Design and Implementation of MDA-based Teaching and Learning Support System (MDA기반 교수-학습지원 시스템 설계 및 구현)

  • It is important to operate an education resources which could be integrated to an system. But most of existing education information system was not developed with standardization. It is need the core education asset and reusable education service to make a good education system. Consequently, it is needed to use Sharable Content Object Reference Model(SCORM) based contents managing in order to reuse the contents of education. And it needs assembling and producing method with reusable core asset of education system to develop the application program for education. In this thesis, we study the Teaching-Learning supporting system to support systematic education resources. Teaching-Learning support system is developed of educational domain assess through development process based on Model Driven Architecture(MDA) and core asset on each stage. Application program of education is developed using MDA automatic tool through analyzing and designing for contents storage which is based on contents meta model. We finally can develop the application software of education with low cost and high productivity by raising the reusability of education contents and by using the core asset to the whole development process.

  • Currently many companies and cyber-universities are investing large amount of time and efforts to develop a standard for Web-based learning contents. Among various standards proposed, SCORM(Sharable Content Object Reference Model) has been especially interested regarding web contents and LCMS(Learning Content Management System), In contrast with corporate and adult education, many seem to be skeptical that SCORM could be applied to K-12 education. In the study, opportunities and limitations of the concept for the learning object in 'SCORM' are examined through analyzing relevant studies and cases. In addition, this study examines the learning object in the pedagogical Perspective, and derives suggestions for applying them to K-12 education.

  • In this paper, based on SCORM Sequencing Model, we propose the learning content structure which has structure informations of learning object and decision rules how to transfer learning object to learner. It is intended to provide the technical means for learning content objects to be easily shared and reused across multiple learning delivery environment. We develop the generation tool of learning object sequencing, for processing the learning with variable teaching methodologies. The teaming objects also are automatically packaged the PIE(Package Interchange File) to transmit with SCORM RTE(Run-Time Environment) and attached SCO(Sharable Content Object) function for tracking learner information.

  • 본 논문에서는 SCORM 기반 시퀀싱 모델을 기반으로 학습객체의 구조에 대한 정보, 학습자에게 학습 객체를 어떻게 전달할 지를 결정하는 규칙 등을 포함하고 있는 컨텐츠 구조를 제시하고 학습 컨텐츠의 재사용과 공유가 가능하고 동일한 학습 컨텐츠에 서로 다른 교수법을 적용하여 교육의 효과를 달리할 수 있도록 시퀀싱을 위한 컨텐츠 패키지 메타데이터 생성기를 개발한다. 또한 학습자 정보 트래킹을 위한 SCO(Sharable Content Object)함수를 부착하여 학습 객체가 SCORM RTE(Run-Time Environment)와 통신 할 수 있도록 PIF(Package Interchange File)로 자동 패키징 시킨다.

  • 미국의 ADL(Advance Distributed Learning)에서 제안한 스콤(SCORM; Sharable Content Object Reference Model)은 2000년 미국 국방부에서 발주한 6억달러에 이르는 e-러닝(e-Learning) 구축 입찰 계약에서 가이드라인으로 쓰여졌다. 용역 입찰 제안서에 스콤을 기초로 해 e-러닝 시스템을 구축하겠다는 내용이 명시돼야만 입찰에 참여할 수 있었던 것이다. 현재 제안된 e- 러닝 기술표준안들에 대한 국제인증 여부와 관계없이 e-러닝 실수요자 및 공급자의 움직임에 따라 이러한 추세는 향후 더욱 확대될 전망이다. 이 글에서는 실질적인 국제 표준으로 가장 근접해 있는 스콤의 내용 및 기술적 특징에 대해 설명하고자 한다.

  • 이전의 SCORM 1.2 와달리 SCORM(SharableConentObjectRefrulceModel)2004는 기술적인 면에 있어서 방대한 정보들을 다루고 있지만 그 사용자들은 SCORM 2004 conformant를 사용하여 교육용 product를 만들 때 어떤 정보가 중요한지 알 필요가 있다. 그렇기 때문에 ADL Technical Team 에서는 그에 필요한 중요한 정보들을 수집하고 구조화하여 사용자들이 새로운 교육용 product를 만들 때 참고할 수 있도록 만들어 놓았다. 이 논문에서는 새로운 교육용 content가 생성될 때 정의되어야 하는 SCORM conformance requirements 와, 관련된 SCORM conformance test suite 에 대해 알아보고 이의 한계점과 개선점을 찾아 새로운 conformance test suite를 제안한다.

  • In ubiquitous environment, the analysis for student's learning behaviour is essential to provide students with personalized education. SCORM(Sharable Contents Object Reference Model), IMS LD (Instructional Management System Learning Design) standards provide the support function of learning design such as checking the progress. However, in case of applying these standards contain many problem to add or modify the contents. In this paper, We implement the system that manages the learner behaviour by hooking the event of web browser. Through all of this, HTML-based content can be recycled without any additional works and the problems by applying the standard can be improved because the store and analysis of the learning result is possible. It also supports the ubiquitous learning environment because of keeping track of the learning result in case of network disconnected.

  • XML(eXtensible Markup Language), next generation internet standard language has the advantage of easy re-use and re-structure in other computing environment because it has the separate data, presentation and structure. In this paper, we implement the efficient retrieval system for the general user by limiting the XML documents on the multimedia learning contents for the virtual education system. The system design is based on SCO Metadata unit defined in SCORM as the proposed virtual education standard. Each XML documents has three indexes - keyword, element and attribute. Also, it makes possible to retrieve data without previous knowledge of the DTD by making the element retrieval screen structure for the user interface. And it gives the user various result screen formats such as XML and HTML by restructuring the retrieval result through XML-QL and XSL, respectively.

  • In this paper, we propose a hardware resource sharable camera control processor (CCP) for low-cost and low-power camera cell phones. The main idea behind the proposed architecture is that adds direct access paths in the CCP to share its hardware resources so that the baseband processor expands its capabilities and boosts its performance by utilizing CCF's hardware resources. In addition, we applied a module grain dock-gating method to reduce power dissipation. Hence, the CCP can realize low-power and low-cost camera cell phones with greater hardware efficiency. This chip was fabricated in a 0.18um CMOS process with an active area of $3.8mm\;{\times}\;3.8mm$.
