고로슬래그 골재를 사용한 콘크리트 특성에 대한 실험적 연구 (The Experimental study on the property of concrete which used Blast furnace slag aggregate)

  • Several studies have reported that Granulated Blast-Furnace Slag improved the properties of concrete. The Granulated Blast-Furnace Slag could be a good alternative in the shortage of aggregate situation. Slag shows the possibility of influential aggregate and effect of environment preservation. This study presents that the basic properties of fresh concrete using Air-cooled Blast-furnace slag aggregate and Water-cooled Blast-furnace slag aggregate. Testing Factors of this study are concrete slump, slump loss, bleeding, and air contents. The result of this study is below. 1) In case of proportion slag and grave is 50 to 50, the biggest slump value is measured. 2) In the concrete using of air-cooled Blast-furnace slag aggregate, the bleeding capacity is a little. In the concrete using of Water-cooled Blast-furnace slag aggregate, the bleeding capacity goes up to 50% increase. 3) As substitution rate of the granulated blast-furnace slag goes up, air content is increased.

불산 무수석고와 플라이 애쉬를 첨가한 시멘트 페이스트의 유동성 및 응결특성 (Fluidity and Setting Properties of Cement Paste by Adding of Fluoro Anhydrite and Fly Ash)

  • Four kids of powder admixtures(A, B, C, D) based on anhydrite were manufactured by mixing at a fixed rate of II-anhydrite, fly ash and active silica as an industrial by-product. Fluidity properties of cement paste such as mini-slump, apparent viscosity with elapsed time, as well as setting time of cement pastes of these admixtures substituted up to 11wt% of cement were compared to those of cement paste(SS) substisuted by marketed high-strength powder admixture(S). Among these powder admixtures, the fluidity of cement pastes(PA, PC) substituted by A and C powder admixtures manufactured from II-anhydrite and fly ash had an excellent property than that of cement paste substituted by marketed powder admixture and also a good fluidity-retention effect with elapsed time by adding of superplasticizer. The setting time of cement paste substituted by powder admixtures based on anhydrite slightly retarded than that of cement paste substituted by marketed powder admixture.

  • High strength ready-miced concrete with delivering time of about 90 minutes is successfully produced at ready-mixed concrete plant and placed columns and retaining walls of a tall building without any problems. The design strength of the concrete is 450 kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ and the required average compressive strength is 540 kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ according to ACI 363R-84 report with assumed coefficient of variation of 12% For the producing of good quality concrete, many laboratary and field tests are carried out. As the results of this study, the slump loss of high strength concrete is largely influenced by kinds of superplasticizer. The measured pump pressure of high strength concrete with slump of 22cm is higher than that of normal strength concrete with slump of 18cm by about 20~30% The measured average 28-day compressive strength of the concrete is 551 kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ and the coefficient of variation is 2.3%

  • 나프탈렌술폰산 축합물( NSF) 은 시멘트 콘크리트용 고유동화제로 널리 사용되어 왔으나 경시에 따른 슬럼프 손실이 크다는 단점을 가지고 있다. NSF의 단독사용에 따른 이러한 단점을 보완하고자 유동성 유지의 서방성 기능을 지닌 무수말레인산-아크릴산의 폴리카르본산계 공중합체( MA)를 합성하였다. 합성한 MA를 NSF와 일정비율로 혼합하고 시멘트 페이스트에 적용하여 유동성 및 경시에 다른 유동성 유지성능과 유변학적 거동, 재령별 몰탈의 압축강도를 측정하여 물성에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. NSF에 MA를 각각 10,20 wt%씩 첨가한 NM-2가 우수한 유동성 및 유지성능을 보였으며, 유변학적 특성에서도 경과시간에 따른 전단응력 및 점도의 증가현상이 NSF단독 첨가에 비하여 지연됨으로써 시멘트 페이스트의 급격한 슬럼프 손실이 억제됨을 보여주었다. 또한 이러한 특성들은 혼화제의 투입량 및 물-시멘트비( W/C) 의 증감에 의해서도 영향을 받고 있다.

  • In this paper, physical properties of cement mortar for floor using expansion agent are discussed varied with mixing time and curing temperature, delivery time and content of added water for preventing fluidity loss. According to experimental results, slump loss shows high with elapse of time And as curing temperature goes up, it also show high when curing temperature goes up and time lag between mixing and casting increases. As curing temperature goes down, drying shrinkage shows to be decreased. But it shows decline tendency with increase of added water content.

