변형 공간벡터방식을 사용한 Z-Source 인버터의 해석 및 제어 (Analysis and Control of Z-Source Inverter using Modified Space Vector Methods)

  • 본 논문은 ZSI에서 shoot-through 시간을 효율적으로 제어하기 위한 변형 공간전압 변조방식으로 3종류를 제시하였다. 3개의 변형 공간전압 변조방식에 대한 스위칭 패턴과 shoot-through 시간변화에 대한 변조신호의 변화를 분석한다. Shoot-through 시간 제어 범위와 함께 스위칭 패턴 및 변조신호의 평형성 등을 고려하여 최적의 변형 공간전압 변조방식을 선정하였으며, 32비트 DSP를 사용한 실험을 통하여 그 타당성을 확인한다.

  • 작약동아의 정아 및 액아의 기내배양에 의한 유묘의 증식에 필요한 배양조건을 구명코자 실험한 결과는 다음과 같다. 정아배양의 경우, 생장조절재의 조성에 무관하게 두지방종에서 100% 신초가 신장하였으나 생장은 의성지방종 은 NAA 0.1 mg/L 단용배지, 영천지방종은 NAA 0.01 mg/L 단용배지에서 가장 양호하였다. 액아배양의 경우, NAA 0.01 mg/L와 zeatin 5.0 mg/L 혼용배지에서 의성지방종은 100%, 영천지방종은 50%의 가장 높은 신초신장율을 보였고 신초의 생장도 양호한 경향이었다. 정아 및 액아배양으로부터 유도된 신초는 vermiculite를 지지물로 한 NAA 0.1 mg/L 첨가배지에서 30.0%의 발근율을 보였으나 뿌리의 생장은 양호하였다.

Four Novel PWM Shoot-Through Control Methods for Impedance Source DC-DC Converters

  • This study proposes four novel pulse width modulation (PWM) shoot-through control methods for impedance source (IS) galvanically isolated DC-DC converters. These methods are derived from a PWM control method with shifted shoot-through introduced by the authors in 2012. In contrast to the baseline solution, where the shoot-through states are generated by the simultaneous conduction of all transistors in the inverter bridge, our new approach is based on the shoot-through generation by one inverter leg. The idea is to increase the number of soft-switched transients and, therefore, decrease the dynamic losses of the front-end inverter. All the proposed approaches are experimentally verified through an insulated-gate bipolar transistor-based IS DC-DC converter. Conclusions are drawn in accordance with the results of the switching loss analysis.

An Efficient In vitro Propagation of Zanthoxylum piperitum DC.

  • A protocol is described for rapid multiplication of Zanthoxylum piperitum DC. (Rutaceae), an important aromatic and medicinal plant, through shoot-tip explant cultures. Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium supplemented with various concentrations of N-6-benzyladenine (BA), N-6-benzylaminopurine (BAP) and thidiazuron (TDZ), in single or in combination with ${\alpha}-naphthaleneacetic$ acid (NAA), was used to determine the rate of shoot proliferation. N-6-benzyladenine (BA) used at 0.5mg/l, was the most effective in initiating multiple shoot proliferation at the rate of 23 microshoots per shoot-tip explants after 40 days of culture. Shoot multiplication increased 1.2-fold in each successive subculture. Induction of rooting (98%) was achieved by transferring the shoots to the same basal medium containing 2 mg/l indole-3-butyric acid (IBA). Plantlets went through a hardening phase in a controlled growth chamber, prior to in vivo transfer. These results represented that possible application for the mass production of plantlets through in vitro culture system of Zanthoxylum piperitum DC.

  • 본 논문은 다이오드 정류기와 Z-소스 인버터로 교류전동기 구동 시 암 단락 (shoot-through) 상태와 비 암 단락 상태를 나누어 각각 등가회로를 구성하고 공통모드 전압을 분석한다. 음의 값의 공통모드 전압을 감소시키기 위하여 암 단락 시간 제어와 함께 영전압 벡터인가 구간을 제거하는 변형 공간벡터변조기법을 제시한다. PSIM과 32-비트 DSP를 사용한 실험 및 시뮬레이션 결과를 통하여 음의 공통모드전압이 50%이상 감소됨을 확인하였다.

