국내 국.공립 박물관 기획전시공간의 변화가 전체공간구조에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 뮤지엄내 위상 중심공간과 기획전시실공간의 관계를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Effect of the Changes in Temporary Exhibition Spaces of Korea's National and Public Museums on the Overall Space Structure of Museum - With Reference to Syntactic Relationship between the Most Integrated Space and Exhibition Space -)

  • Since a private museums started in Europe 17C, many private museums established for high-class people like aristocrats to collect and to keep art works and to appreciate for limited members. After the French Revolution in 18C, the publicity became an important social issue through all European regions, and the museum gradually changed into public ones. Like that, as the concept of museum changed, its social role as well as its function was also changed. The concept of collection and display or preservation changed into the concept of exhibition and appreciation featuring the publicity. With the year-round exhibition, a classical concept, the planned-exhibition, a new active concept set as an important factor for a museum's projects. The latter concept embraces new social issues. Therefore as the space for planned-exhibitions reflecting social issues every season was needed, a museum sets its planned-exhibition space with the changeability, and gradually expands this kind of space in size. It is expected that planned-exhibition spaces characterized as the changeability may give some changes on the flow of a museum's overall space, and may have substantial influences on the flow. To recognize the changes in a planned-exhibition space's influence on the museum, this study selected some national, public museums having the planned-exhibition space, and investigated their influences on each museum's overall space structure through the analysis on space syntax. This study assumed the change of planned-exhibition space as the changes in the number of convex spaces, and measured it. And to understand the planned-exhibition's changes on a museum's overall spaces, such changed assumed as the numeric changes in convex spaces and measured them. In addition, the numeric changes's influence on the overall space structure was analyzed by measuring the overall space's average integration level. Through the above two factors, the 3 research methodologies and analyzed results were drawn out.

주목(Taxus cuspidata) 개체군의 구조와 동태 (Structure and Dynamics of Taxus cuspidata Populations)

  • 본 연구는 설악산, 덕유산, 한라산국립공원의 아고산대에 분포하는 주목개체군의 군락구조와 종조성, 개체군동태, 연륜생장을 조사, 분석하였다. 각 조사지별 계층구조는 덕유산과 한라산은 교목층이 없는 3층구조를, 설악산지역에서는 4층구조로 분포하였다. 중요치를 통한 주요 분포 수종은 주목을 비롯하여 시닥나무, 신갈나무, 구상나무, 마가목 등으로 나타났다. 주목의 개체(DBH > 5 cm) 밀도는 한라산지역에서 986.0개체/ha로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 평균 흉고직경은 설악산지역이 42.0 cm로 대경목의 개체들이 주로 분포하였다. 유묘와 치수, 그리고 후계목으로서 유목의 밀도는 357.3개체/ha와 128.6개체/ha로 한라산지역에서 각각 가장 높게 나타났다. 흉고직경 분포에서는 한라산지역의 주목개체군이 역J자형의 유형을 보이고 있어 현 식생상태의 지속적 유지가 가능할 것으로 판단된다. 연평균 연륜생장은 설악산, 덕유산, 한라산지역이 1.27 mm/연, 0.93 mm/연, 0.89 mm/연 순으로 각각 나타났다.

고에너지밀도 캐패시터를 위해 PET 기판에 증착한 TiO2 박막의 특성 (Properties of TiO2 Thin Films Deposited on PET Substrate for High Energy Density Capacitor)

  • $TiO_2$ thin films for high energy density capacitors were prepared by r.f. magnetron sputtering at room temperature. Flexible PET (Polyethylene terephtalate) substrate was used to maintain the structure of the commercial film capacitors. The effects of deposition pressure on the crystallization and electrical properties of $TiO_2$ films were investigated. The crystal structure of $TiO_2$ films deposited on PET substrate at room temperature was unrelated to deposition pressure and showed an amorphous structure unlike that of films on Si substrate. The grain size and surface roughness of films decreased with increasing deposition pressure due to the difference of mean free path. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis revealed the formation of chemically stable $TiO_2$ films. The dielectric constant of $TiO_2$ films was significantly changed with deposition pressure. $TiO_2$ films deposited at low pressure showed high dissipation factor due to the surface microstructure. The dielectric constant and dissipation factor of films deposited at 70 mTorr were found to be 100~120 and 0.83 at 1 kHz, respectively. The temperature dependence of the capacitance of $TiO_2$ films showed the properties of class I ceramic capacitors. $TiO_2$ films deposited at 10~30 mTorr showed dielectric breakdown at applied voltage of 7 V. However, the films of 500~300 nm thickness deposited at 50 and 70 mTorr showed a leakage current of ${\sim}10^{-8}{\sim}10^{-9}$ A at 100 V.

