LED 색광의 음영구역에 대한 살오징어의 행동반응 및 LED 집어등의 어획성능 (Catching efficiency of LED fishing lamp and behavioral reaction of common squid Todarodes pacificus to the shadow section of color LED light)

  • This study made a comparative analysis of behavioral reaction of squid to red (624nm), green (524nm), blue (460nm) & white LED light, its arrival time for the shadow section by making the shadow section in the central section of a water tank just like the bottom part of a squid jigging vessel, and on-site catching efficiency of LED fishing lamp with control fishing vessel. The color LED light showing the highest squidgathering rate as against the shadow section was found to be blue LED light with 39.3% rate under the dark (0.05lx) condition. Under the brighter condition than 0.05lx, white LED light was found to have the highest gathering rate of 41.5%. In addition, it was found that squid gathering rate was high at the shadow section which showed 6.3-fold brightness difference between the shadow section and bright section. As for the arrival time for the shadow section, blue LED light was found to be the fastest in attracting squids in 192.7 seconds under the dark condition while the red LED light was the fastest in luring squids in 164.6 seconds under the bright condition. The ratio of the squid-jigging operation and sailing in fuel consumption of the fishing vessel loaded with LED fishing lamp is about 7 to 1, showing most of the fuel is consumed more in sailing than in squid-jigging operation. As for a catch of squid, the control vessel loaded with MH (Metal Halide) fishing lamp had more catch of 600-7,080 squids than the vessel loaded with LED fishing lamp having a catch of 260-1,700 squids. In addition, even in the comparison of a catch per automatic jigging machine, the catch of the vessel loaded with MH fishing lamp excelled that of the vessel loaded with LED fishing lamp in 6 operations of squid jigging out of 9 operations. The ratio of hand-jigging and automatic jigging machine (one line) in the LED fishing lamp vessel was 1:1.1 excepting the case of having a catch only using an automatic jigging machine, showing almost the same with each other in catches, while in case of a MH fishing lamp vessel, its ratio against hand-jigging was 1 to 5.8, showing hand-jigging excelled in catches.

  • We present a methodology to detect moving shadows in video sequences, which is considered as a challenging and critical problem in the most visual surveillance systems since 1980s. While most previous moving shadow detection methods used hand-crafted features such as chromaticity, physical properties, geometry, or combination thereof, our method can automatically learn features to classify whether image segments are shadow or foreground by using a deep learning architecture. Furthermore, applying Markov Random Field enables our system to refine our shadow detection results to improve its performance. Our algorithm is applied to five different challenging datasets of moving shadow detection, and its performance is comparable to that of state-of-the-art approaches.

펨토초 레이저를 이용한 OLED 용 Shadow Mask Invar 합금의 어블레이션 (Femtosecond Pulsed Laser Ablation of OLED Shadow Mask Invar Alloy)

  • Femtosecond laser ablation of the Invar alloy and hole drilling for a shadow mask are studied. We used a regenerative amplified Ti-sapphire laser with a 1kHz repetition rate, 184fs pulse duration and 785nm wavelength. Femtosecond laser pulse was irradiated on the Invar alloy with air blowing at the condition of various laser peak power. An ablation characteristic of the Invar alloy was appeared non-linear at $125J/cm^2$ of energy fluence. For the application to a shadow mask, the hole drilling of the Invar alloy with the cross section of a trapezoidal shape was investigated. The ablated micro-holes were characterized using an atomic force microscopy(AFM). The optimal condition of hole pattern f3r a shadow mask was $4\;{\mu}m$ z-axis feed rate, 0.2mm/s circular velocity, $26.4{\mu}J$ laser peak power. With the optimal processing condition, the fine circular hole shape without burr and thermal damage was achieved. Using the femtoseocond laser system, it demonstrates excellent tool for the Invar alloy micro-hole drilling without heat effects and poor edge.

회전 표적의 고주파수 후방산란단면적 해석 (High-frequency Back-scattering Cross Section Analysis of Rotating Targets)

  • The high-frequency analysis method of back-scattering cross section spectrum of rotating targets is established. The time history of the back-scattering cross section is calculated using a quasi-stationary approach, based on a physical optics and a physical theory of diffraction, combining an adaptive triangular beam method to consider the shadow effect. And the spectra of back-scattering cross section by the Doppler effect are analyzed applying a simple fast Fourier transform method to its time history. The numerical calculation for rotating targets, such as rotating metal plates and underwater propeller, are carried out. The time history appears to be periodic with respect to the number of wings. The backscattering cross section spectrum level and its frequency shift are dependent on the rotating speed, direction, and the shape of the targets.

초음속/극초음속 풍동(MAF)의 성능 향상을 위한 개조 및 검증 (Modificaion and Performance Test for improving ability of Supersonic/Hypersonic Wind Tunnel(MAF))

  • 초음속 풍동은 실험하고자 하는 모델 주위에 인공적으로 초음속 유동장을 형성하여 모델에 작용하는 현상을 관찰 및 측정하는 실험 장비이다. 이러한 풍동 실험 장비는 비행체 설계에 있어 시제기를 제작하지 않고도 비행체 외형에 대한 공기역학적 특성을 파악하는데 유용하다. 본 연구에서는 러시아에서 제작된 초음속/극초음속 풍동(MAF : The Model Aerodynamic Facility)을 시험 시간 증가 및 활용성 증가를 목적으로 개조하였다. 안전성 확보 및 원격 작동을 위해 공압 밸브를 설치, 실험 시간의 증가를 위해 새 저장 탱크를 설치했다. 설치한 밸브와 탱크를 이용할 수 있도록 배관 시스템을 개조하였다. 또한 광학적 시험을 위하여 시험부의 광학창을 확장하였다. 개조 후 마하수 2,3,4에 대하여 성능 시험을 수행하였다. 유동가시화 기법중 하나인 Shadow graph 기법을 이용하여 초음속 유동장의 형성을 확인하였으며, 마하수 2,3,4에 대하여 Settling Chamber, Working section의 압력측정을 통해 성능 시험을 수행하였다. 결과로부터 해당 초음속 풍동에 사용가능한 모델 크기 및 시험 시간을 도출하였다.

