흐름과 임의반사율을 갖는 부분중복파와의 공존장하에서 해저지반내 동적응답의 해석해 (An Analytical Solution of Dynamic Responses for Seabed under Coexisting Fields of Flow and Partial Standing Wave with Arbitrary Reflection Ratio)

  • 일정수심상에서 임의반사율을 갖는 부분중복파와 흐름이 공존하는 경우 얕은 두께를 포함한 유한두께 및 무한두께의 해저지반내에서 동적응답을 나타내는 해석해를 유도한다. 해석해에서 반사율이 0인 경우는 진행파와 흐름과의 공존장으로, 반사율이 1인 경우는 완전중복파와 흐름과의 공존장으로 간단히 변환된다. Biot의 압밀이론에 기초하여 해저지반은 투과탄성매체로, 간극유체는 압축성으로, 그리고 지반내 간극수의 흐름은 Darcy법칙으로 각각 가정된다. 도출된 해석해는 기존의 해석결과와의 비교 검토로부터 검증되며, 실제 계산에서는 반사율, 흐름속도, 입사파의 주기 및 지반두께 등의 변화에 따른 지반변위, 간극수압, 유효응력 및 전단응력의 변동특성을 면밀히 검토한다. 이로부터 흐름이 존재하는 경우 흐름으로 인한 입사파와 반사파의 주기 및 파장의 변화로 인하여 흐름이 없는 경우의 지반내 동적응답과는 큰 차이를 나타내며, 또한 반사율의 크기에 따라 동적응답에서 큰 차이가 나타난다는 것을 확인할 수 있다.

오대산지진 자료를 이용한 국내 지진관측소 부지의 지반증폭특성 연구 (Analysis of Site Amplification of Seismic Stations using Odesan Earthquake)

  • 지진원, 지각감쇠 및 구조물과 지반상호간의 동적 특성 등을 신뢰성 있게 평가하기 위해 지반의 증폭특성을 반드시 고려하여야 한다. 주파수 영역에서 H/V 스펙트럼 비를 구하는 방법은 Nakamura(1989)에 의해 처음으로 제시되어 초기에는 지반의 상시미동의 표면파의 특성을 이해하기 위해 제시되어 한계점이 존재하나 근래에 와서 강진동의 전단파 에너지 등에 적용범위가 확장되면서 지반의 동적인 증폭특성(지반증폭함수) 연구에 많이 이용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 오대산 지진(2007/01/20)으로부터 관측된 9개의 지반진동을 이용하여 H/V 스펙트럼 비를 분석하였고 결과를 이용하여 국내에 분포되어 있는 지진관측소 부지의 지반증폭 특성을 분석하였다. 분석결과 대부분의 지진관측소의 H/V 스펙트럼 비는 저주파수 영역에서는 고주파수 영역에 비해 다소 안정된 지반증폭 특성을 보여주었다. 하지만 지진관측소마다 고유주파수, 고주파수 및 저주파수 대역에서 서로 다른 지반증폭 특성을 보여주었다. 특히 각각 관측소 부지의 고유주파수는 각 관측소의 지진자료의 질을 좌우하므로 정확한 분석이 필요하다. 관측된 지반진동 자료를 이용하여 지진원 및 지각감쇠 요소를 분석할 경우 결과값의 왜곡을 피하기 위해 지반증폭 정보를 제거하면 신뢰성이 보다 향상된 값을 얻을 수 있다. 물론 지반증폭은 국내 지반의 분류 연구에 중요한 정보를 제공한다는 점에서 대단히 중요하다.

