태양광 선박의 분산전원화 (Distributed Generation of Solar Ship)

  • 경제성장과 산업 사회생활의 고도화에 따라서 증대하는 전력수요에 대해서, 에너지자원량과 지구환경의 제약이 거론되고 있는 최근의 에너지를 둘러싼 심각한 상황인식을 고려하여 전력 수급의 장기적 안정을 확보하기 위해서는, 전력수급양면에 걸친 대책이 강화되어야 한다는 것이 현재 관련 전문가들의 공통된 의견으로 수렴되고 있다. 따라서 종래의 전력공급은 대규모 전원의 개발을 중심으로 수요에 대응해 왔지만, 앞으로는 수요의 관리 제어를 고려한 부하 관리(Load Management) 또는 수요측관리(Demand-Side Management)를 적극적으로 추진해가고, 나아가 다양한 에너지원의 효율적 활용을 목표로 한 분산형전원의 개발과 도입을 적극적으로 추진하는 등의 폭넓은 정책이 마련 시행될 필요가 있다. 그 대안중의 하나로 태양광 하이브리드 선박이 널리 보급될 경우 하나의 분산전원으로서 그 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다.

  • The routes of coastal passenger ships are important in the light of both economic and social view point. Islands around the Korean peninsular can be actually dominated by linking them with land by the ships. The service quality of the route is not high enough to satisfy habitants in the islands. The income of the service-users is increasing so that they expect better service in terms of ship's speed and cabin. The reality is not, however, good to motivate ship-owners to replace aged ships with new and large ones. The situation is caused by low passenger-fare and inefficient management. Therefore the fare should be raised and the fare system should be innovated. And the number of passenger ship companies should be reduced from 42 to 20 by merger and acquisition.

탄소나노튜브 면상발열체의 선박 기자재 적용 연구 (Application of a CNT Surface Heating Element to the Ship Equipment)

  • This study investigates the validity of applying new carbon nanotube (CNT, Carbon Nano Tube) surface heaters, which are applied in combination with various products, to the vessel's materials, and proposes the commercializable products accordingly. In order to actually apply a CNT surface heating system technology to the ship's equipment for the first time in Korea, we carried out the interview of experts in the technology field and the due diligence of the shipyard, and presented the technology road map for the selected three items. Finally, for "Heating System of Ship Fuel Tank" with the highest commercialization potential, we proposed a conceptual diagram to enable the final development of the product through the product analysis.

Optimal Dual Pricing and Passenger Safety Level for Cruise Revenue Management

  • Despite the remarkable continual growth of the world cruise industry, studies have yet to be attempted on many revenue management problems in cruise operations. This paper suggests two schemes that can be easily applied to cruise revenue management: optimal dual pricing and passenger safety level. In optimal dual pricing, a pair of higher and lower prices is applied to cabin reservation through market segmentation. This scheme can be executed with a linear price-response function for the current unreserved cabins. A cruise line could benefit from this scheme to maximize reservation revenue while attaining full occupancy. The dual pricing scheme is also devised to produce only integer demands to suit real management practices. The life boat capacity is an additional service capacity unique to the cruise industry, catering to passengers' safety. The concept of passenger safety level is defined and computed for any passenger life boat capacity of a cruise ship. It can be used to evaluate the passenger safety of a cruise ship in operation, as well as to determine the number of life boat seats required for a new cruise ship. Hypothetical examples are used to illustrate the operation of these two schemes.

연안의 선박오염배울을 포함한 부산지역의 대기오염물질 배출량 산정 (An Emission Estimation of Pollutants Including Ship Sources in the Pusan Metropolitan Area)

  • In recent years emissions of pollutants from ship sources, especially NOx and SOx, is controlled by IMO(International Maritime Organization). The emissions of pollutants from ship sources in Pusan is considerably large, because the number of ship's coming and going in Pusan port is larger than that of other ports in Korea. Since Pusan is under the strong influence of land-sea breezes, pollutants emitted from ship sources will be transported into the inland. Control of emissions from ship sources is required to devise effectively the policy of air quality management in Pusan. Therefore this paper considered the present condition of total pollutant sources and emission characteristics including in coastal urban area.