고가도 플라이애쉬 콘크리트의 장기 강도 특성에 관한 연구 (The Long-Term Strength and the Workability of High-Strength Fly Ash Concrete)

  • 플라이애쉬를 혼입한 고강도 콘크리트의 초기 및 장기 강도 특성과 작업성 특성에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위하여 강도 수준이 다른 6종류의 기본 배합을 선정하고 각 기본 배합을 선정하고 각 기본 배합에 대하여 플라이애쉬 첨가량을 0, 10, 20, 30%로 변화시켜 가면서 그 특성을 실험하였다. 또한, 고강도 플라이애쉬 콘크리트의 슬럼프 감소현상을 분석하기 위하여 4종류의 배합을 추가하여 실험하였다. 연구 결과, 제2종 포틀랜드 시멘트를 사용한 경우, 플라이애쉬를 10%혼입한 콘크리트는 대부분 28일 이전에 일반 콘크리트보다 높은 강도를 발현하였다. 또한, 플라이애쉬 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 보통강도 콘크리트의 슬럼프값은 감소하였으며, 고강도 콘크리트의 슬럼프값을 일정하게 유지시키기 위해서는 더 많은 양의 고유동화제가 사용되었다.

시멘트 유동성과 물성에 미치는 영향인자에 관한 연구 (A Study of Effecting Factor in the Reology and Physical Properties of Cements)

  • The reology and several physical properties of cements are studied by varying the different mineral composition and particle size distribution(PSD) of cements with closed circuit ball mill for high workability, low heat of hydration, and high strength. In this study, we found that the workability of concretes is related to the viscosity of cement, and affects to strength. Here, this workability is affected by mineral composition (C3A) and the PSD. Especially, rosin-rammer index and 44${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ residue in the PSD of cements are affected to water demand, casting property, slump loss, strength of cements. From the above results, the conditions of cement for high workability, low heat of hydration and high strength are to use low C3A clinker, 5-10% slag addition, and to grind cement below 0.7 rosin-rammer index, above 3.5-4.5% 44 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ residue, 4000$\pm$100 $\textrm{cm}^2$/g blaine. Such cements are, therefore, supurior to super low heat cement and slag-blended cement in comparing the physical properties of strength, slump, slump-flow, adiabetic temperature, etc.

수중불분리콘크리트에 사용되는 멜라민유동화제 개발 (The Development of Melamine Superplasticizer Using Antiwashout Underwater Concrete)

  • 본 연구에서는 수중불분리혼화제로서 메칠셀룰로스계를 사용하였고 자체 개발한 멜라민유동화제의 수중불분리콘크리트에 대한 사용량을 5, 7, 9, 11 kg/$m^3$으로 첨가량을 달리하여 slump folw, flow loss, 응결사간, 탁도 및 pH, 압축강도, 수중/기중 압축강도비를 실험한 결과 수중불분리콘크리트의 물성이나 경제성등을 고려할 때 수중불분리콘크리트에서의 멜라민유동화제의 사용량은 약 9 kg/$m^3$인 것으로 나타났다.

혼화재를 사용한 고강도 경량콘크리트에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on High Strength Lightweight Concrete Using Compound Materials)

  • This experimental study on high strength lightweight concrete using compound materials has been performed. In which, expanded clay was used as coarse aggregate, and silica fume and fly ash as admixtures varying by 0, 10% and 0, 5, 10, 15, 20% of cement amount respectively were added. Thus, the properties of fresh and hardened concrete have been investigated. The results of this study can be summarized as follows ; Each slump loss of mixtures replaced fly ash has been decreased by increasing replacement rate. The compressive strength have shown 465, 428 and $401kgf/cm^2$ at 30, 40 and 50% of W/B in 28days respectively, all of which have satisfied the criterion $270kgf/cm^2$ of high strength lightweight concrete. The unit volume weight of hardened concrete has been decreased by increasing replacement rate of silica fume and fly ash, values of which have satisfied the criterion $2000kgf/cm^3$of light weight concrete.

  • The development of automobile, vessel, rail road, and machine industry leads increase of foundry production used as their components, which cause a by-product, waste foundry sand (WFS). The amount of the WFS produced in Korea is over 900,000 ton a year, but most WFS buries itself and only 5~6% WFS is recycled as a material in construction materials. In this study, WFS is used as a fine aggregate for concrete. Five types of concretes aimed at the specified strength of 240$\pm$10 kgf/$cm^{2}$ , air contents of 4.5$\pm$1% and slump of 12$\pm$1.5cm were mixed with washed coarse seashore sand(WFS) in which salt was removed and then optimum mix proportion of concrete was determined. Moreover, basic properties such as setting time, workability, bleeding and slump loss of the fresh concrete with WFS were tested and compared with those of the concrete mixed without WFS. In .addition, both compressive strength of hardened concrete at each ages and tensile strength of it at the age of 28 days were measured and discussed.
