  • 모델링 및 시뮬레이션(M&S) 또는 시뮬레이션 기반 획득(SBA)이라는 새로운 패러다임이 대두되면서 이에 대한 국내정착의 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 시뮬레이션기반 획득의 합리적인 구축과 더불어, SBA의 추진성과를 평가함과 동시에 추진절차상에 필요한 프로세스들의 개선을 목적으로 하는 모형의 개발이 요구된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 M&S의 개발 및 국방 SBA의 성숙도 측정모형의 기본구조를 제시한다. 제시된 모형의 궁극적인 목적은 M&S 개발 및 SBA의 추진에 필요한 프로세스들의 평가 및 개선으로 볼 수 있다. 본 논문의 마지막 부분에는 세부 모형의 예로써 프로세스 개선을 위한 practice를 제시하여 모형을 구체화를 시도하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 고속의 단거리 탄도탄과 항공기 등의 표적을 탐지 추적할 수 있는 밀리미터파 탐색기의 종합성능 시험을 위해 개발한 HILS(Hardware-In-the-Loop Simulation)와 시험 장비를 설명한다. 이 시스템은 다양한 종류의 표적과 고속, 고기동 이동 표적의 궤적을 모사하기 위해 141개의 혼 안테나 배열, 배열 안테나 스위칭과 이득 및 위상 제어 알고리즘을 이용한다. 또한, 표적에 대한 속도, 거리뿐만 아니라, 클러터와 재밍 환경을 모사한다. 시스템 전체 구성과 표적 운동 모의기, 모의 신호 발생기, 고속 데이터 획득 장치, 통제 제어기 등과 같은 주요 구성품들의 구현과 측정 결과를 설명하였다. 이 통합 시스템은 동적 실시간 탐지/추적에 대한 밀리미터파 탐색기의 성능을 모의 비행 시나리오 기반으로 시험할 수 있다.

M&S 기반 어뢰방어전 모의실험 기술 구현 (The Development of Torpedo Defense Experimental Technique based on M&S)

  • Exploiting models and simulations are encouraged among the defense acquisition society, as now enforced by the Defense Aquisition Program Administration's regulations. They are useful and, sometimes, inevitable especially in an earlier phase of system development. Computer-simulation-based experimentation technique for the system operational performance analysis for a torpedo defense system is introduced in this paper. Problem definition for the torpedo defense system analysis and engineering efforts for models and simulations development are presented here, including defining measures of performance and effectiveness for the torpedo defense system, conceptual modeling for torpedo engagement and defense simulation, design of experimentation, design of simulator and experimentor, and hardware and software implementation of an analysis support tool - a system operations demonstration and experimentation simulator.

  • 무기체계 소요제기부터 연구개발, 시험평가, 운영유지까지 국방 무기체계 획득 전 과정에서 활용하고 있는 국방M&S(Modeling & Simulation)정보를 과학적이고 체계적으로 관리하기 위해 SBA(Simulation Based Acquisition)통합정보체계가 구축·운영되고 있다. 국방 무기체계 획득 전 수명주기에 M&S자원을 적극적이고 효과적으로 활용하기 위해서는 SBA통합정보체계의 효율적인 운영방안이 필요하다. 이를 위해 SBA통합정보체계의 이용현황을 식별하고 운영성과측정을 수행한 결과, M&S자원 활성화와 획득업무 지원을 위해서는 SBA통합정보체계 운영 절차 수립과 더불어 세부적인 제도 마련이 필수적인 것으로 판단하였다. 본 논문에서는 SBA통합정보체계의 효율적인 운영을 위해 국방 M&S 정보관리 현황을 분석하고 국방 M&S 활성화와 체계적인 운영을 위한 정보체계의 개선방안을 제시한다.

