수도작 포장의 고저차 측정을 위한 최적 받침대 선정 (Selection of Optimum Fulcrum Type for Measurement and Geo-statistical Analyze of Elevation within Rice Paddy Field)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the specificities of four fulcrum types for geo-statistical analysis of elevation within rice paddy field. In Korea, the spaces between inter-rows and between hills for rice transplanting are 30cm and 11cm to 14cm, respectively. So, the size and shape of fulcrum for field elevation measurement should be considered according to the inter-row and the hill spaces. Four kinds of fulcrum were chosen such as round-shape with 2.5cm diameter, circular-shape with 10cm diameter, 10cm (one third of inter-row space) by 24cm (double of hill space) rectangular-shape, and 20cm (two-thirds of inter-row space) by 24cm rectangular-shape. The resulting descriptive statistics couldn't determine the best fulcrum type to measure the rice paddy field elevation. But the results of geo-statistical analysis could determine the best fulcrum type. In the case of 10cm by 24cm rectangular-shape fulcrum, Nugget and range, meaning measurement error and/or noise, and limit of spatial connection, respectively, were minimum; Q value meaning weight of spatial structure and $r^2$ value were minimum, and residual sum of squares was minimum. It means that 10cm by 24 cm rectangular-shape fulcrum could best describe the rice paddy field elevation.

요트세일의 형상계측 기법 연구 (A Study on Shape Measuring Technique of a Yacht Sail)

  • In this study, we introduced image processing technic to measure shape variations of general bodies and applied it to the flexible yacht sail. Shape measurements of simple bodies sails were carried out and results showed that technic can be a reliable method to measure shape variations of the flexible yacht sail. The sail shape variation of 30ft sloop type yacht sail is measured on different sailing conditions. As velocity and direction of wind are increased, trailing edges in the upper part of the sail become more open than the lower part of the sail which are not changed. So it is confirmed that the shape measurement of a sail shape depending on a sailing condition is possible to use image processing scheme.

  • The active shape model(ASM) is one of the most popular methods among the shape prior based segmentation methods based on its strong shape constraints using the statistic of shape information which is acquired from the training set. ASM has a few drawbacks, such as, the lack of shape variability, and the sensitivity for false locally searched points. In this paper, we suggest the patch-wise robust ASM to overcome the limitations of the ASM. In addition to the SSM, we introduce the patch-wise SSM, to reduce the shape inflexibility and to search reliable points with the point reliance measurement. The quantitative and qualitative results show the robustmness and the accuracy of the proposed method.

시각적 판단에 의한 얼굴유형 분류와 계측 특성 연구 (A Study on Women′s Face Types Classification by Visual Distinction and Difference from the Measurement)

  • The purpose of this study was to classify women's face types by visual distinction and to analyze the measurement of face types. A survey was conducted by subjects of 167 women's college students in Kwangju City and Chonnam area. Data were analyzed by Frequencies, Mean, one way ANOVA and Ducan's Multiple Range Test. The major results were as followed ; ·Women's face types were classified by 7 types and there were oblong shape(28.3%), egg shape(25.7%), round shape(23.9%), square shape(12.4%), inverted triangle shape(5.3%), diamond shape(3.5%), triangle shape(0.8%) in the subjects. ·From the measurements of the women's face, index of face length to face breadth was 1.38, it means that the index was different from the other refferences. And the lower face length was longer than the upper and the middle face lengths. ·Differences From those measurements like forehead breadth, face length/bizigion breath(p〈.001), bizigion breadth, bignathion slopper, stature(p〈.01) and trichion breadth, tragion-menton length(p〈.05) were significant in the classified face types.

대형 곡면 부재의 계측 및 비교기술 개발 (A Development of Measurement and Comparison Technique for Large Curved Hull Pieces)

  • 조선소에서 사용되는 선각 외판 부재는 선박 한 척을 건조하는데 사용되는 부재의 수가 매우 많고, 각 가공 외판 부재는 상대적으로 크기가 크고 각각 상이한 부재 형상을 가지고 있다는 특징이 있다. 또한 이 중에서, 선체의 외판 곡 부재를 가공할 때는 각 부재의 초기 형상과 가공 목적형상에 대한 정보를 가지고 냉간, 열간 가공을 통하여 설계된 형상으로 가공을 수행하여야 한다. 이때, 최초 가공 시 및 추가 가공 중에 부재의 형상을 확인하여 주어진 정도에 부합할 때까지 가공을 수행 하여야 하며, 이와 같은 특징 때문에 선체 외판 부재의 가공 시에는 수시로 가공중인 부재의 형상 및 가공정도를 확인하여야 하는 과정, 즉 시간을 최소화하면서 효율적으로 가공형상을 확인하는 대형곡면 계측 기술과, 곡면 비교 기술이 필요하게 된다. 본 논문에서는, 이러한 가공환경 하에서 적용 가능성이 있는 효율적인 계측, 비교를 위한 S/W, H/W 통합 시스템 구축을 수행하였다.

