In nowadays, Covid-19 has transformed patterns of consumers' behavior into a non-face-to-face mode. As the patterns of consumption have been digitalized, it has become a daily routine for consumers who perform so-called shadow work, which involves unpaid jobs that they have to do by themselves. In mobile grocery service context, consumers' shadow work could lead to shopping avoidance as well as switching toward other shopping channels. Thus, this study is to examine how consumers' perception of shadow work affect mobile shopping avoidance and switching intention toward other shopping channels. This study collected 283 survey data from online respondents who have experience on subscription services for ordering groceries in online. We also tested our research model by using partial least squares. Based on our results, this study has found that the perception of shadow work had a positive effect on mobile shopping avoidance as well as switching intention. We expect that our findings could contribute to relevant research on shadow work and suggest practical implications for digital platforms dealing with subscription business models

This study investigated how consumer's uncertainty avoidance affect purchase deferral intention when purchasing high-involved products (i.e. laptops) in online shopping, and we looked at whether utilitarian/hedonic consumption value has a moderating effect in this relationship. Results showed the higher the uncertainty avoidance, the higher the deferral intention. Also, only the utilitarian consumption value had moderating effect in this relationship. This means that in an information overload situation like online shopping, consumers are more likely to delay their purchase intention when they have more uncertainty avoidance. Thus, to prevent this purchase delay, marketers should selectively present relative product information, strategically emphasize the importance of certain product attribution to reduce consumers' uncertainty of the product or highlight the utilitarian values of product attributes that are expected to have a significant impact on decision making.

In this study, the consumers were classified into Risk Avoidance Group, Enjoyment and Economy Group, Low Involving Group and High Involving Group by shopping propensity of the consumers and investigated the difference in their evaluation criteria and purchasing intention. The samples used in this study are 214 university students in Busan area who visited the internet shopping mall or had an experience to buy clothes through an internet. The purpose of this study is to identify how the internet university students' clothes shopping propensity and demographical factors affect the evaluation criteria and purchasing intention for clothes. And based on the results, the implications for internet clothes shopping mall are suggested and post research subject is provided as well.

This study examined the effects of store density levels on consumers'crowding perception and the effects of perceived retail crowding on consumer emotions and in turn shopping behavior. In addition, the study investigated the effects of perceived price value and store type on the segmented dimensions of perceived retail crowding. Results of an experimental test with 3 density levels and 2 store types confirmed the effects of density on social crowding and spatial crowding. While social crowding positively affected arousal, spatial crowding negatively did pleasure which in turn affected approach-avoidance behavior. Though two store types showed the same pattern in such relationships, the effect of perceived price value on retail crowding was different by store type.
Online retail is a growing opportunity for retailers and consumers. Cross-buying provides companies with an opportunity to increase their revenue contributions from existing consumers. In many fields, especially in the service sector, cross-selling is an easier strategy to use relative to increasing revenue rather than acquiring new consumers. Website personalization has been a powerful indispensable tool for web-based companies and end users. Using the Mehrabian and Russell's Stimulus-Organism-Response framework, we experimentally examined how an online retailing merchant's environmental stimuli (S) arouses internal affective and cognitive states (O), that affect consumers' approach-avoidance behavior (R) in cross-buying and shopping cart abandonment in online transactions.
In this study, we propose an improved view-based navigation method for obstacle avoidance and evaluate the effectiveness of the method in real environments with real obstacles. The proposed method possesses the ability to estimate the position and rotation of a mobile robot, even if the mobile robot strays from a recording path for the purpose of avoiding obstacles. In order to achieve this, ego-motion estimation was incorporated into the existing view-based navigation system. The ego-motion is calculated from SURF points between a current view and a recorded view using a Kinect sensor. In conventional view-based navigation systems, it is difficult to generate alternate paths to avoid obstacles. The proposed method is anticipated to allow a mobile robot greater flexibility in path planning to avoid humans and objects expected in real environments. Based on experiments performed in an indoor environment using a mobile robot, we evaluated the measurement accuracy of the proposed method, and confirmed its feasibility for robot navigation in museums and shopping mall.
The touchscreen device is now commonly found in the form of mobile phones, tablet PCs, and other devices. Varied physical and visual experiences can be experienced through touchscreens. This study intended to explore how the physical and visual experiences provided by the touchscreen would affect people through their existing associations of behavior-attitude. Previous studies have found that certain behaviors affect attitudes. In particular, the approach-avoidance behavior has been noted to influence both social and personal attitudes. It was thus deemed necessary to ascertain the approach-avoidance effect exerted by touchscreens on the attitudes of users as the technology is widely used today. Experiment 1 provided an approach-avoidance experience via a touchscreen and demonstrated that touchscreen-based approach-avoidance dragging behavior on the touchscreen can affect a user's preference and purchase intent. It was found that a product that had been approached showed both higher preference and higher purchase intent than a product that had been avoided. Experiment 2 investigated whether a similar effect would occur when only the visual experience of approach-avoidance was provided. The outcome proved that products that had been visually approached had higher scores than products that had been avoided, both in terms of preference and purchase intent. The movement of the arm on the touchscreen (Experiment 1) and the visual perception of the approach-avoidance experience (Experiment 2) were both shown to influence participants' attitudes toward products. The results of this study suggest that the behavior and perception of users may be an important factor in designing touchscreen interfaces for online shopping.