수치해석을 통한 진동감쇠식 맞춤형 암반의 감쇠비 산정 (Estimation of Attenuation Relationship Compatible with Damping Ratio of Rock Mass from Numerical Simulation)

  • 발파에 대한 주변 구조물이나 사면의 안정성은 경험적 진동감쇠식 또는 발파진동 동적 수치해석을 통하여 평가한다. 동적해석을 수행하기 위해서는 발파하중과 지반 감쇠비의 산정이 필요하다. 발파하중에 대해서는 다양한 경험적 방법이 제시되었지만 암반의 감쇠비에 대한 연구는 제한적이며 해석 시 이를 무시하거나 명확한 근거 없이 가정하여 해석에 적용하고 있다. 암반의 감쇠비는 절리의 영향을 크게 받으므로 이를 고려해서 산정해야 한다. 또한, 평면파로 가정할 수 있는 지진파와는 다르게 발파 시에는 구면파가 생성되며 이를 2차원 해석에서 모사하는 경우에는 이의 기하학적 확산을 고려하기 위하여 감쇠비를 조정해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 위의 두 가지 영향이 고려된 2차원 평면변형률 연속체 해석에 적용 가능한 암반의 등가감쇠비를 제안하였다. 이를 위하여 다양한 강성의 암반에 대한 2차원 동적해석을 수행하여 암반의 감쇠비에 따른 진동전파 특성을 분석하였으며 해석결과를 기반으로 진동감쇠식-전단파속도-등가감쇠비와의 상관관계를 규명하였다. 제시된 상관관계는 경험적 진동감쇠식에 상응하는 감쇠비를 산정한 최초의 시도로 중요한 의미가 있으며 동시에 실무에도 쉽게 적용될 수 있는 유용한 방법이다.

천연흑연 박리를 통한 그래핀 잉크 생산 및 프린팅 (Fabrication of Printed Graphene Pattern Via Exfoliation and Ink Formulation of Natural Graphite )

  • 그래핀의 우수한 기계적, 전기적, 열적 성질은 최근 몇 년 동안 여러 연구 분야에서 지대한 관심을 불러일으켰다. 그래핀을 생산하는 대표적인 방법인 습식공정 중 액상박리(liquid-phase exfoliation, LPE)는 초음파 및 높은 전단응력을 이용하여 벌크흑연을 그래핀으로 박리하는 기술이다. 액상박리에 의해 생산된 그래핀 분산액은 그래핀 잉크로 전환되어 그 활용폭을 더 넓힐 수 있는 장점이 있지만 고품질의 그래핀을 생산하고 가격경쟁력을 확보해야 한다. 위 조건을 만족하기 위해서 그래핀을 효율적으로 박리할 수 있는 공정 확보와 더불어 상대적으로 가격이 저렴한 천연흑연 기반의 그래핀 분산액 및 잉크를 생산해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 합성흑연 보다 약 3배 정도 저렴하고 그 크기는7배 이상 큰 천연흑연을 흐름반응기 액상박리 공정을 이용하여 박리를 시도하고 공정의 최적화와 박리된 그래핀의 구조적, 전기적 특성을 분석하였다. 천연흑연 기반 그래핀의 전기적 특성을 분석하기 위해 잉크 정제화 공정을 거쳐 그래핀 잉크를 생산하고 인쇄 장비를 사용하여 그래핀 패턴을 제작하였다. 본 연구를 통해 보다 경제적인 그래핀 분산액 및 잉크를 생산하고 그래핀 인쇄 소자를 개발할 수 있는 방법을 제시할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

파랑-지반-해안구조물의 상호작용에 기인하는 해저지반과 구조물의 동적응답에 관한 수치시뮬레이션 (Numerical Simulation on Seabed-Structure Dynamic Responses due to the Interaction between Waves, Seabed and Coastal Structure)

