The Study on Ancient Embroidered Norigae and Modern Embroidered Norigae. -Focus on the Current Embroiered Norigae in 1990- (유물 수노리개와 현대 수노리개의 비교 연구 (1990년 시중 수노리개를 중심으로))

  • Woman in Choson era had various kind of accdssories like rings, ear ring, ornamentak hairpins and so on. Among them their favorite was the Norigae, the pendent trinket. With the embroidered ornament at its center, beads and knots were attached to the upper and lower part, and it was hung with a tassel. It was carried on the string of the Chogori. norigae oreginated in waist string of Three Countries era(Sills, Paekje and Koguryo) ; had been changed with the development of fashion, embroidery and the influence of Buddhistic culture. The differences between Embroidered Norigae and Norigae are following. If the ornament at its center is made of such jewels as gold, silver, jade and the like, it is called Norigae. But if the ornament at its center is made of the embroidered Norigae. Such a Embroidered Norigae in which perfume was contained, was as a perfume box or a perfume bag and was carried on the strings of Chogori by Danjak(single work). The Differences between ancient Embroidered Norigae of late Choson era and modern Embroidered Norigae are Following; 1) The type of main body-the embroidered ornament at its center was mainly embroidered with the shape of animals in both of ancient Embroidered Norigae was usually formes like a bat and that of modern Embroidered Norigae like butterfly. 2) plants were adapted as the main design of ancient Embroidered Norigae, but plants and animals as that of modern Embroidered Norigae. 3) The colors of the background and the design are usually red in both ancient and modern Embroidered norigae. 4) The tassels of ancient Embroidered Norigae were mode in the shape of srick and a strawberry. but the tassels of modern Embroidered Norigae were mainly made in the shape of a stick. 5) Nowadays the beauty of external form is considered more important while the symbol of main body was considered more important in Choson era. 6) The role of Thidon in the composition of Embroidered Norigae is declined and a lot of main bodies are used in modern Embroidered Norigae. 7) Modern Korean people are apt to choose Embroidered Norigae depending upon the design of main body and the traditional Korean beauty. 8) Modern people who desire to get new thing, try to make the design of main body various.   • Recently, many studies have reported the fact that an excessively accumulated psychological and physical burden induced from physical labor conducted routinely in home and industry can be one of main reasons of musculoskeletal disorders in the working population. This fact makes increase interests in studies to reduce a risk of musculoskeletal disorders through grafting ergonomic considerations on working environment. However, there are currently limited methodologies in quantitative evaluations of new ergonomic suggestions to reduce a risk of musculoskeletal disorders. The current study is therefore performed to evaluate quantitatively effects of a design of washing machine as a new ergonomic suggestion onto prevention of musculoskeletal disorders, through application of a biomechanical evaluation methodology. For this, three-dimensional motion analysis by using musculoskeletal models with Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA), which has been generally used for a simple evaluation of a degree of harmfulness of the human body at specific working postures to be considered, was performed. The results of REBA did not give us enough information and their results were somewhat simple and inaccurate, but the results of the three-dimensional motion analysis give us enough information such as alteration of main muscle forces and joint moments required during washing work. All results showed that the main muscle strengths and joint moments were decreased effectively for reduction of a risk of musculoskeletal disorders during the washing work with newly designed washing machine evaluated in the current study, compared with those generated during the washing work with general washing machine. From these results, it can be concluded that a risk of the musculoskeletal disorders, which may be induced by a repetitive washing work, may be reduced through using the washing machine designed ergonomically and newly. Also, it is thought that if our ergonomic design can be applied for improvement of working environment in lifting and laying works conducted repeatedly for a treatment work of goods, which have a strong resemblance to the behaviors generated frequently during the washing work, a possibility of occurrence of the musculoskeletal disorders by the lifting and laying works may be reduced highly.

  • Recently, the micro bonding technology comes into the spotlight as the miniaturization of the electronic product. The micro bonding technique can classify by way of laser welding and ultrasonic bonding and etc. However, the research on the micro bonding is much lacks. In this paper, carried out the cooling analysis of the 60 [kHz] ultrasonic bonding equipment to know heat effect of the piezoelectric element when the ultrasonic bonding equipment was operated. The ultrasonic horn having the natural frequency with 60 [kHz] for the dissimilar material bonding of the glass and solder tried to be designed. The parameters and response was set through the basic experiment. The dissimilar material bonding strength analysis using the 60 [kHz] ultrasonic bonding equipment was done. We carried out the bonding for improving bonding strength to using the silver paste. air thightness of bonding surface was confirmed by analysis of bonding interfaces.

A Study on Historical Research for Costume of Banya(般若) in King Gongmin's Period of Late Goryeo - Focused on the Buddhist Service Costume - (고려 말 공민왕 재위기의 반야(般若) 복식 고증요소 고찰 - 불교법회 복식을 중심으로 -)

  • Banya was a concubine slave of Shindon(辛旽) who was a powerful monk in late Goryeo Dynasty, as well as the mother of King Woo(禑王), a successor of King Gongmin(恭愍王). This study was undertaken to investigate the sources of costume for Banya. The study focused on the features of Buddhist service costume, street wear, and daywear for common women's costume during the prime age of the Buddhist culture. The study looked into Buddhist paintings, old documents, advanced research, and relics. There are three characteristics of historically investigated Buddhist service costume for Banya: Dallyeongpo(團領袍), long Jeogori made with black Ra(羅), and Jeogori with a long scarf. Skirt, under Jeogori, under skirt, Cho, Ra(羅), Neung (綾), Dan(緞), patterned ramie(紋紵), and Tapja(塔子) were included in all Buddhist service costume. And, street wear consisted of Women's Dapho(婦人搭忽), long Jeogori, skirt, underwear and black Ra beil(蒙首). Daywear consisted of Banbi(半臂), long Jeogori, and skirt, underwear made with cheap fabric, Ju(綢), ramie, and imported cotton. Plumper hair, silver comb and Biyeo, lining of light pink-colored thin silk(小紅薄絹), bronze openworked ornament that fixed the outerwear's opening, bronze needle case, Sutra box and heated gemstone could be matched for the Buddhist service costume. Bronze and heated gemstone could be used for ornaments of street wear and daywear. The investigation of ornaments was carried on by referring to presentation of overseas collections. Considering the limitation of the study on Goryeo costume due to the lack of research material, future studies including much more relics in oversea collections needs to be undertaken.

