Objectives : To determine the meaning of 'yi(噫)' from verses containing the character in 『Huangdineijing』. Methods : First, examples of the usage of 'yi(噫)' in Huangdineijing were collected and analyzed, followed by examples from the other books of the time when 『Huangdineijing』 was written. Finally the term 'ai' which surfaced in a later period than Huangdineijing to refer to eructation was examined. Results & Conclusions : Based on analysis of the usage of 'yi(噫)' in the 『Huangdineijing』, out of a total of 20 cases, 14 cases could be categorized as referring to eructation, 4 cases were difficult to categorize as eructation, and 2 cases were indeterminable. At the time of publication of 『Huangdineijing』, the character 'yi(噫)' was generally used to refer to eructation when used in a medical context, while in non-medical contexts it referred to sigh, or groan. The appearance of 'ai(噯)' is predicted to be during the Song period, but its appearance did not take away the meaning of eructation from 'yi(噫)' and both were used. Based on the change of meaning of 'yi(噫)', we can determine the approximate time when certain contents of the 『Huangdineijing』 were constructed. In the case of '心爲噫[Heart makes 'yi(噫)']', we can understand it as the pectoral qi leaking through the throat manifesting as a sigh in order to relieve stagnation of the excessiveness of the Heart. In cases of deficiency, when the Stomach function is weak, the body is likely to let out a sigh. The term meaning sighing which is 'taixi(大息)' was understood as symptomatic of problems of the Gallbladder as well as the Heart.

This purpose of the present study was to determine the effects of yawn-sigh technique in voice quality of a cleft palate child. A 9-year old cleft palate child participated in the study 3 times a week for a month. The assessments were done by Dr. Speech (Version 4.0, Tiger DRS) on $F_{0}$, jitter, shimmer and NNE. The results showed that there was a tendency that the voice improved in terms of NNE. However, it did not reach a statistical significance.

We have developed electrically driven portable ventilator and evaluated through in-vitro and in-vivo test. Ventilator is consists of DC servo motor(Kollmorgen), piston and ball screw, sensing system, power system with backup battery and micro controller. For the precise and stable volume control, the dynamic brake and the PI speed control loop is employed. The main functions are as followers; control, control+sigh, control/assist, control/assist+sigh and SIMV. The animal experiment showed stable performance when it is operated in control mode.

Objectives : This case report presents a 77-year-old female patient, who was suffered from fitful sigh, chest discomport and bitter taste diagnosed with psychosomatic disease improved by application of korean traditional treatments. Methods : The patient in this case had been suffered from severe stress by her family. Therefore, she diagnosed heart eum deficiency(心陰虛), heart qi stagnation(心氣鬱滯) and since then she had received herbal treatments. These treatments were successful and reduced the level of symptoms. Results : After treatment, her chief complains that fitful sigh, chest discomport and bitter taste were almost reduced. Conclusions : This result suggests that our korean traditional treatments was effective on psychosomatic disease caused by stress.

Purpose - The article studies aims to construct the center of economy in the upriver area of Chang Jiang, and has realistic significance probing into the contribution of insurance essential factor market to economic development on the contribution role of essential factor market of insurance in financial industry development to economic growth in Chongqing in both aspects of direct and indirect contribution by the way of demonstration analysis. Research data and methodology - The data are from Statistic Yearbook in Chongqing in 1997-2008.The conclusion shows that essential factor market of insurance development falls behind of economic growth in direct aspect; BBD, BLD and FIR could pull economic growth, but ID just restrain economic growth in Chongqing. Results -The estimate coefficient sigh of BDD, BLD, FIR are plus but ID is not, it is to say the increase of bank deposit dump could impel economic growth, which is accord with general thought. Conclusions - At last, the article Having Studied on the contribution role of essential factor market of insurance in financial industry development to economic growth in Chongqing by the way of demonstration analysis.

In this paper, temperature distribution and thermal stress are investigated considering engine peak pressure and the time average temperature distribution in the piston under running conditions for the diesel engine. The induced stress are calculated by the Finite Element Method(FEM). The results obtained are summerized as follows. 1) The results calculated by the FEM present good agreement with other numerical solution in literature. 2) It is confirmed that maximum compressive stress are induced in the part of outside wall between the piston crown and the pin bush. 3) In the axial direction, the hoop stresses are changed its sigh at the portion of crown near the inner wall side 4)Large gradient of temperature is shown in the piston crown near the side wall in the axial direction, in the part between the piton crown and the pin bush in radical direction 5)in case of stress distribution of piston wall surface in the axial direction, the hoop stress is a little greater than axial stress, and the latter is greater than the radial stress

It was reported in our Previous paper that the fermented products from Gloeostereum incarnatum strongly inhibit the growth of six kinds of bacteria in human bodies. In this paper the appropriated conditions of immersing culture for the strain 8 903 of Gloeostereum incarnatum was analysed. And the output of the hypha and fermentative product was determined or compared. The prelimenaryresults showed that the appropriated conditions for the growth of Gloeostereum incarnatum are: (1)culture medium:glucose 3%; protein peoptne 0.2%; soybeancake power 1% yeast power 0.3%; KH2PO40.05%; MgSO4 0.03%; CaCO3 0.01%; vitamin Bl 0.001%; befor sterilization pH Value of six should be maintained; (2) temperature; 27f ~28f ; (3) time; about 200 hours; (4) ventilation; (30%∼50%)/min. The sigh of the end culture are: pH coming down about 4: remnant glucoses less 1%; amino nitrogens about 20%; time about eight days. In the aforementioned conditions, the output of fermentative product achieve to 2.5∼3g/L.

The effectiveness of two different methods for the treatment of mammary tumors in bitches was examined in 30 dogs to determine the use of homepathy induction by Phytolacca $D_{2}$ preparations. The animals in group 1 received only Phytolacca $D_{2}$. In group 2the tumors were removed surgically and were treated with Phytolacca $D_{2}$ post operation. For the clinical sigh post treatment the dogs were examined regularly to detect neoplasia, reoccurrences and metastases. Treatment with Phytolacca $D_{2}$ resulted in following effects; In group 1 was not efficient. In group 2 was an inhibition of tumor growth and treated animals appeared to be revitalized.