Many prior studies have been conducted that positive reviews increase the intention to purchase. However, there are very few papers that have studied the impact of review search on purchase satisfaction. It is meaningful to study the impact of review search on purchase satisfaction as it can lead the business successfully by inducing repurchase. There is also no study of how review search have different effects on purchase satisfaction among countries. Given the growing number of cross-border e-commerce, we believe that the need for research is high because identifying these differences between countries can have a very important impact on a company's successful overseas expansion. Therefore, in this study, the impact of positive and negative review search on purchase satisfaction and the national impact were set up as a research model. In order to verify this research model, the survey was distributed to those who experienced online purchase in Korea and China, and a total of 234 copies were collected, including 125 copies in Korea, 109 copies in China, and the research model was verified using Smart-PLS structural equation analysis tools. First, positive review search has been shown to positively affect purchase satisfaction. Second, it has been shown that negative review search also has a positive effect on purchase satisfaction. Third, the impact of positive and negative review search on purchase satisfaction was different between Korea and China. While Korea is more aggressive in review search than China due to its high tendency to avoid uncertainty, China is less likely to avoid uncertainty than Korea and is more likely to rely on brand familiarity. Therefore, according to the uncertainty avoidance moderation effect the impact of positive and negative review search on purchase satisfaction was higher in Korea than in China. In this study, Shopping mall managers need to take strategic measures to maximize shopping mall performance by recognizing positive aspects of negative review search on purchase satisfaction. Companies and managers in Korea and China can establish strategies to promote product sales when companies enter the global market.
This study investigates the factors affecting Korean consumers' willingness to pay (WTP) for domestic and organic agricultural, livestock, and processed food products. The findings reveal that obesity status, drinking frequency, and dining out frequency positively influence WTP for both domestic and organic products across all categories, while higher personal income, a convenience-seeking lifestyle, and the tendency to make shopping lists have a negative effect. The factors influencing WTP for organic products differ partially based on the country of origin, with dining out expenditure, disease symptoms, purchase of processed foods, and avoidance of risky foods show different impacts between domestic and imported organic products. The category- specific analysis shows that the perceived nutritional value of domestic products significantly affects WTP, except for livestock products. Safety certification preference has a mixed impact, lowering WTP for domestic agricultural and livestock products but increasing it for domestic organic livestock and processed foods. These results provide valuable insights for developing segmentation and differentiation strategies in the domestic agricultural market.
Early conflict research in channel and organization area have focused on the definition of conflict construct, its cause, consequence and identified conflict resolution management. Recent studies about conflict, however, have explored new assumption of complexity, a multidimensional conflict construct, contextual conflict management strategies, positive and negative conflict/consequence, and the conflict resolution strategy. Although many literatures exists on channel conflict resolution, little research has been done about relationship learning and performance from conflict resolution perspective. This study explores how channel members can achieve a relationship learning, as a conflict resolution mechanism, which enhance co-created value in marketing channel relationship. Therefore we propose that conflict resolution strategies(collaborating behavior and avoiding behavior) influence channel performance(effectiveness and efficiency) through relationship learning processes(learning via information exchange, joint interpretation and coordination, relationship-specific knowledge memory), in view of buyer-seller relationship. The research model is shown at
