  • Wearable sensors designed for strain, pressure, and temperature measurements are essential for monitoring human movements, health status, physiological data, and responses to external stimuli. Notably, recent research has led to the development of high-performance wearable sensors using innovative materials and device structures that exhibit ultra-high sensitivity compared with their commercial counterparts. However, the quest for accurate sensing has identified a critical challenge. Specifically, the mechanical flexibility of the substrates in wearable sensors can introduce interference signals, particularly when subjected to varying external stimuli and environmental conditions, potentially resulting in signal crosstalk and compromised data fidelity. Consequently, the pursuit of non-interference sensing technology is pivotal for enabling independent measurements of concurrent input signals related to strain, pressure, and temperature, ensuring precise signal acquisition. In this comprehensive review, we present an overview of the recent advances in noninterference sensing strategies. We explore various fabrication methods for sensing strain, pressure, and temperature, emphasizing the use of hybrid composite materials with distinct mechanical properties. This review contributes to the understanding of critical developments in wearable sensor technology that are vital for their ongoing application and evolution in numerous fields.

  • In this paper, the effect of Near-Far Problem (NFP) among distributed nodes in OFDMA-based Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs) is analyzed by investigating statistical characteristics of Time Difference of Arrival (TDoA) and Desired-to-Undesired power Ratio (DUR). In order to overcome the effects of Inter-Symbol Interference (ISI), Inter-Carrier Interference (ICI), and Inter Link Interference (ILI), caused by TDoA in WMNs, we derive effective SINR for each subcarrier, and then, propose the optimal starting point of FFT window which can minimize BER for each subcarrier. In addition, we propose a subcarrier-based Zero Forcing - 2 Dimensional Ordered Successive Interference Cancellation (ZF-2DOSIC) technique for signal detection in WMNs with TDoA. It is verified by simulation that the effective SINR and uncoded BER performances of the proposed signal detection technique for OFDMA-based WMNs are significantly improved, compared with those of conventional technique.

  • Based on the new detection criterion proposed in Part 1 for the detecton of weak M-ary signals, a detection scheme for ultra wideband multiple access systems is investigated in the presence of impulsive interference. Simulation results show that the proposed detector, requiring less complexity, possesses almost the same performance as the maximum likelihood detector. In impulsive interference, the proposed detector also offers performance improvement over the detector optimized for Gaussian environment.

  • In this paper we have Investigated the effects of two wideband FDM-FM signals on n-ary QAM signal allocated between FDM-FM signals (in DIV case). Here, we assumed that the instantaneous frequency distribution of wideband FDM-FM signal is Gaussian. The numerical results of symbol error rate are given in graphs as the parameters of carrier to noise ratio (CNR), carrier to interference ratio (CIR) and normalized carrier separation between QAM and FDM-FM carrier frequencies.

  • We have studied and discussed the error rate performance of Quadrature Amplitude Modulation(QAM) in an environment of cochannel QAM interference and impulsive noise. A general equation of error probability for L-level QAM signal has been derived and the error rate of the 16-QAM signal, as an example, has been calculated as functions of carrier-to-noise power ratio(CNR), carrier-to-interferer power ratio(CIR), impulsive indes, and the phase difference between signal and interferer.

  • Under the power-based capture model, a transmission is successfully received at the destination, even in the presence of other transmissions and background noise, if the received signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio exceeds a capture threshold. We evaluate the spectral efficiency of simple multi-user channels by combining the basic capture model with a communication-theoretic model. The result is a more refined capture model that incorporates key system design parameters (such as achievable bit rate, target bit error rate, channel bandwidth, and modulation signal constellations) that are absent from the basic capture model. The relationships among these parameters can serve as a tool for optimizing the network performance.

  • In this paper a new scheme combining the turbo coder with parallel interference canceller, which effectively mitigates the effects of multiple access interferences and Ralyeigh fades in the DS-CDAM mobile communication systems is proposed Using the Monte-Carlo simulation, the performance of this scheme in terms of the number of users and signal to noise ration under AWGN and Ralyeigh fading environment is analyzed. The results of simulations show that the proposed scheme outperforms conventional CDMA receiver systems over Rayleigh fading as well as AWGN.

  • The non-spectroscopic interference effects that occurred in inductively coupled plasma/mass spectrometry were studied for Ge, As and Se in human urine and serum. Many biological samples contain Na, K, Cl and organic compounds, which may cause the enhancement and depression on the analyte signal. The effect of 1% concomitant elements such as N, Cl, S, P, C, Na, and K on a 100 ㎍/L germanium, arsenic and selenium signal has been investigated by ICP/MS. The interference effects were not in the same direction. It appeared that concomitant elements such as Cl, S, and C induce an enhancement effect, whereas N and P did not show any significant effect. And, Na and K caused a depression. We have found a link between the abundance of analytes and the ionization potential of concomitant elements (eV), except carbon and nitrogen.

  • The operation of Interference cancellation algorithm for wireless repeater cancellation depends on either existing correlation properties between desired signal and reference signal or not At the time, due to the correlation properties at the ICS system, adaptive algorithms without considering system delay do not function properly. Thus, this system should be oscillated. In this paper, to solve these problems, we use the delayed least mean square algorithm. For the best performance of ICS, the system delays must be estimated. To efficiently estimate the delay of ICS, we use relations between bandwidth and correlation properties of the received signal.