  • 해안 및 해양구조물 하부의 해저지반에 고파랑이 장시간 작용하는 경우 과잉간극수압(진동과잉간극수압과 잔류과잉간극수압의 합)이 크게 발생할 수 있고, 이어지는 유효응력의 감소에 따라 해저지반에 액상화가 발생될 수 있다. 일단, 지반액상화가 발생 및 진행되면 구조물의 침하 혹은 전도에 의해 종국적으로 구조물이 파괴될 가능성이 높아진다. 특히, 중력식구조물이 설치된 하부지반내에서는 파작용에 의한 큰 과잉간극수압과 작은 유효응력으로 부터 발생되는 지반액상화의 여부를 정확히 예측할 필요가 있고, 이러한 지반의 동적거동 특성은 설계에 충분히 반영되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 2차원수치파동수로를 불규칙파동장으로 확장한 수치해석법을 적용하여 해저지반상 및 구조물의 표면상에서 시간변동의 동파압과 유속에 의한 전단응력을 산정하고, 그 결과를 지반의 동적거동을 정밀하게 재현할 수 있는 해저지반응답용의 수치해석프로그램 FLIP(Finite element analysis LIquefaction Program)에 입력치로 적용하여 해저지반내에서 과잉간극수압 및 유효응력의 시공간적인 변화, 이로 인한 액상화, 그리고 지반의 시간변형과 구조물의 시간변위를 정량적으로 평가한다. 이로부터 해저면상에서 전단응력을 고려한 경우 구조물 전면의 하부해저지반에서 액상화 가능성을 확인할 수 있었고, 액상화된 토립자는 흐름에 저항력을 상실하므로 세굴로 이어질 것으로 판단된다. 따라서, 태풍시 고파랑의 작용이 장시간 지속되는 경우 구조물의 전면에서는 지반액상화로 인한 지반강도의 현저한 저하로 구조물의 진동변위가 더욱 크게 발생되고, 더불어 구조물의 안정성에 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상된다.

수신함수 역산 및 H-κ 중합법을 이용한 제주도 하부의 S파 지각 속도 (S-Wave Velocities Beneath Jeju Island, Korea, Using Inversion of Receiver Functions and the H-κ Stacking Method)

  • 제주도 한라산 주위에 위치한 JJU와 JJB 관측소 하부의 S파 속도구조를 규명하기 위하여, 이 관측소에서 2007년 이후 기록한 $M_W$ 5.5 이상인 원격 지진자료 중 150개 수신함수를 이용하여 역산 및 H-${\kappa}$ 중합법에 적용하였다. 모호면에서 변환된 $P_S$파는 JJU 관측소의 북서쪽(후방위각 $207{\sim}409^{\circ}$, 평균 $308^{\circ}$)과 JJB 관측소의 남동쪽(후방위각 $119{\sim}207^{\circ}$, 평균 $163^{\circ}$) 방향으로 뚜렷하지 않게 나타났다. 이것은 아마도 모호면의 점이적인 속도변화나 지각 내의 속도 불균질층 때문일 수 있다. 수신함수 역산으로부터 계산된 S파 속도모델은 지각 내의 저속도층을 뚜렷이 보여주며, 30 ~ 40 km 깊이에서 점이적으로 증가하는 양상을 보인다. JJB 관측소 반경 18 km 이내에서 저속도층($v_s{\leq}3.5km/s$)은 14 ~ 26 km에 있고, $v_s{\geq}4.3km/s$으로 정의한 '모호면'은 34 km 깊이에 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 서쪽으로 약 10 km 떨어진 곳에 위치한 JJU 관측소의 반경 16 km 이내에서는 저속도층과 '모호면'이 14 ~ 24 km와 30 km에 각각 존재하여 JJB 관측소에 비해 다소 얕은 깊이에서 나타난다. JJU와 JJB 관측소에 대한 H-${\kappa}$ 분석결과는 지각 두께가 29 km와 33 km이며, 종파/횡파 속도비($v_p/v_s$)가 1.64과 1.75임을 각각 나타내어 화산 정상에 가까운 곳에서 상대적으로 낮은 $v_p/v_s$가 관찰되었다.

