A 27-year-old, right-hand-dominant woman with a posttraumatic anterior shoulder dislocation 3 months earlier after traYc accident presented because of pain and limited range of motion in the right shoulder. On physical examination, the patient had negative instability tests and a sulcus sign. On arthroscopic examination, a bifurcate long biceps tendon with two limbs was observed about 1 cm distal to the origin in the supraglenoid tubercle. We found no evidence of a tear in the long biceps tendon on probing, and the margin of each limb was smooth and round. Although this anatomic variant may be benign, its presence might be associated with other shoulder pathology. It is interesting to speculate whether the aberrant biceps anatomy in our patient contributed to transfer of injury at dislocation to the rotator cuff rather than to the classic anterior-inferior capsulolabral complex. In addition, recognition of the described anatomic variant on arthroscopy can aid the shoulder surgeon in focusing treatment on the actual pathology.

Clearing trace of symbol which was gone with a series of pre-modern architecture history since the modern architecture (pursuing true nature from tradition which is repeated and imitated unconsciously). That is, What is the course of deconstruction? In the early part of the 20th century, We still accept the necessity of decoration in spite of its existence at one time being threaten. This means, even though symbolism in architecture has relative importance by situation of Times, it plays an important role to add the past to current style through 'Symbol'. The history of Times, a carrier which reflects Present on New Futures, makes memory by gathering data but we can not amplify our historical imagination with only data. Data is a past memory and evidence but we can not substitute that for historical experience. And it is difficult for future generations who don't live through that history to change their historical recognition with recollecting memories. They have to draw history with data but it is very limited in itself. However, They can collect historical memory through symbol in architecture. In this study, We pay attention to the symbolism of a memorial hall architecture. So We'll analyze dichotomy concept of Barthes's signifiant and signifie, visual sign and course of symbolic meaning on basis of Daniel Libeskind's Jewish Museum.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to investigate the attitude toward the oriental hospital among 1,234 outpatients. Methods: A questionnaire about the general characteristics of patients, the decision-maker of use and the reason of choice or alteration was implemented. Results: The results of this survey as follows: Among outpatients 56.4 % were female in sex, 25.6 % were below 9 years of age; in educational level, 50.1 % were college graduates. Among outpatients, 33.6% chose the oriental hospital as their first choice and the rest were recommended by other persons. The recommenders were mostly relatives(73.9 %), female(73.4 %), young(30-39 years old, 40.1 %), high educational level (above the college, 54.9 %) people. 37.8 % among outpatients were secondary selection after the western medical clinic for the same symptom and sign. 7.0 % were the concomitant users of both therapies. 62.8 % among the concomitant users did not notify the western doctor about the dual therapies. The reasons they did not notify their Western doctors were 'be afraid of western doctor s bias' (42.6 %), 'no special reason' (29.6 %). Conclusions: The appropriate transfer system between oriental and western clinic must be constructed and the proper recognition about dual therapies will be needed among patients and doctors who practice both kinds of medicine.

Virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies can interact intuitively using virtual 3D images. Information signs on buildings that are frequently used by the public play a very important role in conveying information. However, the current information sign has different understanding and interpretation, and it is difficult to communicate quickly and intuitively for interaction. The purpose of this study is to increase the efficiency of information signing through information provision using mobile augmented reality. The InfoAR app not only guides you to the destination of the building, but also acts as a marker for the logo image. The logo image created based on the feature points recognizes the information of the destination. It is converted to AR through a mobile app, allowing users to easily find their destination by obtaining specific information. In addition, it presents interactions that can enlarge, reduce, move, and rotate information about virtual objects augmented through a function called AR. In the future, if user convenience and usability of the interface are added, research is conducted, and the level of completion is improved, such as using VR contents and promotions and business cards, it is expected that highly useful contents will be produced.

The purpose of this study was to see the influences of net-speak on actual writing of elementary schoolchild. So I investigated diaries and letters of elementary schoolchild in Jeju. And I researched through questionaire their recognition of net-speak. As the result, it became clear to be widely used net-speak both diaries and letters, especially letters. In computer education, first, Information and communication ethics must be educated. The second, software which filtering net-speak have to be developmented. In language education, first, it must be researched to influence the replacing a ellipsis symbol with a period or omitting the subject, complement, and object in sentence on elementary schoolchild's way of thinking. The second, it needs to be researched the influences of the misuse of sign in sentences on the writing of elementary schoolchild.

