Flow velocity changes in the shroud system for tidal current power generation due to experimental flow velocities and blade geometry changes were analyzed by hydraulic experiment and numerical simulation. Through the hydraulic experiment, flow velocities at inlet of shroud system and RPM according to blade geometry were measured, and numerical simulation was used to analyze flow velocity changes in shroud. When the experimental flow velocity was increased by about 28% and the shape of the airfoil was applied, the measured flow velocity at the shroud inlet tended to increase by up to about 56%. On the other hand, when airfoil-shaped blades were installed, the flow velocity at the inlet tended to increase by up to 14% compared to conventional blades, and RPM was also the highest at the same conditions. The hydraulic experiment and numerical simulation results showed an error of about 13%, and the trends of the flow velocity changes in each result are similar. Numerical simulation of the flow velocity changes in the shroud showed that the flow velocity tended to increase 1.7 times at the front of the blade compared to the inlet. The results of the flow velocity change analysis in the shroud system obtained from this study will provide the basic data necessary for the development of efficient shroud system for tidal current power generation.

By using commercial flight simulation game engine, X-Plane, we have studied QTG(Qualification Test Guide) generation that can satisfy FTD level 5. Flight model is SR-20 of Cirrus. In list of QTG, There are some items to measure control forces. therefore, we have installed CLS(Control Loading System) to flight control devices in order to make it possible to measure control forces. We made Autopilot function externally to make flight model in trim conditions because X-Plane don't provide internal trim routine function. In addition to develop an algorithm, it can automatically perform the test. To avoid the inconvenience to control as it was to be carried out in same conditions. In case of FTD level 5, it is possible to use alternative data sources not only real flight data. By using these alternative data sources, all test results satisfy a scope given by CFR Part 60.

The development of 3D CAM system for the manufacturing of end mills becomes a key approach to save the time and reduce cost for end mills manufacturing. This paper presents the calculation and simulation of end mill tools CNC machining bases on 5-axes CNC grinding machine tool. In this study describes the process of generation and simulation of grinding point data between the tool and the grinding wheels through the machined time. Depend on input data of end mill geometry, wheels geometry, wheel setting, machine setting the end mill configuration and NC code for machining will be generated and visualized in 3 dimension before machining. The 3D visualizations of end mill manufacturing was generated by using OpenGL in C++. The development software was designed by using Microsoft Visual C++, which has many advantages for users, saving time and reducing manufacturing cost.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how student felt the strengths and shortness of presentation methods for formation of interior spaces. For this study, the process of the interior architecture design class was divided into three stages: the programming. the design development, and the design completion. In the design development stage, students used presentation methods: hand sketch, scale model, computer modeling, and virtual realty. The strengths of hand sketch was that quick expression. Models provided three-dimensional feelings. Computer modelling provide realistic color and texture. Virtual reality provided three-dimensional immersion and real scale. It is effective that students collect brain storm images using quick hand sketch in the beginning of design development stage. After that, they compose interior spaces in study models with small scale. Watching the models, they design details of spaces by using hand sketch and computer modelling. Using virtual reality, they can check the scale and circulation. Finally, they complete computer modelling by texture mapping and check the final design in virtual reality.

In this paper, we will introduce how we utilize 3D design model information at factory automation field with welding robot OLP system which is in using at out shipyard. At this area, so far, most of design information is used in NC data generation for steel cutting, but we can utilize 3D model information at more wide and complex area likes robot welding. Moreover, OpenGL which is a graphic library can be possible to verify robot NC data is correct or not through 3D simulation even if some one is not a expert at robot handling.

Recently, natural disasters like flooding damages have frequently occurred as to typhoons and local downpours affected by the climate changes. Many researches have actively been studied in analysing runoff models, the verification of their parameters, and the inflow on surfaces in order to lessen the damages. However, much time and effort needs in generating input files of the models in most current researches. Therefore, in this paper we develop a system for generating a simulation input data automatically. This system is connected to the EPA-SWMM based on the spatial data in the UIS systems and consists the simulation module for analysing urban flooding and the SWMM simulator module. Also, we construct a prototype using a range of regular inundation to generate a simulation input file. This system gives advantages showing inundation areas based on the map viewer as well as lessening errors of input data and simulation time.
Cloud computing helps big data processing to make various information using IT resources. The government has to start the RPS(Renewable Portfolio Standard) and induce the production of electricity using renewable energy equipment. And the government manages system to gather big data that is distributed geographically. The companies can purchase the REC(Renewable Energy Certificate) to other electricity generation companies to fill shortage among their duty from the system. Because of the RPS use voluntary competitive market in REC trade and the prices have the large variation, RPS is necessary to predict the equitable REC price using RPS big data. This paper proposed REC price prediction method base on fuzzy logic using the price trend and trading condition infra in REC market, that is modeled in cloud computing environment. Cloud computing helps to analyze correlation and variables that act on REC price within RPS big data and the analysis can be predict REC price by simulation. Fuzzy logic presents balanced REC average trading prices using the trading quantity and price. The model presents REC average trading price using the trading quantity and price and the method helps induce well-converged price in the long run in cloud computing environment.

Because data processing systems in recent years are more complicated, main function of the data processing is divided as several sub-functions which are implemented and verified in each subsystem of the data processing system. For the verification of data processing system, many interface tests among subsystems are required and also a lot of simulation systems are demanded. This paper proposes CTHS (Common Test Harness System) for satellite ground segment development which has all of functions for interface test of the data processing system in one PC. Main functions of the CTHS software are data interface, system log generation, and system information display. For the interface test of the data processing system, all of actions of the CTHS are executed by a pre-defined operation scenario which is written by purpose of the data processing system test.
Next generation mobile communication systems have been studied and applied to support various services. In next generation mobile communication systems, the most interested research is the integration of various communication systems and the offer of various services by using high-speed data transmission. The integration of communication systems has been researched by using multi standard modem, while the high-speed data transmission for the offer of various services has been applied by using OFDM. This paper has proposed the method to reduce PAPR by using multi standard modem. with EVM, this paper has also suggested the method to compensate in-band distortion while reducing PAPR. By using the proposed methods, this paper has analyzed and simulated the decrease efficiency of PAPR, the performance of CCDF, and the performance of BER in next generation mobile communication systems. The simulation results improved the performance of next generation mobile communication system can be seen that.
Recently some urban areas have been flooded due to heavy storm rainfalls. Though major causes of these floodings may be attributed to localized heavy rainfalls, other factors are related to urban flooding including deficiency of storm sewer network capacity, change of surface runoff due to covered open channels, and operational problems of storm drainage pump stations. In this study, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of Sutak basin in Guri city were carried out to evaluate flooding problems occurred during the heavy storm in July, 2001. ArcView, a world most widely used GIS tool, was used to extract required data for the hydrologic analysis including basin characteristics data, concentration times, channel routing data, land use data, soil distribution data and SCS runoff curve number generation from digital maps. HEC-HMS, a GIS-based runoff simulation model, was successfully used to simulate the flood inflow hydrograph to Sutak pumping station.