Microwave Dielectric Properties of Ti-Te system Ceramics for Triplexer Filter

  • In this study, the compositions for the microwave dielectric materials were investigated to obtain the improved dielectric properties, the high temperature stability, and the sintering temperature of less than $900^{\circ}C$, which was necessary for cofiring with the internal conductor of silver. In addition, the dielectric sheets were prepared by the tape casting technique, after which the sheets were laminated and sintered. In this process, the optimum ratio of powder and binder, laminating pressure, temperature, and possibility for cofiring with the internal conductor were studied. Finally, multilayer chip treplexer filter for the 800-2,000 MHz range were fabricated, and the frequency characteristics of the triplexer filter were investigated. When the $0.6TiTe_3O_8-0.4MgTiO_3+3wt%SnO+7wt%H_3BO_3$ ceramics were sintered at $820^{\circ}C$ for 0.3 hours, the microwave dielectric properties of the dielectric constant of 29.91, quality factor of 33,000 GHz, and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency of -2.76 ppm/$^{\circ}C$ were obtained. Using the Advanced Design System (ADS) and High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS), the multilayer chip triplexer filter acting at the range of 800-2,000 MHz were simulated and manufactured. The manufactured triplexer filter had the excellent frequency properties in the CDAM800, GPS and PCS frequency regions, respectively.

  • In the 60's to 70's, frame selection was a purely mechanical consideration almost entirely dominated by the optician and his subjective judgments. Toddy the cosmetic factor is predominant. The variety of frame color, materials, and style means that the main burden of selection has passed to the customer, leaving the optician control a subtle factor often difficult to exert. Common materials include nickel silver, Hi-nickel alloy, bronze, stainless steel, gold, gold plated, gold clad, copper beryllium, titanium and sometimes aluminium. In manufacturing of metal frames with the materials, even though fashion is the stimulant of consumer demand, all the metal frame for the prescription to refractive correction should be designed correctly styled eyewear which is cosmetically pleasing, functional correct, physically comfortable, mechanically and structurally perfectible, and temperamentally acceptable.

  • Purpose - The potential for small businesses in the distribution sector to contribute to socio-economic development remains largely inert due to a litany of challenges that they face. Incubators have emerged as the 'silver bullet' for most of the problems but the extent to which they are effectively helping small business overcome their challenges remains debatable. This study seeks to determine the core reasons why respondents enrolled in an incubator, the essence of the incubator and the extent to which the incubator performance is satisfactory. Research design, data, and methodology - A positivist philosophical approach was adopted for the study. This quantitative study used a survey method to collect data from incubatees in a cross-sectional manner. The data were subsequently analysed to generate necessary insights. Results - Results reveal that the gender composition of incubatees is severely skewed in favour of males. Also, most incubatees enrolled in the incubators with a hope that it would ease their pathway to big businesses, financiers and business registration institutions, and it is not. Conclusion - Incubators are mostly inward-looking and are adept at offering training interventions. To improve the effectiveness of incubators, it is necessary to invest efforts in attracting more females and building networks with key external stakeholders that could possibly assist the incubatees establish and grow their businesses.

  • Popular music unites people who have different genders, ages, locals, and values. Through the popular music, youth interchange their emotion and create their fashion. Fashion and music formed the twin pillars on which the first historically significant youth sub-culture was built. Glam rock and Punk rock which won popularity in the 1970s influenced the fashion of the times. The purpose of this study is to compare Glam and Punk make-up which appeared as a symbol of the rebel against an older generation. The methodology utilized in this study was the analysis of materials from the survey through the literature, internet sites, and visual references. The results of this study are as follows: In face make-up, Glam used a white base to appear cosmic; on the other hand, Punk used a white base to appear pale and horrid. In eye make-up, Glam used black, pink, and blue eye shadow, and accented the eye by using black eye lines. Punk used black eye shadow, and drew black circles or squares around eyes. In lip make-up, Glam used pink, purple, red, and black lip color and silver and pink lip gloss to glitter. Punk used red and black lip color to appear horrid. In body make-up, Glam used glitter powder to appear with a bright skin. Punk drew tattoos and horror patterns in their body. The common themes of Glam and Punk make-up were rebellion, androgyny, and the beauty of ugliness as well as a self-created persona.

Relationship between Sleep and Mental Health in Middle School Female Students (여중생의 수면과 정신건강의 상호관련성)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between sleep and mental health in middle school female students. Methods: For this purpose, We analyzed the data of 15,477 for middle school female students among the 2016 Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey by multiple logistic regression based on the complex sample design. Results: Sleep duration of middle school female students in Korea were significantly associated with perceived stress, depressive experience, and suicidal idea, and subjective sleep satisfaction were significantly associated with perceived stress, depressive experience in results of multiple logistic regression. Conclusion: Sleep duration and subjective sleep satisfaction have a significant impact on the mental health of middle school female students. Therefore, in-depth research and policies to mental health of middle school female students through sleep duration and subjective sleep satisfaction increase are required.
