. Although the scale of, falling block of rockfall was small, there were some casualties of lives and loss of properties. In order to reduce damage from rockfall, analysis on rock slope indanger of rockfall should be carried out. Thus, the simulation softwares for rockfall behavior analysis have been introduced. In this study, geotechnical investigation and input data for rockfall simulation are described with the comparison among four commercially available rockfall simulation softwares. Finally, rockfall simulation works are described by exmining a case of inaccessible rock-slope of potential rockfall in Korea.

EMTDC용 1차 에너지계 모델(TGOV5) 개발 (The development of TGOV5 model representing a steam turbine and boiler for implementation into EMTDC)

  • In general, the PSS/E program based on RMS mathematical models is used for analyzing the steady state and transient stability phenomena of full-scale large power system. Whereas, the EMTDC program unlike PSS/E, studies the specific reduced small-scale power systems as a basis of instantaneous value mathematical models and used to analyze the Electro-Magnetic transient characteristics. The PSS/E provides various control models such as exciter, governor, PSS models and TGOV5 model but there are few control models in EMTDC. In this paper, we developed EMTDC model for TGOV5 of a steam turbine and boiler which represents governor action, main, reheat and low-pressure effects, including boiler effects. The EMTDC model is developed by examining PSS/E control block and using User Define Model(UDM) in addition to default.lib provided by EMTDC. We verify the correctness of developed TGOV5 model with PSS/E and EMTDC simulation results using Governor Step(GSTEP) method.