초등학교 남자아동의 모자 제작을 위한 머리부위 측정 및 형태 분석 (Analysis on the Measurement and Shape Classification of the Bead of Korean Male Children for the Headwear Sizing System)

  • This study was aimed to provide the measurement data and shape classification of the head of the Korean male children for the headwear sizing systems. Five hundred twenty male children, aged nine to twelve years, participated f3r this study. The 17 regions on the head and height, weight of the subjects were directly measured by the expert experimenters. Factor analysis, cluster analysis, GLM analysis and Tukey HSD test were performed using these data. Through factor analysis, low factors were extracted upon factor scores and those factors comprised $69.76\%$ for the total variances. Three clusters as their head shape were categorized using four factor scores by cluster analysis. Type 1 was characterized by the widest width and Bitragion arc, shortest head length. Type 2 had the longest head length and the widest side width and the highest head length and head circumference. Type 3 was characterized by the smallest head circumstance, head width and side width, and medium head length.

공동주택 욕실 배기팬의 플랙시블 덕트 시공상태에 따른 환기효율에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Ventilation Efficiency of Apartment Housing Bathroom Based on the Flexible Installation Method of Exhaust Fan.)

  • The ventilation efficiency of apartment housing bathroom has been measured by the flexible's diameter, length, and installation format to the exhaust In. The gas density attenuation method of Tracer Gas Method has been specifically utilized for this measurement. Full size mock-up of apartment housing bathroom, which was approximately $100 m^2$ in size, has been established for the ventilation emciency measurement. In addition, the ventilation efficiency has been studied by the possibility of air-supply In. The diameters of flexible are 100 mm, 125 mm, and 150mm. It also have the length of 1.0m, and 1.5 m. The installation formats are I shape, L shape, and S shape. As a result of this measurement, the flexible which has the highest ventilation efficiency was the one has bigger diameter, short in length, and I shape installation format.

  • This paper proposes a measurement method for the surface shape of micro-parts by using an atomic force microscope(AFM). To this end, two techniques are presented: First, the measurement range is expanded by using an image matching method based on correlation coefficients. To account for the inaccuracy of the coarse stage implemented in AFM, the image matching technique is applied to two neighboring images intentionally overlapped with each other. Second, a method to measure the shape of relatively large specimen is proposed that utilizes the inherent trigger mechanism due to the atomic force. The proposed methods are proved effective through a series of experiments.

  • One of the main problems in 3D shape measuring systems that use the triangulation of line-shaped laser light is precise center line detection of line-shaped laser stripe. The intensity of a line-shaped laser light stripe on the CCD image varies following to the reflection angles, colors and shapes of objects. In this paper, a new center line detection algorithm to compensate the local intensity variation on a line-shaped laser light stripe is proposed. The 3-D surface shape measuring system using the proposed center line detection algorithm can measure 3-D surface shape with enhanced measurement resolution by using the dynamic shape reconstruction with adaptive pattern clustering of the line-shaped laser light. This proposed 3-D shape measuring system can be easily applied to practical situations of measuring 3-D surface by virtue of high speed measurement and compact hardware compositions.

  • In this study, the difference in human body dimensions between the age groups of Generation M (27 to 39 years old) and Generation Z (20 to 26 years old) was analyzed. This study also analyzed if there was a change in the body shape of the MZ generation, who have different sensibilities from the "young people" of the past. In addition, major changes in human body dimensions were carefully analyzed and presented as basic data for clothing design. Therefore, a t-test was performed to verify the significant differences in the measurements of each age group. To examine the change in human body measurements according to the measurement year, the 7th and 8th size Korea data statistics were analyzed. The main required dimensions of clothing design were analyzed graphically for visual changes according to measurement year and age group. As a result of the analysis, Generation Z was found to have a difference in body shape from Generation M, and is generally smaller and slimmer with broader shoulders. In addition, the body shape change between the 7th and 8th measurement periods was significantly higher than the 8th measurement overall. Height has increased and back length has become shorter, resulting in a larger ratio of lower body length. In addition, the proportion of obesity abnormalities has increased. Therefore, since the dimensional system set from the past data can cause problems for the fitting of clothing for the MZ generation, it is necessary to design the clothing and reset the dimensional system making it suitable for the changed the body shape of the MZ generation.
