Ag입자를 이용한 Carbon nanotube 투명 박막의 전도특성 변화에 대한 연구

  • 탄소나노튜브(CNT)를 이용한 전도성 투명 박막은 기존의 산화인듐주석(ITO)보다 가공 공정이 매우 간단하고 제조비용이 저렴하여 다양한 제품에 적용시킬 수 있고, 다양한 기판에 형성시킬 수 있어 새로운 유형의 제품을 만들 수 있는 가능성이 있다. 본 연구에서는 CNT를 이용하여 만든 투명 박막의 전도특성을 높이기 위하여 기존의 CNT 박막에 금속 이온간의 산화-환원 반응을 이용하여 Tin(II) chloride와 silver nitrate로 Ag seed를 형성시켜 투명 전도막 효율 변화를 측정하였다.

  • In the present study, we have evaluated cytotoxic effects of Taraxaci Herba extract on human skin melanoma cells. The light microscopic study showed morphological changes AG-NOR (argyrophylic nucleolar organizer region) by silver chloride stain, and glycoprotein by PAS reaction of the treated cells. Disruptions in cell organelles were determined by SRB assay.

고압 하에서 TiO2 복합체의 거동에 대한 연구 (A High Pressure Behavior Study of TiO2-complex)

  • 자외선 차단기능과 제균 기능을 갖는 합성 $TiO_2$-복합체에 대해 압력의 영향을 체크하기 위해 고압실험을 시행하였다. 복합체 분말시료는 아나타제와 루틸 및 염화은으로 구성되어 있으며, 입자크기는 34 nm 정도로 결정되었다. 아나타제와 루틸 모두 약 14~16 GPa 구간에서 $ZrO_2$ (배델레이트)-형태의 결정구조로 상변이하며, 본 실험의 최고압력인 22.7 GPa까지 상변이는 계속된다. 압력을 모두 제거하여 상압 상태가 되면, 루틸은 ${\alpha}-PbO_2$ 구조로 상변이하며 아나타제는 고압의 $ZrO_2$-결정구조가 유지되는 것으로 판단된다. 염화은의 회절피크는 낮은 압력에서 사라지는 것이 관찰되었다.

인공강우 항공실험을 위한 한반도 기상조건의 예비결과 (Meteorological Conditions for the Cloud Seeding Experiment by Aircraft in Korea)

  • In this study, we investigated the optimal meteorological conditions for cloud seeding using aircraft over the Korean Peninsula. The weather conditions were analyzed using various data sources such as a weather chart, upper air observation, aircraft observation, and a numerical model for cloud seeding experiments conducted from 2018 to 2019 by the National Institute of Meteorological Sciences, Korea Meteorological Administration. Cloud seeding experiments were performed in the seasons of autumn (37.0%) and winter (40.7%) in the West Sea and Gangwon-do. Silver iodide (70.4%) and calcium chloride (29.6%) were used as cloud seeding materials for the experiments. The cloud seeding experiments used silver iodide in cold clouds. Aircraft observation revealed relatively low temperatures, low liquid water content, and strong wind speeds in clouds with a weak updraft. In warm clouds, the cloud seeding experiments used calcium chloride. Observations included relatively high temperatures, high liquid water content, and weak wind speeds in clouds with a weak updraft. Based upon these results, we determined the comprehensive meteorological conditions for cloud seeding experiments using aircraft over the Korean Peninsula. The understanding of optimal weather conditions for cloud seeding gained from this study provide information critical for performing successful cloud seeding and rain enhancement.

  • 원자전달 라디칼 중합(ATRP)에 의해 poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) 주사슬과 poly(styrene sulfonic acid) (PSSA) 곁사슬로 되어있는 양쪽성 PVC-g-PSSA 가지형 공중합체를 합성하였다. 합성된 고분자 전해질막을 10 wt% $AgNO_3$ 수용액에 담가 은이온으로 이온교환을 하였으며, 환원제를 통하여 은 나노입자를 성장시켰다. UV분광학과 XRD 분석을 통해 은 나노입자 성장을 확인하였다. 투과전자현미경(TEM) 분석결과 $NaBH_4$를 사용하였을 때 10~20 nm 크기의 은 나노입자를 얻는데 가장 효과적임을 알 수 있었다. 또한 은 나노입자의 성장은 환원제의 농도와 환원 시간에 크게 영향을 받았다.