Plant Regeneration through Leaf Explant Culture of Boxthorn (Lycium chinense Mill.)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the optimal plant growth regulator level for the shoot formation of Lycium chinense Mill. In vitro plant propagation was developed for leaf explants of boxthorn. Leaf explants were cultured on MS medium supplemented with cytokinins (BA and 2-iP) alone. Plants were successfully regenerated through in vitro culture by using leaf explants of boxthorn grown in the field. After 4 weeks of culture, 58% of shoot formation had developed from the leaf explants. The shoot formation rate of 'Jangmyeong' was highest followed by 'Myeongan', ;Cheondae', and 'Bullo'. The use of 0.2mg/L BA was critical for enhanced production of shoot formation and resulted in 58% of the culture producing shoot formations. Regenerated plantlets transplanted to pots were developed and successfully acclimatized to greenhouse.

  • E3 ligase BRUTUS (BTS), a putative iron sensor, is expressed in both root and shoot tissues in seedlings of Arabidopsis thaliana. The role of BTS in root tissues has been well established. However, its role in shoot tissues has been scarcely studied. Comparative transcriptome analysis with shoot and root tissues revealed that BTS is involved in regulating energy metabolism by modulating expression of mitochondrial and chloroplast genes in shoot tissues. Moreover, in shoot tissues of bts-1 plants, levels of ADP and ATP and the ratio of ADP/ATP were greatly increased with a concomitant decrease in levels of soluble sugar and starch. The decreased starch level in bts-1 shoot tissues was restored to the level of shoot tissues of wild-type plants upon vanadate treatment. Through this study, we expand the role of BTS to regulation of energy metabolism in the shoot in addition to its role of iron deficiency response in roots.

울금의 경정배양에 의한 기내번식 (In vitro Propagation using Shoot Tip Culture of Curcuma longa L.)

  • 울금의 기내대량번식을 위한 경정배양에 알맞은 기본배지의 종류와 기내증식 및 생장에 미치는 식물생장조절제의 농도를 구명하고자 본 실험을 수행한 결과는 다음과 같다. 울금의 경정은 MS(Murashige and Skoog)기본배지에 치상한 경우 Wanspojen, LS, White 배지보다 shoot와 root의 형성율이 높은 경향이었다. 기내의 유식물체 생장은 오옥신(NAA 0.5-l.0 $\textrm{mg}/\textrm{l}$)과 사이토키닌(BA 1.0-5.0 $\textrm{mg}/\textrm{l}$) 혼용처리가 효과적이었다.

The characteristics of seed production in an Adonis multiflora (Ranunculaceae) population

  • A natural population of Adonis multiflora, a spring ephemeral herb growing in temperate deciduous forests, was studied to determine the seed production characteristics. Plant size, flowering time, and seed number were monitored from February 2009 to May 2011 in main growing season (i.e., from March through May). The biomass rates of the shoot and the root in the A. multiflora population were 22-24% and 76-78%, respectively, and the biomass of the root was proportional to that of the shoot. The flowering rate was 60% in the plants with 1 to 2 g of shoot biomass, and 100% in the plants with >2 g of shoot biomass. In the plants with root biomass between 4 and 6 g, the flowering rate was 43% and, in the plants with the root biomass over 8 g, it was 100%. The shoot biomass was a better predictor of the flower production probability than the root biomass. The number of flowers and seeds was closely correlated to shoot biomass at 1% significance level. The size of the plant that produced seed excessively instead of the shoot biomass in one year typically decreased in the next year and vice versa. The flowering time and its duration were closely related to the number of faithful seeds but not to that of total seeds. The number of faithful seeds was proportionate to flowering duration and inversely proportionate to flowering time (year day, YD). In a plant, the number of faithful seeds noticeably decreased with the inflorescence (i.e., order of flower in a plant), and this difference between the two successive flowers was significant at the 1% level between the first and the third flower in 2009 and 2011 but not between the third and the fourth. However, the number of total seeds was mostly similar in the first through the fourth flower for all three years.

Rapid Propagation through Tissue Culture of Cudrania tricuspidata, Medicinal Plant

  • An effective rapid propagation method was established through in vitro cultures of the medicinal plant, Cudrania tricuspidata. In vitro plantlets were obtained from in vitro germinated seeds. The various levels of cytokinins (BAP, Kinetin and TDZ) were tested on multiple shoot formation from plantlets. BAP (1.0 mg/l) treatment induced highest number of multiple shoots. Single shoot cultures gave higher initial shoot numbers than 5 shoots per culture. Among the various culture media, the shoot elongation was optimal on 2 MS basal medium without growth regulators. The IAA (2.0 mg/l) treatment induced highest number of roots. IBA (2.0 mg/l) treatment more promoted in vitro root growth than other concentrations. Rooted shoots were transferred directly to small pots with an artificial soil and successfully acclimatized.