도로설계 평가를 위한 3차원 시뮬레이션 적용 (Application of Simulation for Road Design Evaluation)

  • 2차원적인 도로설계는 설계기준과 운전자의 반응 사이에는 상이한 점이 많아 위험성을 내포하고 있다. 따라서 2차원 도로설계는 시공전에 예측을 하기가 어려운 실정이다. 그러나, 3차원 도로설계는 요구되는 구성요소의 완성 이후 발생하는 문제를 예측할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는, 실제도로에서 도로설계평가를 위하여 설계를 하였다. 그리고 도로설계는 Inroad를 라는 도로설계프로그램을 사용하였다. 또한, 수치지형도와 포고자료를 이용하여 DTM을 생성하였다. 3차원 도로설계는 도로의 DTM 과 지형자료를 합성하여 설계를 하였다. 3차원적으로 도로설계된 것을 이용하여 설계평가를 수행하였다. 도로선형의 안정성 평가를 위하여 운전자 시뮬레이션과 시거분석을 실시하였다. 그리고, 음영시뮬레이션을 통해 도로노면결빙구간의 불량구간을 추출하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과, 본 연구에서는 도로완공후의 모습을 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 시거를 시각적으로 산정을 할 수 있었다. 또한 음영 시물레이션을 의해 도로노면결빙구간을 추출하였다.

PILOMATRICOMA 치험 1례 (A CASE OF PILOMATRICOMA)

  • The pilomatricoma (calcifying epithelioma of Malherbe) is rare benign hard, spherical and freely movable cutaneous tumor, which was differentiated from hair cells, particulary hair cortex cells. It is usually occured as a single, asymptomatic, 0.5 cm to 3.0 cm sized, deep seated, firm nodule, covered by normal or pink skin. It arises chiefly in young people, including children, and most often in the head, neck and upper extrimites. The authers experienced a case of pilomatricoma which occured in preauricular region. This case was summarized as follows. 1. 10 years old female has suffered from hard subepidermal mass on preauricular area and she visited our out patient clinic. So we performed surgical extirpation and the excised specimen was pathologically examined. 2. Grossly the tumor measures 2.0 cm in diameter and firm, bosselated, spherical shaped which covered by a thin layer of fibrous tissue. On cut section, it shows spicular gritty surfaces, well encapsulation, interwoven and keratotic lamellae. 3. Histopathologically, the epithelial masses of the tumor are composed of two type of cells, basophilic cells and shodow cells. The basophilic cells resemble hair matrix cells which posses round or elogated, deeply basophilic nuclei and scanty cytoplasm. The shadow cells show a central, unstained shadow at the site of the lost nucleus. Gradual development of basophilic cells into shadow cells can be observed. Foci of calcification are present within the lobule of shadow cells. The stroma of the tumor shows a considerable foreign body giant cell reaction adjacent to the shadow cells. 4. No recurrence was observed until post-operative 40 months.

하악골에 발생한 Giant-cell Reparative Granuloma

  • The authors have observed a case of giant-cell reparative granuloma which were occurred in the mandible of 30 year old man . 1.The lesion of accompanying inflammation was lacated at the anterior portion of the mandible. 2.Radiograph shows ovoid radiolucent shadow with irregular margin. 3. Microscopic section reveals granulation tissue and many multinucleated gaint cells exist adjacent to the hemorrhagic areas.

NONEXISTENCE OF SOME EXTREMAL SELF-DUAL CODES

  • It is known that if C is an [24m + 2l, 12m + l, d] selfdual binary linear code with $0{\leq}l<11,\;then\;d{\leq}4m+4$. We present a sufficient condition for the nonexistence of extremal selfdual binary linear codes with d=4m+4,l=1,2,3,5. From the sufficient condition, we calculate m's which correspond to the nonexistence of some extremal self-dual binary linear codes. In particular, we prove that there are infinitely many such m's. We also give similar results for additive self-dual codes over GF(4) of length n=6m+1.

Thermal effect on dynamic performance of high-speed maglev train/guideway system

  • Temperature fields and temperature deformations induced by time-varying solar radiation, shadow, and heat exchange are of great importance for the ride safety and quality of the maglev system. Accurate evaluations of their effects on the dynamic performances are necessary to avoid unexpected loss of service performance. This paper presents a numerical approach to determine temperature effects on the maglev train/guideway interaction system. Heat flux density and heat transfer coefficient of different components of a 25 m simply supported concrete guideway on Shanghai High-speed Maglev Commercial Operation Line is calculated, and an appropriate section mesh is used to consider the time-varying shadow on guideway surfaces. Based on the heat-stress coupled technology, temperature distributions and deformation fields of the guideway are then computed via Finite Element method. Combining guideway irregularities and thermal deformations as the external excitations, a numerical maglev train/guideway interaction model is proposed to analyze the temperature effect. The responses comparison including and excluding temperature effect indicates that the temperature deformation plays an important role in amplifying the response of a running maglev, and the parameter analysis results suggest that climatic and environmental factors significantly affect the temperature effects on the coupled maglev system.
