Recently, a framework crystallizing as Environmental, Social, and Governance(ESG) has been exerting significant influence not only on corporate investment and management philosophies but also on national policies. This ESG framework is becoming an essential requirement for all organizations. It has become an obligation at the corporate and national levels, particularly in the maritime, port, and logistics sectors. Anticipating that the adoption and utilization of the ESG framework will reach higher levels when it becomes a necessity, this study utilized data from international organizations such as the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development(UNCTAD), the World Bank, and the World Economic Forum to analyze the impact of the ESG framework on national economic performance through the maritime, port, and logistics sectors using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling(PLS-SEM). The analysis revealed that while the ESG framework did not have a direct impact on the national economy, it manifested substantial indirect effects through maritime, port, and logistics sectors. Therefore, in these sectors, the establishment of the ESG framework should be recognized not only as an expenditure and obligation but also as a crucial investment that positively influences the national economic performance. The study's findings are limited by the absence of data beyond 2019 due to the impact of COVID-19. Therefore, it is anticipated that more accurate current effects can be ascertained when newer data becomes available.

Domestic distribution warehouse has been developed as a strategic strategic point for inventory management and shipping of goods for companies. Warehouse is classified as distribution center, transport center, complex center depending on the role. Currently, at the same time it is considering the price factor such as rent price or land price and and logistical capabilities when considering the location of domestic warehouses. The price evaluation factors has specific methods for the evaluation but logistical elements is not currently clear. In this study, we have studied location selection of distribution center considering the logistical elements through expert surveys.

This study aims to verify the structural relationship among service orientation, employees' satisfaction and business performance primarily on the International Freight Forwarders. For carrying out the study, literature survey relating to service orientation, satisfaction and performance along with empirical analysis was carried out. Results of analyses were found to be as follows: first, International Freight Forwarder's service orientation has had influence on employees' satisfaction second, employees' satisfaction in the freight forwarding companies has had influence on financial performance.

This purpose of this study is to analyze the causal relation among constituent concepts and verify the relation among internal marketing, service quality and customer satisfaction in shipping companies. To achieve the goal of this study, the author studied literatures on internal marketing, service quality and customer satisfaction, and carried out a survey targeting people working for shipping companies and international logistics freight forwarders to make an empirical analysis. The results are as follows. It was confirmed that education and training, reward system, empowerment among internal marketing elements of a shipping company have a positive effect on the service quality and customer satisfaction of the shipping company, and the service quality of a shipping company also has a positive effect on customer satisfaction. As it can be known from these results, it would be necessary to concentrate on internal marketing of a shipping company in order to increase service quality and customer satisfaction.

This study explores the incentive system in Korean ports to become a global logistics hub in Asia or to be competitive among Korean ports as a regional hub. First, we identified the types of port incentives in Korea and in overseas ports. We selected potential incentives applicable to Korean ports and compared whether they were meaningful, efficient, and effective in the short and long term. We selected IPA (Importance-performance Analysis) as an analytical method and surveyed users and experts. The results show that it is necessary and effective to provide incentives for new shipping companies, both export and import shippers, while setting criteria for reasonable incentives. Factors needed for improvement included simplifying and calculating the incentive request process, incentives for terminal operators, and new incentives, in addition to existing incentives. Policy-making organizations will also need to collect feedback on institutional improvements and raise awareness among users. Key factors for improvement include providing incentives for existing shipping companies. In particular, in order to actively manage systematic and efficient policies, incentive criteria for existing shipping companies need to be reconsidered.

그린정보화(Green Informatization)는 기후변화 문제에 대처하여 다양한 산업 분야에서 기술적인 해결책의 한 부분으로 활용되어 저탄소 녹색성장에 크게 기여하는 효과적인 수단으로 인식 되고 있다. 기업의 그린정보화를 실천하기 위하여 도입하는 친환경적인 정보시스템은 기업에서 에너지 절감과 지속가능한 사회적 책임을 이행하게 되는 실천 도구가 되고 있다. 물류기업들도 녹색물류를 실천의 일환으로 그린정보기술(Green IT)을 도입하여 온실가스 배출량을 줄이는 노력을 기울이고 있다.

해운 항만의 환경이 2000년대 들어서 10,000teu급의 대형 컨테이너선박이 집중 투입되면서 선박의 대형화와 고속화가 가속되고 있다. 이에 따라 전세계 해운시장의 업계들은 살아남기 위한 방안으로 M&A와 Alliance들을 선택하였다. 각각의 선사들은 주력하고 있는 항로들이 다르며 그에 따라 전략적인 제휴관계를 맺고 있다. 본 연구에서는 전 세계 해운 선사들의 Alliance 관계를 파악하고 그들의 사회연결망기법중의 하나인 Net-miner4를 활용하여 네트워크 구조에 대해서 깊이 있게 살펴보았다.

This study investigates cargo management issues in the shipbuilding and marine equipment industry. Problems are analyzed concerning the absence of information about exact cargo location and condition, damage, loss, replacement, and transportation delays during the import and export process. Then, improvements are proposed to solve these problems. To illustrate, real time information about the status and location of cargo should be communicated between import/export and logistics companies to facilitate material logistics for shipbuilding & marine equipment. In addition, a standard cargo classification and recognition system should be established to reduce delivery delays and mistakes, so then enhancing logistical efficiency. Moreover, it is also necessary to nurture professional shipbuilding & marine equipment forwarders to strengthen their expertise with professional education and training.
