Magnetic fields in clusters of galaxies play a critical role in shaping up the intracluster medium. Their existence has been established through observations of synchrotron emission, especially from radio relics and halos, as well as observations of rotation measure. In the so-called Sausage relic, which is one of Mpc-size giant radio relics detected in the outskirts of merging clusters, for instance, the magnetic fields are believed to have a few ${\mu}G$ strength and a Mpc scale. The observed magnetic fields are conjectured to be produced by the process of small-scale turbulence dynamo. To investigate the dynamo origin, we simulate the development of turbulence and the follow-up amplification of magnetic fields in galaxy clusters using a three-dimensional magnetohydrodynamical(MHD) code. Turbulence is induced in highly stratified backgrounds expected in clusters, and driven sporadically mimicking major mergers. We here present preliminary results, aiming to answer whether the turbulence dynamo scenario can explain observed magnetic fields in clusters of galaxies.
The rapid machining of prototypes plays an important role in product process. Rapid Prototyping(RP) is the widespread technology to produce prototype. But, it have many problems such as shrinkage, deformation and formation occurred by hardening of resin and stair shaping, On the contrary, high speed machining(HSM) technology has many advantages such as good quality, low cost and rapid machining time. Moreover, it is possible to use the material of original product. This paper presents manufacture of trial product by HSM and optimization of machining condition for high productivity in the view of manufacturing time and average error. For example, propeller is machined by the surface machining of thin surface parts. Experiments are designed of machining conditions by Latin Square method and machining condition is optimized and selected by ANOVA
The power source of an AC-PDP fur sustainer circuit is operated in high-voltage and high frequency switching during the process required to achieve the gas discharge current to generate light in a PDP panel. Since PDP has the characteristics of a pure capacitive load, the displacement current that occurs during charge and discharge generates considerable reactive power. An auxiliary circuitry called Energy Recovery Circuit (ERC) reduces the capacitive displacement current. However, this auxiliary topology also bears high stress in its components. In this paper, a multilevel voltage wave shaping sustainer circuit with auxiliary ERC characteristics for an AC-PDP driver is proposed. A comparative analysis and experimental results are presented.
This paper presents block and timing diagrams of the DWA(data weighted averaging) to optimize a feedback time delay of the sigma-delta modulator. Through the Matlab modeling, the optimized coefficients of the integrators are obtained to design the modulator. And then the fully differential SC integrators, feedback DAC, 9-level quantizer, and DWA are designed by considering the nonideal characteristics of the modulator. The designed second-order multibit modulator is fabricated in a 0.35$\mu\textrm{m}$ CMOS process. The designed modulator achieves 73dB signal-to-noise ratio and 72dB dynamic range at 1.2Vp-p 585kHz input singal and 52.8MHz sampling frequency.
This paper presents research linking national culture and innovation. The research identifies how key features of Korean culture, collectivism and hierarchical authoritarianism, affect technological innovation. This perspective casts new light on cultural research that, while generally confirming national culture-innovation ties at the organization level, has had less success accounting for culture barriers to innovation in collectivist nations, especially at the interorganizational level. The data for this study was obtained from interviews and written sources. The paper introduces the concept of the social shaping of technology, with which the influence of culture on technological innovation is analyzed, and highlights the development of EDI systems in the collectivist Korean society. It draws attention to the interorganizational basis of collectivism and authoritarianism in the technology innovation process. Finally, Korean innovation systems are questioned, and some negative effects of the collectivist Korean culture at the interorganizational level are discussed.

Thermoforming is one of the most versatile and economical processes available for shaping polymer products, but obtaining a uniform thickness of the final product using this method is difficult. Heater power adjustment is very important because the thickness distribution depends strongly on the distribution of the sheet temperature. In this paper, the steady-state optimum distribution of heater power is first ascertained by a numerical optimization to obtain a uniform sheet temperature. The time-dependent optimal heater input is then determined to decrease the temperature difference through the direction of the thickness using the response surface method and the D-optimal method. The optimal results show that the time-dependent optimum heater power distribution gives an acceptable uniform sheet temperature in the forming temperature range by the end of the heating process.
A transient two-dimensional (2D) model was developed for investigating the heat and fluid flow in old pools and determining velocity profile and temperature distribution for the Gas Metal Arc (GMA) welding process. The mathematical formulation deals with the driving farces (electromagnetic, buoyancy, surface tension and plasma drag forces) as well as energy exchange between the molten filler metal droplet and weld pools. A general thermofluid-mechanics computer program, PHOENICS, was employed to numerically solve the governing equation with the associated source terms. The results of computation have shown that the electromagnetic and surface tension farces as will as the molten filler metal droplet have major influence in shaping the weld pool geometry.
In this paper, we investigate the effect of a LAN traffic on the performance of a shared buffer ATM switch andIWF (interworking function )on a LAN environment through simulations. Firstly, the delay and the buffer occupancy of the switch and IWF are mesured according to the proportion of the LAN traffic to the traffic generated by gernoulli process. Secondly, we investigate the behavior of the switch in the case that LAN traffic is concentrated to a connectionless server, and the effect of LAN traffic shaping at IWF on the delay and the buffer occupancy of the switch.
This article presents how in China mainland a school and a school district find their science teachers. Based on studying relevant materials and years of intensive involvement in teacher education and recruitment practices the authors draw three features of the current secondary science teachers' employment system in China mainland: certification control conducted very loosely selection criteria and process vary with schools and school districts due to the remarkable difference existed among them the normal universities/colleges established originally only for secondary science teacher education still play a vital role in shaping effecting quality of teacher candidates although no one of them for a long time have focused on only doing what they were supposed to do. For further development, changes and essential reform are expected duo to the increasing promotion toward the internal quality of education and therefore high quality of teachers and teacher candidates.
The standard deviation is constant in the progress of Powder Injection Filling, The setting value of the filling amount can modify the numerical rate. Since high level of the numerical rate can get the effect of reducing the material cost, it improves the productivity by permitting the possibility of the economical production. Consequently, this thesis analyzed and suggests the numerical model which consider the economical factors of the Powder Injection Shaping progress, and I try to reinforce the competitive powder of the domestic medicine manufacture industry which face the wave of globalism and evolutionism.
