  • This paper presents a method to design a repetitive controller that is specified in the specified trajectory for the repetitive works. With the single-model design approach, the controller is derived by minimizing a frequency-domain based cost function that produces monotonic convergence of the tracking error as a function of repetition number. Numerical illustrations show how the proposed single-model design method produces a repetitive controller in a single nominal model of the system.

  • We performed magnetic force microscopy (MFM) observation on array of Co dots in order to understand magnetic state and magnetization behavior of submicron sized Co dots patterned on GaMnAs bridge. MFM observations showed the magnetization reversal and processes of local magnetization of individual ferromagnetic Co nanodots. Magnetic state of Co dots either single domain or vortex is dependent on geometrical size and thickness. Transition from single domain to vortex state can be realized with MFM tip assisted local field. Magnetization reversal process takes place through sequential reversal of individual dots. Localized inhomogeneous magnetic field can be manipulated by controlling magnetic state of individual Co dot in the array structure.

  • Frequency domain equalization is the most promising technology that has relatively low complexity in multipath channel. A frame of single carrier system with frequency domain equalization (SC-FDE) has cyclic prefix to mitigate effect of delay spread. After synchronization and equalization procedure on the SC-FDE system, common phase offset (CPO) that can introduce performance degradation caused by phase mismatch between transmitter and receiver oscillators is remained. In this paper, common phase offset tracking in frequency domain is proposed. To track CPO, constant amplitude zero autocorrelation code sequence as training sequence is adopted. By using numerical results, performance of mean square error is evaluated. The results show that MSE of CPO has similar performance compare to the time-domain estimation and there is no need of domain conversion.

  • The Ubiquitous computer environment is thing which invisible computer that is not shown linked mutually through network so that user may use computer always is been pervasive. Intend computing environment that can use easily as user wants and it is the smart environment that user provides context awareness that is wanting computing environment. This Ubiquitous computing contains much specially weak side in security. Masquerade attack of that crawl that is quoted to user or server among device that is around user by that discrete various computing devices exist everywhere among them become possible. Hereupon, in this paper, proposed method that have following characteristic. Present authentication model through transfer or device. Suggest two method that realize authentication through device in case of moved to method(MD: Multi Domain) and user ownself space(SD: Single Domain) that realize authentication through device in case of moved user's direct path who device differs.

  • The mobile user interface becomes important to access information fast and conveniently, especially in the ubiquitous computing environment. Among many new services in the mobile computing environment, ubiquitous information networking service was studied using korean alphabet (consonant or vowel) domain-names including Korean single-character domain-names. Instead of handling long English/Korean URL-strings, as convenient user interface for information access, the Korean single-character/alphabet domain names are more convenient than long URL strings to retrieve information and to send information in the wired Internet as well as in the mobile Internet. We studied the convenience of Korean alphabet domain names with PCs as well as with mobile phones. We introduce the Implementation and the application of ubiquitous information portal, which has the functionality of Text to Speech (TTS) and is accessible with Korean single - character/alphabet domain - names.

  • Domain structures of LiNbO3 crystals grown by Czochralski method were examined according to the growth axis and the rotational speed of crystals. Ring shape and split domain structures were revealed in Z-axis and Y-axis grown crystals respectively. It was found that the domain structures of grown crystals were closely related to the solid-liquid interface shape during growth.

  • In this paper, the necessary and sufficient conditions for strict positive realness of the rational transfer functions directly from basic definitions in the frequency domain are studied. A new frequency domain approach is used to check if a rational transfer function is a strictly positive real or not. This approach is based on the Taylor expansion and the Maximum Modulus Principle which are the fundamental tools in the complex functions analysis. Four related common statements in the strict positive realness literature which is appeared in the control theory are discussed. The drawback of these common statements is analyzed through some counter examples. Moreover a new necessary condition for strict positive realness is obtained from high frequency behavior of the Nyquist diagram of the transfer function. Finally a more simplified and completed conditions for strict positive realness of single-input single-output linear time-invariant systems are presented based on the complex functions analysis approach.

  • Domain structure and properties of LiNbO3 single crystals grown by continuous method (Orr's method) were characterized. It was found that the growth striation of the grown crystals correspond with domain structure and the positive-negative domains were repeated with the perpendicular direction to the C axes. The formation of negative domains were related to the rapid crystal growth rate. The measured dielectric constant of the grown crystal was 140∼150 at 100 kHz at the room temperature and Curie point was 1153℃.

  • This paper is concerned with a reaction-diffusion single species model with harvesting on n-dimensional isotropically growing domain. The model on growing domain is derived and the corresponding comparison principle is proved. The asymptotic behavior of the solution to the problem is obtained by using the method of upper and lower solutions. The results show that the growth of domain takes a positive effect on the asymptotic stability of positive steady state solution while it takes a negative effect on the asymptotic stability of the trivial solution, but the effect of the harvesting rate is opposite. The analytical findings are validated with the numerical simulations.

  • Single-ring all-pass filters with various coupling ratios are designed, fabricated, and characterized to assess the validity of the split-step time-domain modeling approach, which is considered for direct simulation of time-domain characteristics, such as optical delay, of various ring resonator devices. When the coupling ratio of the single-ring all-pass filter is 0.4 and 0.8, the delay time is measured to be about 145 and 42 ps respectively, which is comparable to the time-domain modeling results of 151 and 47 ps respectively. The measurements for two- and three-ring all-pass filters are also found to agree quite well with the simulation results. With these results it is confirmed that the split-step time-domain model could be efficiently incorporated into an optical-communication simulation module for ring resonator delay components in an all-optical packet switching system.