코크스제조공정에서 탄화시간과 시료채취방법에 따른 다핵방향족탄화수소 발생에 관한 연구 (A Study on Polynuclear Aromatic Hydrocarbons Emitted by Coking Time and Sampling Method in a Coke Oven Plant)

  • The polynuclear hydrocarbons (PAHs) emitted from coke oven standpipe were sampled using three sampling systems, including glass fiber filter+silver membrane filter, glass fiber filter+silver membrane filter+XAD-2 adsorbent tube, PTFE membrane filter+XAD-2 adsorbent tube, extracted by methylene chloride and analysed by gas chromathography using flame ionization detector. The results of this study were as follows. 1. Because the amounts of coke oven emissions(COE) were large, the analyses of PAHs were simple and possible without evaporation and concentration. Although the generation of COE was high during early stage of coking, the airborne concentration of PAHs was low and increased during late coking. 2. The contents of PAHs in COE were 1.35-2.81%. 3. The index components of PAHs were fluoranthene and pyrene. Their correlation coefficient to total PAHs were 0.96, 0.95, respectively. 4. The particulate PAHs were sampled by filter and gaseous PAHs by adsorbent tube. The collection efficiency of glass fiber filter+silver membrane filter was 20% of total amount sampled by filters+adsorbent and PTFE membrane filter 50%. Adsorbent tube must be attached to the filter to collect light and small PAH components. 5. The generation of acenaphthene and indeno (1,2,3-cd) pyrene were low and concentrations of fluorene and anthracene were $20-40ug/m^3$ throughout coking time. Other PAH eoncentrations were sometimes high. The generation of PAHs was low at 4-6 hours of coking time. The gaseous PAHs were generated earlier than particulate PAHs.

METAL ION RESISTANCE OF THE BACTERIOCIN PRODUCING ENTEROCOCCI

  • Ten bacteriocin-producing Enterococcus faecium strains with urease activity ($1.10-6.2nkat.mL^{-1}$) were isolated from the rumen of 2-8 weeks old calves. All strains were resistant aginst disodium arsenate at a minimal inhibition concentration - MIC $5g.L^{-1}$ and mercury chloride ($MIC=10-20mg.L^{-1}$). Eight strains were resistant against silver nitrate ($MIC=40-50mg.L^{-1}$) and three against antibiotics used. The resistance against six antibiotics was found in A23 strain. Values of adherence index ranged from 5.02 to 20.4 enterococci adhered per one epithelial cell of rumen wall. All isolates produced bacteriocins which inhibited the growth at least of one of five indicator organisms. The EF1 strain with a good affinity to the epithelial cell ($15.2{\pm}1.2$) produced bacteriocin substance with antimicrobial activity against grampositive and gramnegative indicator bacteria.

  • Nanocomposites of metal (gold and silver) nanoparticles and multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) were prepared with the assistance of various stabilizers for metals and MWNTs. Especially common surfactants such as poly(4-vinylpyridine) (PVP), sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), poly(sodium 4-styrene sulfonate) (PSS), and poly(diallyldimethylammonium) chloride (PDDA) were used for the sample preparation. Metal/MWNT nanocomposites were structurally characterized in by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), x-ray diffraction (XRD), UV/Vis spectroscopy. In addition, the electrical properties of the nanocomposites were studied by cyclic voltammetry (CV).

  • Adult male ICR mice were exposed to methylmercuric chloride (CH$_3$HgCI) through drinking water for 80 days. The distribution of mercury in the kidney, liver, spleen and cerebellum of the mouse was examined according to a autometallographic silver-enhancement technique based on a physical development process which renders mercury deposit visible. Grains of mercury traces were located in the proximal convoluted tubules. Lesser staining of the grains was seen in the collecting tubules of medulla. The glomerular basement membrane was void. In the liver, mercury accumulations were present primarily in the hepatocytes around portal area containing interlobular bile duct, artery and portal vein. Also grains of mercury traces were accumulated in the white pulp of the spleen and Purkinje cell layer of the cerebellum.
