The purposes of this study were to investigate the differences in clothing consumption behaviors among female consumer groups in their twenties and to understand the type of consumer group pursuing fast fashion. Questionnaire survey was conducted to 230 female consumers residing in Seoul and Kyung Gi area from June 18 to 29 in 2007, and 178 were used for data analysis. Data analysis were conducted with SPSS 12 program on the reliability test, factor analysis, cluster analysis, correlation analysis, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test. Factors analyses were employed for the attitude toward fashion and shopping, and shopping motives. Four factors were formulated for the attitude toward fashion: interest in fashion, fashion-orientation, fashion leadership and fashion conformity. Six factors for the attitude toward shopping were found: information searching, shopping enjoyment, store patronage, impulse buying, brand-orientation and convenience. Buying motives for fashion goods were classified into 3 factors: for matching & occasion, to-be-in-fashion and for necessity. Four clusters were identified based on the attitude toward fashion: the fashion-interested, the fashion-indifferent, fashion leaders and the individuality-oriented. Among the groups, significant differences were found in information searching, shopping enjoyment and store patronage. Fashion leaders tended to spend more for expensive and up-to-dated fashion items, and for higher quantity than other groups. Consequently fashion leaders showed attractive customer characteristics for the fast fashion companies.
In this study, we used the Q methodology, which is considered an effective way to identify and assess the characterization of the human subjective consciousness, and we intended to carry out a scientific approach to classify cosmetics consumers in a department store. The purpose of this study is to identify the dimension of recognition and the characterization of Korean women who use a department store, as well as to classify cosmetics consumers in a department store. The analyzed data was divided into the top 10 questions and 10 sub-items, and it was then classified into six consumer types, depending on typicality of three factors. The three factors were 'effectiveness', 'goal' and 'congestion of shopping'. We named and analyzed the features of each type through in-depth Q workshops in which 22 professionals participated. This study is meaningful as it used the Q-methodology instead of statistics which had been used before to classify the consumers, so that the 'subjective' estimation was analyzed into 'objective' types. The results of this study are expected to be useful for creating a marketing strategy for the cosmetics industry.
The online shopping environment has radically changed consumer shopping behavior. Without the actual physical shopping experience in a brick-and-mortar store, consumers make purchasing decisions over the Internet. They make an effort to obtain product information not only from online merchants, but also from previous purchasers in order to make an informed decision. Accordingly, customer comments are expected to have a significant impact on decisions to purchase goods and services online. This paper focuses on one type of electronic word-of-mouth, the online consumer review. It derives several motivations why customers post product reviews on shopping mall sites. Customer motives were identified through an in depth one-on-one interview with twenty female respondents conducted twice from June $17^{th}$ to September $11^{th}$, 2009. The interviews lasted between 40 and 60 minutes. The results showed that consumers write product reviews based on six motivations: to receive a reward or remuneration for writing a product review, to share information with other customers, to improve the quality of goods and services, to reduce customer dissatisfaction, to recommend products and services, and to derive pleasure.

The questionnaires were administered to samples of four boys' and girls' high schools respectively in Kwangju. The data from 522 respondants were analyzed in using Frequency and T-test. The results were as follows: 1. Most of schools are likely to take a school uniform system in the near future but students do not have favorable attitude against the system. 2. There were partly significant differences between the clothing behavior variables (boys : psychological dependence, comfort and atmosphere of the store, girls : downtown shopping) among school uniform students and non-uniform students. 3. There were partly significant differences between life-style variables(boys : leadership and social attitude, advertisement confidence, girls : price consciousness) among school uniform students and non-uniform students. 4. About 80% of the subject group planned their clothing purchase in advance, and their parents and friends influenced on clothing buying behaviors more then other fashion information sources, however, for the boy students the atmosphere of the store is most affecting variables. The store in which the subject group purchased clothing most frequently was a specialty fashion store. In clothing selection, aesthetic factors were showen as important factor and the most affecting mass media is TV.
