The hearing aids specific operational amplifier described in this paper is a single-supply, low voltage CMOS amplifier. It works on 1.3V single-supply and gets a gain of 82dB. The 0.18${\mu}m$ CMOS process was chosen to reduce the driven voltage as well as the power dissipation.

In this paper, we investigate an inventory and production system in a three-layer supply chain system involving a single supplier, single manufacturer and multiple retailers. Earlier study in this type of supply chain only consider a single raw material in order to produce single item, but we consider raw materials in order to produce multiple items. It is assumed that the cycle time at each stage is an integer multiple of the adjacent downstream stage. We develop an iterative solution procedure to find the order quantity for the multiple items and raw materials that minimizes the supply chain-wide total cost per unit time of the supplier and manufacturer's raw materials ordering and holding, setup and finished items holding, the retailer's ordering and inventory holding. Numerical examples are presented to show that the proposed heuristic gives good performance.
In this paper, the impact of information sharing, possibly with some delay, on costs in a simple supply chain in which there are two participants, a single retailer and a single manufacturer, is considered. When participants in the supply chain do not use fully integrated EDI, some delay associated with information sharing is inevitable. A mathematical model that allows us to quantify the cost incurred by the manufacturer in the supply chain under information sharing, possibly with some delay, vs. no information sharing is presented. From this model, some managerial implications are gleaned.
This paper presents a power supply for gate drivers, which uses a magnetic resonance wireless power transfer system. Unlike other methods where multiple antennas are used to supply power for the gate drivers, the proposed method uses a single antenna in an insulated receiver to make multiple mutually isolated power supplies. The power transmitted via single antenna is distributed to multiple power supplies for gate drivers through resonant capacitors connected in parallel that also block DC bias. This approach has many advantages over other methods, where each gate driver needs to be supplied with power using multiple receiver antennas. The proposed method will therefore lead to a reduction in production costs and circuit area. Because the proposed circuit uses a high resonance frequency of 6.78 MHz, it is possible to implement a transmitter and a receiver using a small-sized spiral printed-circuit-board-type antenna. This paper used a single phase-leg circuit configuration to experimentally verify the performance characteristics of the proposed method.

This paper proposed a boost input type single stage resonant power supply for driving magnetron device. The proposed power supply can control both input power factor and output power at the same time. Also, because ZVS is achieved using the resonance between leakage inductance and resonant capacitance, switching losses are drastically reduced. To prevent breakdown or moding phenomenon of the magnetron due to excessive starting voltage, variable frequency ignition method is also proposed. Experimental results for the prototype power supply are presented and discussed to verify the validity of the proposed power supply.
This paper presents a novel, single stage, isolated, three-phase switching rectifier capable of switching at high frequency. The circuit topology Provides zero-voltage switching for all switches, output voltage regulation, unity input power factor, all in a single power conversion stage. Operating principle and experimental results in the 48V/100A DC power supply of three-phase single stage method are presented.

This paper is to analyze the cycle time of the vendor in a single-vendor multi-buyers supply chain. The vendor is the manufacturer and the buyers are the retailers. The cycle time of the vendor is the elapse time from the beginning time of the production to the beginning time of the next production. The cycle time of the vendor that minimizes the total cost in a supply chain is analyzed. The cost factors are the production setup cost and the inventory holding cost of the vendor, the ordering cost and the inventory holding cost of the retailers. The cycle times of the vendor obtained with the costs of the vendor is compared with those obtained with the costs of the vendor and the retailers. Various numerical examples are tested if the cycle times of the vendor for both methods are the same.
We consider a two-tier supply chain with multiplicative random yield. We focus on the supply chain performance with respect to the control scheme of determining the production lot size. The profit loss due to distributed control is analyzed to give an insight for devising efficient supply contracts.
The purpose of the study was to find out the rich sources of vitamin B-complexes in Korea. Thirty kinds of vitamin B-complex (thiamin, riboflavin, and niacin) rich foods were selected based on vitamin content in 100g edible portion, single serving size, 100kcal energy content, and 1999 national annual food supply data. The results were summarized as follows: \circled1 Most of the thiamin rich foods selected were fishes: half of the foods selected was fishes when based on the contents in single serving size. On the other hand, about half of the foods selected were vegetables when based on the thiamin contents in 100kcal energy content. A relatively large number of food groups were included such as fishes, vegetables, beans, grains, meats, etc. when based on the contents in 100g edible portion, and national food supply data. \circled2 Most of the riboflavin rich foods selected were fishes and shellfishes, and vegetables: half of the foods selected were fishes and shellfishes when based on the content in 100g edible portion; two-thirds of the foods selected were vegetables when based on the content in single serving size; half of the foods selected were vegetables when based on the content in 100kcal. \circled3 The most important niacin sources are fishes: Most than 60% of the foods selected were fishes when based o the 100g edible portion, single serving size, and 100kcal energy content. Laver is very important source of all 3 vitamin B-complexes in Korea when based on the content in 100g edible portion, 100kcal energy content, and national annual food supply but not in single serving size. On the other hand, rice is rice is sources of all 3 vitamin B-complexes when based on the national annual food supply, but not in single serving size. On the other hand, rice sources of all 3 vitamin B-complexes when based on the national annual food supply, but is not included in 30 rich foods selected based on the content in 100g edible portion, single serving size, and 100kcal energy content. Mushrooms are also very important food sources of thiamin, riboflavin, and niacin when based on the vitamin content in 100g edible portion, single serving size, and 100kcal energy content but not included in 10 rich food selected based on the national food supply data.
In a real-life supply chain environment, demand forecasting is usually represented by probabilistic distributions due to the uncertainty inherent in customer demands. However, the customer demand used for an actual supply chain planning is a single deterministic value for each of periods. In this paper we study the choice of single demand value among of the given customer demand distribution for a period to be used in the supply chain planning. This paper considers distributed multi-echelon supply chain and the objective function of this paper is to minimize the total costs, that is the sum of holding and backorder costs over the distribution network under the service level constraint, by using demand selection scheme. Some useful findings are derived from various simulation-based experiments.