트랙터 작업기의 경심 자동제어시스템 (Automatic Depth Control System for Tractor Implement)

  • To control depth of tractor implement, an automatic depth control system based upon microcomputer was developed. This system consists of data aquisition system to measure and to record travel speed, draft and depth of the implement, hydraulic system to control the implement depth and 3-point hitch to attach the implement. Program, written in C language, was able to select position control, draft control and mixed control. To analyze parameters affecting this system, the performance of the system was evaluated through use of computer simulation and verified in soil bin experiments. 3-point hitch was lifted by hydraulic pressure and lowered by implement weight. Dead band was one of the important factors which affect the stability and the accuracy of the system. The system became unstable when the flow rate was increased or when the dead band was decreased. The position control mode with on-off control showed the great ability to control the implement at the given plowing depth. With the draft control, the tractor load could be reduced, however the plowing depth was changed unexpectedly when the soil was hard and inconsistent. The mixed control could improve the performance of the system to maintain the plowing depth without overload of the tractor.

요구성능 기반의 군용 항공기 항재밍 GPS 체계 구축 최적화 방안 연구 (A Study of Optimization Approach for GPS Anti-Jamming System's Integration on Military Aircraft Based on the Requirement of Capability)

  • Global Positioning System(hereafter; GPS) is recently an essential element in the various navigation and weapon delivery systems of military aircraft. However, GPS is vulnerable to the jamming threats since its signal power is very weak. Therefore, ROK defense has been concerning how to resolve this issue and how to integrate these systems needed, and is trying to acquire the proper anti-jamming GPS system. This study is to provide several schemes against the jamming threats effectively. We propose the several processes to analyze the required capability and demonstrate the result's of modeling and simulations(hereafter; M&S) for this integration of military aircraft, and the mathematical programming model for system optimization of military aircraft anti-jamming GPS system on the basis analysis of M&S results which could be considered available budget and the project characteristic. These schemes will be helpful on proper acquisition of these systems and. We are looking forward to contributing to the integration of anti-jamming GPS system of ROK military aircraft.

접적지역 대피소 방호수준 설정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Protective Capacity of Military Shelters in the Contact Areas)

  • Protection against direct projectiles has been adapted just to the main command posts in the existing protective facility standards. However, protective capacity for the shelters against direct projectiles is also required because the initial survivability as well as the operation sustainment of the shelters is critical during a couple of days from outbreak of war. In this study, the Russian artillery is used to determine the existing and future threat of the North Korean Armed Forces indirectly. And then, required protective capacity of military shelters in the contact areas is calculated along with UFC 3-340-02 and it is verified using modeling and simulation. Based on the assessed capacity, actual inspect of military facilities with contact areas on spot is performed whether military shelters have enough protection capacity against determined threats. According to the field study, it is verified that proper earth bermed shelter has enough protection capacity. The results in this study could be used how to retrofit the current shelters in the contact areas.

한국형 고속전철의 주행진동 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Dynamic Characteristics on the Test Line for Korean High Speed Train)

  • Korean High Speed Train(KHST) has been tested on the high speed test line in Osung site of Korea High Speed Rail Construction Authority (KHRC). since it was developed as G7 Project Plan In 2002. This paper introduces the dynamic test devices in KHST and shows the comparison between the results of test and theoretical computing results which derive from the new model for KHST dynamic behavior. Previous computer simulation model for KHST was developed to review wether the vehicle system was satisfied with the dynamic performance requirements during the design procedure. But It should be applied the results of the parts test for suspension elements in order to compare between the results of computation and real test. Using VAMPIRE Program made by AEA Technology in UK. the new model also was modified. This paper shows that the static wheel loads calculated from new model is similar to test results. For test on high speed line, we prepared the test devices for evaluating the dynamic performances. which was consisted of the accelerometers( based on Kisler Co.) and the data aquisition systems (based on National instrument Co.), and test program coded by LabView 6i program. These lest devices and programs are flexible to extension the channels for adding sensors and connect to the ethernet network. The acceleration of car bodies, bogie frames and axle boxes were compared between the results of computation and test at 150km/. This paper shows that the results of test were high in high frequency band range but similar frequency band range. It might be considered that these differences were caused by the test which did not performed at constant speed for comparison analysis. Also. It will be able to understand the differences and make better results through a lot of tests planed in future.