The purpose of this investigation is to enhance the survival rate of patients by transporting them to the hospital within the golden hour through the operational improvement of emergency dispatch instruction. To this end, problems and improvements of current operating system were derived by carrying out a survey against paramedics of Incheon city in 2012 and analyzing the current emergency dispatch instruction. This study analyzed the emergency activity daily reports for one year from January 1 through December 31, 2012 and researched the consciousness of 119 emergency medical technician. According to the analysis of the survey, there were no meaningful differences in the on-site arrival times per triage. Therefore, the item of 'Emergency Classification' specified in the emergency dispatch instruction needs to be integrated in the scheme of "triage". Also, the feedbacks of the emergency action log and the emergency dispatch instruction are necessary for 'duty for operation' to review the adequacy to the severity after the end of emergency operation. Finally, the improvement of the system for the continuous communication between the paramedics and the command staff is necessary. This improvements as stated above are expected to contribute to raise survival rate of patients.

Midgut volvulus secondary to intestinal malrotation usually presents within the first month of life. Diagnostic delay may result in midgut infarction and mortality. In this retrospective study, we review seventeen cases of midgut volvulus to assess the importance of early recognition for midgut volvulus in pediatric patients of any age.. These patients were diagnosed as having a midgut volvulus by operation at Ewha Womans University Hospital. Eleven patients (64.7 %) were less than 1 month of age, and fifteen were boys (88.2 %). The mean gestational age was 38.3 weeks and the birth weight was 3.1 kg. Eight patients (47.1 %) had one or more combined anomalies such as heart malformation, brain ischemia, Down's syndrome or duodenal atresia. Vomiting was the most common symptom. Only thirteen patients underwent preoperative diagnostic procedures; 13 abdominal sonography demonstrated the whirlpool sign in 8 patients, upper gastrointestinal tract roentgenography showed a cork-screw pattern in 7 patients, and barium enema or small bowel series demonstrated positive findings in 7 patients. A Ladd's procedure was was formed on all patients.. There was no mortality or severe morbidity such as short bowel syndrome. Midgut volvulus should be included in the differential diagnosis in any infant or child who presents with the symptoms of acute abdomen, especially with vomiting.

This research was carried out to sublimate our design with common sence so that the de-sign concept with our traditional chara-teristics can be acceptable in the world design area through re-creation works of tradition to be adoptable to modern concept. Form this survey the following could be derived. 1. in Korea designers should concern about the ration of skirt to jacket plait of Chima and string Koreum of hanbok. however they should pay more attention to string and color stripes to attract foreign customers in international market. It was found that koreans prefer the elegant and cur-vaceous design while foreigners demend edecor-ative design of Hanbok in addition to its el-egance and curvaeouseness. 2. It was also found that korean ramie fabric might be the most popular material for hanbok in Korea however silk and fine gauze might have to be used in international market. Generally it would be better to use the materials with natural and delicate feelings in Korea while the materials with gorgeous feel-ing in addition to natural and delicate feeling should be used in international market. 3, For the figures on Hanbok the embroidery figures and pictorial figures would be appropri-ate in Korea while it is necessary to develop the design with embroidery figures and gold foiled figures to satisfy the foreign customers. Accordignly it 8is required to develop the designers with figures with more elegant and gorgeous sence in both Korea and the world area.

본 논문은 최근 급변하는 스마트 시대에 발 빠르게 대처하기 힘든 장애인들과 일반인간의 단절을 해소하기 위해 도움을 주고자 한다. 사람들 간의 융합을 위해서는 기본적인 대화가 진행되어야 하는데 청각언어 장애인들과의 대화를 위해서는 수화를 사용하여야 한다. 하지만, 일반적으로 수화언어에 대한 지식이 미흡하고 원활한 의사소통에 큰 문제점을 가지고 있다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 립모션을 이용한 수화 인식 툴의 개발을 통해 일반인과 청각언어 장애인들간의 의사소통을 증진시켜주는 것이 목적이다.

Pulsus paradoxus has been defined as a decrease in systolic blood pressure (SBP) of 10 mmHg or more during inspiration. This report describes pulsus paradoxus detected by pulse oximetry during dental procedure. Case: A 10 years old boy who had impacted mandibular premolar with malformation scheduled for extraction under intravenous sedation with Fentanyl and Propofol. The patient showed upper airway obstruction with stridor and pulsus paradoxus. Though pulsus paradoxus is generally critical condition, in this case, respiration and other vital sign was maintained comparatively well with care in administering oxygen and considerate monitoring of pulse oximetry and capnography. Discussion: Noninvasive continuous monitoring of pulse oximetry allows recognition of pulsus paradoxus which can lead to serious problems. Clinicians should know very well about it and be able to manage of this kind of situation.