  • Naval ships are complex weapon systems which play the integrated performance by system integration of many kinds of weapon systems and their leading ships are usually not disposed after test and evaluation but militarised. Then, strict project management is required for naval ship building projects by identifying problems early and by taking prefer measures in time against unexpected situations encountered in the process of the projects. EVMS is a project management system which can manage the schedule and the budget of a project concurrently and estimate the project's time duration and the cost at project completion. In this paper, the applicability and usefulness of WMS is studied for a assumed navai ship building project, in the environment of monetary fluctuations such as price index, wage increase rate and exchange rate.

CAD 정보를 활용한 해양 배관재 설치 준비율 관리 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Installation Readiness Management Method of Offshore Plant using CAD Information)

  • In this study, we propose a piping material supply management method using CAD system. The piping materials installed in super large offshore plants have very complicated connection conditions. Therefore, it is very difficult to determine the order of receipt of a large number of installation materials. Therefore, we have developed a system that can automatically check the preparation rate of installation materials prior to the installation process. We have developed an algorithm to obtain connection information among installation items from PDMS system. We have developed an algorithm that can determine the order of installation materials to be installed using the connection information. The order of the installation material is determined by taking into account the constraint conditions for the complete installation of the piping material. We confirm the effectiveness of the developed algorithms in the operating system. This system is also used to manage installation schedules and plan the installation manpower.

이종 운영체제 장비를 통합한 DDS 기반 선박 IPMS 시뮬레이터 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of Ship IPMS Simulator Based on DDS integrated with Different Operating System Equipment)

  • 선박의 자동화 수준이 높아지고 자율운항선박의 개발에 따라 선박의 IPMS (integrated platform management system)는 다양한 운영체제로 통제되는 개별 장비들을 통합하고 다량의 데이터를 실시간으로 처리해야 한다. 이러한 상황에서 데이터 처리를 위해 DDS (data distribution service) 미들웨어 기반 선박 IPMS 시뮬레이터를 개발하고 성능을 평가하였다. 이종 운영체제로 동작하고 있는 신호입출력장치와 IPMS 서버에서 초당 1,000개의 토픽을 비동기로 발간하고 구독한 시뮬레이션을 수행하였으며, 초기 4초 동안 일부 토픽의 누락을 제외하고는 오류 없이 데이터를 수신하였다. 개발된 시뮬레이터는 실제 선박에서 DDS를 이용하여 다른 제어체계를 통합할 수 있음을 보여준다.

국내 주요 선박관리기업의 효율성 분석에 관한 연구 (Efficiency Analysis of Korean Major Ship Management Corporations)

  • 해운업의 효율성과 관련된 연구접근은 해상운송과 컨테이너 항만에 치우쳐 있어 선박관리업과 관련된 연구는 찾아보기 힘든 실정이다. 이러한 측면에서 본 연구에서는 국내주요 선박관리업 회사의 효율성을 비교 분석하여 효율성방안을 제시하는 것을 연구목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 DEA를 통해 효율성 분석을 실시했다. 분석대상은 2011년 외국적선, 국적선으로 분류한 뒤 상위 매출액 10개 기업을 선정했다. 효율성 분석을 위해 관리선박 척수를 투입변수로 선정했으며, 선원 수, 매출액을 산출변수로 선정했다. 분석 결과, 외국적선의 해영선박 국적선의 범진상운, 대한해운, 에스티엑스마린서비스, 우림선박이 효율성 1.00으로 높게 분석되었으며 또한 BDI지수와 How Robinson Container Index의 3년간 연평균(2009~2011년)과 동기간 효율성과 매출액의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 효율성 보다는 매출액이 해상운임지수에 탄력적인 것으로 나타났다.