성인 III급 부정교합자의 악안면골격구조 및 치열궁형태에 관한 연구 (CRANIOFACIAL STRUCTURE AND ARCH DIMENSION OF ADULT CLASS III MALOCCLUSION)

  • 본 연구는 성인 III급 부정교합환자에서의 성별, 수직피개도에 따른 악안면골격, 치성구조의 차이 및 치열궁 형태의 차이를 알아보기 위해 시행되었다. 49명의 성인 III급 부정교합자의 측모 두부 X-선 계측사진과 진단모형을 이용하였으며, 측모 두부 X-선 계측사진에서 24개의 선계측 항목과 22개의 각도계측 항목, 12개의 비율항목을 선정하였고, 진단모형에서는 상, 하악의 악궁 장경, 폭경, 전치부 총생, 구치 관계를 계측 또는 계산하였다. 성별, 수직피개도별 t-test를 시 행하였고, 수직피개도에 따른 t-test 결과 유의차를 보인 항목을 대상으로 하여 수직피개도가 0mm보다 작은 개교군과 0mm보다 큰 비개교군을 나누는 다중판별분석을 시행하였다. 결과는 다음과 같다 ; 1. 하악기저골 길이와 전상치조고경을 제외한 대부분의 선계측 항목에서 남자가 유의하게 큰 값을 보였으나(p<0.05), 악간관계, 두개저에 대한 상, 하악골의 상대적 위치 항목에서는 성별 유의차가 없었다. 2. 모형 계측치에서 상, 하악 전치부 총생, 하악 제 1소구치간 폭경, 상악치열장경, 평균구치관계를 제외한 항목에서 남자가 유의하게 큰 값을 보였다(p<0.05). 3. 개교군과 비개교군사이에 상, 하악골 크기항목에서는 유의차가 없었으나 개교군에서 하악각의 증가(p<0.05), 하악지의 후방경사(p<0.01)가 유의하게 있었고, 상악골(p<0.01), 하악골(p<0.05)이 모두 두개저에 대해 전방위를 취하였다. 4. 개교군에서 전하안면고경(p<0.05)과 후상치조고경(p<0.05)이 유의하게 컸으며 이는 하악골의 두개저에 대한 위치에 대해 보상적으로 작용하였다. 개교군에서 전상후상치조고경비(p<0.001)와 전하후하치조고경비(p<0.05)는 유의하게 작은 값을 보였다. 모형 계측치중에서는 상악전치부 총생(p<0.05)만이 개교군에서 유의하게 작은 값을 보였다. 5. 성인 III급 부정교합에서 전치부 개교군과 비개교군을 구분하는 다중판별분석식을 구했으며 분석식에 포항된 항목은 하악각, 전하후하치조고경비, 전상후상치조고경비, FH-NA였다. 위 판별식으로 본 연구대상을 판별한 결과, 전체정판별률은 $92.86\%$였다.

Use of the Quantitatively Transformed Field Soil Structure Description of the US National Pedon Characterization Database to Improve Soil Pedotransfer Function

  • Soil hydraulic properties such as hydraulic conductivity or water retention which are costly to measure can be indirectly generated by soil pedotransfer function (PTF) using easily obtainable soil data. The field soil structure description which is routinely recorded could also be used in PTF as an input to reduce the uncertainty. The purposes of this study were to use qualitative morphological soil structure descriptions and soil structural index into PTF and to evaluate their contribution in the prediction of soil hydraulic properties. We transformed categorical morphological descriptions of soil structure into quantitative values using categorical principal component analysis (CATPCA). This approach was tested with a large data set from the US National Pedon Characterization database with the aid of a categorical regression tree analysis. Six different PTFs were used to predict the saturated hydraulic conductivity and those results were averaged to quantify the uncertainty. Quantified morphological description was successively used in multiple linear regression approach to predict the averaged ensemble saturated conductivity. The selected stepwise regression model with only the transformed morphological variables and structural index as predictors predicted the $K_{sat}$ with $r^2$ = 0.48 (p = 0.018), indicating the feasibility of CATPCA approach. In a regression tree analysis, soil structure index and soil texture turned out to be important factors in the prediction of the hydraulic properties. Among structural descriptions size class turned out to be an important grouping parameter in the regression tree. Bulk density, clay content, W33 and structural index explained clusters selected by a two step clustering technique, implying the morphologically described soil structural features are closely related to soil physical as well as hydraulic properties. Although this study provided relatively new method which related soil structure description to soil structure index, the same approach should be tested using a datasets containing the actual measurement of hydraulic properties. More insight on the predictive power of soil structure index to estimate hydraulic properties would be achieved by considering measured the saturated hydraulic conductivity and the soil water retention.

Structural and electrical properties of perovskite Ba(Sm1/2Nb1/2)O3-BaTiO3 ceramic

  • The structural and electrical properties of $(1-x)Ba(Sm_{1/2}Nb_{1/2})O_3-xBaTiO_3$; ($0{\leq}x{\leq}1$) ceramics were prepared by conventional ceramic technique at $1375^{\circ}C$/7 h in air atmosphere. The crystal symmetry, space group and unit cell dimensions were derived from the X-ray diffraction (XRD) data using FullProf software whereas crystallite size and lattice strain were estimated from Williamson-Hall approach. XRD analysis of the compound indicated the formation of a single-phase cubic structure with the space group Pm m. Dielectric study revealed that the compound $0.75Ba(Sm_{1/2}Nb_{1/2})O_3-0.25BaTiO_3$ is having low and ${\varepsilon}^{\prime}$ and ${\varepsilon}^{{\prime}{\prime}}$ a low $T_{CC}$ (< 5%) in the working temperature range (up to+$100^{\circ}C$) which makes this composition suitable for capacitor application and may be designated as 'Stable Low-K' Class I material as per the specifications of the Electronic Industries Association. The correlated barrier hopping model was employed to successfully explain the mechanism of charge transport in the system. The ac conductivity data were used to evaluate the density of states at Fermi level, minimum hopping length and apparent activation energy of the compounds.