캐나다 앨버타주 전기 백악기 맥머레이층의 유성이토 퇴적층 (Fluid-mud deposits in the Early Cretaceous McMurray Formation, Alberta, Canada)

  • 유성이토는 현생 염하구 환경에서 흔히 발달하지만, 고기의 퇴적층에서 보고되고 퇴적학적으로 연구된 예는 드물다. 캐나다 앨버타주의 전기 백악기 맥머레이층에서 시추한 염하구 하도 퇴적층 내의 여러 이암층들은 고농도부유점토류에 의한 퇴적특징을 보인다. 이러한 이암층들을 현미경으로 자세히 관찰하여 3개의 미퇴적상(microfacies, <1~25 mm 두께)으로 구분하였다. 미퇴적상 1은 무구조의 이암(structureless mudstone)으로 주로 점토 입자로 구성되고 무질서하게 분포하는 조립질 입자(조립질 실트~세립질 모래)들을 포함한다. 조립질 입자들을 지지할 수 있는 양력을 지닌 점착성의 이토류, 즉 유성이토가 정지하여 미퇴적상 1이 퇴적된 것으로 해석된다(quasi-laminar plug flow). 미퇴적상 2는 실트엽층을 포함하는 이암(silt-streaked mudstone)으로 산재한 조립질 입자를 포함하는 이암으로 구성되며, 불연속적이고 매우 얇은 실트엽층을 포함한다. 미퇴적상 1과 유사한 조직을 보이므로, 미퇴적상 2도 점착성의 유성이토에 의해 퇴적된 것으로 해석된다. 하지만 불연속적인 실트엽층은 plug 아래에 간헐적이고 약한 난류운동이 있었음을 제시한다(upper transitional plug flow). 미퇴적상 3은 이질 엽층리의 이암(heterolithic laminated mudstone)으로 실트엽층과 점토엽층의 교호로 구성되며, 평행엽층리 또는 저각도 사엽층리를 보이고 간혹 낮은 기복의 연흔 형태를 보인다. 이질 엽층리는 점착성 plug 아래의 난류층에서 입자크기에 따른 분급작용이 일어났음을 지시하며, lower transitional plug flow 아래에서 발달하는 낮은 층면구조에 의해 형성되었을 것으로 해석된다. 이 미퇴적상들은 유속과 부유이토농도에 따라 달라지는 유성이토의 여러 가지 상을 나타낸다고 볼 수 있다. 다른 지역에서 유성이토층을 인지하고 이암의 퇴적작용을 보다 잘 이해하는데 본 연구의 결과가 중요한 지식을 제공하리라 생각된다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The correlation between glucose concentration and parameters was the best at 610nm. 30535 T00401030535 ^x Radiation-induced fibrosarcoma tumors were grown on the flanks of C3H mice. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. Results show the superiority of the proposed method to the conventional method using power spectrum and also its usefulness for the tissue characterization. 30541 T00401030541 ^x This paper describes the implementation of a computerized radial pulse diagnosis by aids of a clinical expert. On this base, we composed of the radial pulse diagnosis system in korean traditional medicine. The system composed of a radial pulse wave detection system and a radial pulse diagnosis system. Then, we have got the characteristic parameters of radial pulse wave and also quantified that according to the method of Inyoung-Cheongu Comparison Radial Pulse Diagnosis. To synthesize microspheres for biomedical application, "two stage shot growth method" was developed. The uniformity ratio of synthesized microspheres was always smaller than 1.05. And the surface charge density (or the number of ionizable functional groups) of the microspheres synthesized by "two stage shot growth method" was 6~13 times higher than that of the microspheres synthesized by conventional seeded batch copolymerization. As a previous step for biomedical application, adsorption experiments of bovine albumin on microspheres were carried out under various conditions. The maximum adsorbed amount was obtained in the neighborhood of pH 4.5. Isoelectric point of bovine albumin is pH 5.0, so experimental result shows that it shifted to acid area. The implemented system allows users to register and retrieve patient information, medical images and diagnostic reports. It also provides the function to display these information on workstation windows simultaneously by using the designed menu-driven graphic user interface.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N.
