  • While on-line shopping is increasing, the "Consumer Protection Law in Electronic Commerce" obliges each internet shopping mall to provide its business information. Although most internet shopping malls provide their business information in the semi-structured format on the bottom of their homepages, the attributes and expression forms of business information are different each other. It makes consumers difficult to identify their business information and lowers public confidence. Hence this study proposes three approaches - HTML-based structure, XML-based structure, and XML data island-based structure - to structuralizing business information for correct expression. The experiment results showed that the business information extraction time by XML data island-based structure is independent of the size of the web document, while the time by HTML-based structure is dependent on the size. By comparing the business information extraction times, we show that XML data island-based structure is more efficient and effective than HTML-based structure.structure.

  • This study is to explore how consumers' needs for tactile cues affect their purchasing behaviors in the internet shopping mall. Since previous studies about internet shopping malls are mainly performed on the primary factors of perceived risk, there are insufficient studies of tactile cues for apparel products. Emphasis of this study is placed on verifying the following hypothesis; it is expected that consumers' needs for tactile cues affect apparel purchasing behaviors in internet shopping. The questionnaire was administered to 20 to 30 year old male and female respondents who are either students or businessmen living in the Busan area. 150 questionnaires were completed and collected for data analysis. The data were, using SPSS 10. 0 for Window, statistically analyzed by frequency and factor analysis for VARIMAX, Cronbach's coefficient and Linear regression analysis. Data were, using SPSS 10. 0 for Window, statistically analyzed by frequency and factor analysis for VARIMAX, Cronbach's coefficient, and ANOVA. The results of data analysis are as follows: First, the tactile cues negatively affect purchase intentions of consumers. This shows that apparel internet shoppers who have high desire for tactical cues tend to avoid purchasing products through the internet. Second, the factor analysis of the moderating effect on perceived risks shows that the perceived risks significantly moderate both the tactile cues and purchase intention of consumers. Third, analysis of purchased experience also shows that purchased experiences significantly moderate both the tactile cues and purchase intention.

  • In the case of Domeggook B2B online shopping malls, it has a market share of over 70% with more than 2 million members and 800,000 items are sold per one day. However, since the same or similar items are stored and registered in different catalog entries, it is difficult for the buyer to search for items, and problems are also encountered in managing B2B large shopping malls. Therefore, in this study, we developed a catalog entry auto classification and recommendation system for products by using semi-supervised machine learning method based on previous huge shopping mall purchase information. Specifically, when the seller enters the item registration information in the form of natural language, KoNLPy morphological analysis process is performed, and the Naïve Bayes classification method is applied to implement a system that automatically recommends the most suitable catalog information for the article. As a result, it was possible to improve both the search speed and total sales of shopping mall by building accuracy in catalog entry efficiently.

  • The explosive growth of the Internet leads to various on-line shopping malls and active E-Commerce. however, as the internet has experienced continuous growth, users have to face a variety and a huge amount of items, and often waste a lot of time on purchasing items that are relevant to their interests. To overcome this problem the comparison shopping systems, which can help to compare items' information with those other shopping malls, have been issued as a solution. However, when users do not have much knowledge what they want to find, a keyword-based searching in the existing comparison shopping systems lead users to waste time for searching information. Thereby, the performance is fell down. To solve this problem in this research, we suggest the Comparison Shopping System using Image Retrieval based on Semantic Web. The proposed system can assist users who don't know items' information that they want to find and serve users for quickly comparing information among the items. In the proposed system we use semantic web technology. We insert the Semantic Annotation based on Ontology into items' image of each shopping mall. Consequently, we employ those images for searching the items instead of using a complex keyword. In order to evaluate performance of the proposed system we compare our experimental results with those of Keyword-based Comparison Shopping System and simple Semantic Web-based Comparison Shopping System. Our result shows that the proposed system has improved performance in comparison with the other systems.