수준에서의 변화에 적응하는 구조모형 (An Adaptive Structural Model When There is a Major Level Change)

  • In analyzing time series, estimating the level or the current mean of the process plays an important role in understanding its structure and in being able to make forecasts. The studies the class of time series models where the level of the process is assumed to follow a random walk and the deviation from the level follow an ARMA process. The estimation and forecasting problem in a Bayesian framework and uses the Kalman filter to obtain forecasts based on estimates of level. In the analysis of time series, we usually make the assumption that the time series is generated by one model. However, in many situations the time series undergoes a structural change at one point in time. For example there may be a change in the distribution of random variables or in parameter values. Another example occurs when the level of the process changes abruptly at one period. In order to study such problems, the assumption that level follows a random walk process is relaxed to include a major level change at a particular point in time. The major level change is detected by examining the likelihood raio under a null hypothesis of no change and an alternative hypothesis of a major level change. The author proposes a method for estimation the size of the level change by adding one state variable to the state space model of the original Kalman filter. Detailed theoretical and numerical results are obtained for th first order autoregressive process wirth level changes.

초소수력발전용 좁은 수로 고정형 수직수차 성능실험 (Experiments on Efficiency of Standing Type Waterwheel with Narrow Canal for Micro/Small Scale Hydro Power Plant)

  • Recently, small scale hydropower needs to be developed due to its clean, renewable and abundant energy resources. However, suitable draft of hydro-turbine body in combination with differences in wheel blade shapes is not determined yet in the range of small hydropower and it is necessary to study for the effective draft in combination with type. Therefore, watermill shaped of 250mm diameter. hydro-turbine aiming 20 watt class generator is adopted in this study because of its simple structure and high possibility of applying to small hydropower. The result shows that effective draft for the turbine body is variable concerning the size of turbine and flow rate of water. Thus, the difference of water depth between fore and aft turbine body contributes to the increase of torque, angular momentum and power output.

Hardware Accelerated Design on Bag of Words Classification Algorithm

  • In this paper, we propose an image retrieval algorithm for real-time processing and design it as hardware. The proposed method is based on the classification of BoWs(Bag of Words) algorithm and proposes an image search algorithm using bit stream. K-fold cross validation is used for the verification of the algorithm. Data is classified into seven classes, each class has seven images and a total of 49 images are tested. The test has two kinds of accuracy measurement and speed measurement. The accuracy of the image classification was 86.2% for the BoWs algorithm and 83.7% the proposed hardware-accelerated software implementation algorithm, and the BoWs algorithm was 2.5% higher. The image retrieval processing speed of BoWs is 7.89s and our algorithm is 1.55s. Our algorithm is 5.09 times faster than BoWs algorithm. The algorithm is largely divided into software and hardware parts. In the software structure, C-language is used. The Scale Invariant Feature Transform algorithm is used to extract feature points that are invariant to size and rotation from the image. Bit streams are generated from the extracted feature point. In the hardware architecture, the proposed image retrieval algorithm is written in Verilog HDL and designed and verified by FPGA and Design Compiler. The generated bit streams are stored, the clustering step is performed, and a searcher image databases or an input image databases are generated and matched. Using the proposed algorithm, we can improve convenience and satisfaction of the user in terms of speed if we search using database matching method which represents each object.

Structural performance of concrete containing fly ash based lightweight angular aggregates

  • The present investigation deals with the production of the innovative lightweight fly ash angular aggregates (FAA) first time in India using local class 'F' fly ash, its characterization, and exploring the potential for its utilization as alternative coarse aggregates in structural concrete applications. Two types of aggregates are manufactured using two different kinds of binders. The manufacturing process involves mixing fly ash, binder, and water, followed by the briquetting process, sintering and crushing them into suitable size aggregates. Tests are conducted on fly ash angular aggregates to measure their physical properties such as crushing value, impact value, specific gravity, water absorption, bulk density, and percentage of voids. Study shows that the physical parameters are significantly enhanced as compared to commercially available fly ash pellets (FAP). The developed FAA are used in concrete vis-à-vis conventional granite aggregates and FAP to determine their compressive, split tensile and flexural strengths. Although being lightweight, the strength parameters for concrete containing FAA are well compared with conventional concrete. This might be due to the high pozzolanic reaction between fly ash angular aggregates and cement paste. Also, RCC beams are cast and the load-deflection behaviour and ultimate load carrying capacity signify that FAA can be suitably used for RCC construction. Hence, the utilization of fly ash as angular aggregates can reduce the dead load of the structure and at the same time serves as a solution for fly ash disposal and mineral depletion problem.
