성경험 여자 청소년의 피임실천에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting Contraceptive Use among Adolescent Girls in South Korea)

  • Purpose: This study was done to identify contraceptive practices in adolescent girls in South Korea and predictors of contraceptive practices. Methods: The study sample included 743 girls who had experienced sexual activity. Using statistics from the 12th (2016) Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey, hierarchical logistic regression analysis was conducted. Results: The contraceptive practice rate for adolescent girls was 34%. Contraceptive practice was associated with 'age at first intercourse' and 'sexual intercourse after drinking'. For adolescent girls who had early sexual initiation and drank alcohol before sexual intercourse there was a tendency to reduce the practice of contraception. Conclusion: It is necessary to provide practical sex education to improve the practice of contraception in these adolescents. In addition, adolescent girls should be encourage to delay their first intercourse. The results of this study can also be used to develop education interventions regarding healthy sexuality behaviour including the practice of contraception.

중년여성의 갱년기 증상과 성만족과의 관계 연구 (Relationship between Climacteric Symptoms and Sexual Satisfaction in Middle-aged Women)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the relationship between climacteric symptoms and sexual satisfaction in middle-aged women. Method: Self-selection was used to recruit, for the study, 272 middle-aged women between 40 and 59 years of age from 2 metropolitan areas and 2 provinces in Korea. The questionnaire included information on demographic characteristics, climacteric symptoms and sexual satisfaction. Result: The results are as follows: 1. The mean/item climacteric symptom score was 1.91 and the mean sexual satisfaction score was 38.19.2. Climacteric symptoms were significantly influenced by age, education, economic status, frequency of abortions and menopausal status. Sexual satisfaction was influenced significantly by age, education, economic status and menopausal status. 3. There was a significant negative correlation between climacteric symptoms and sexual satisfaction (r=-.24, p =.0002). Conclusion: Sexuality should be considered when developing nursing strategies for middle-aged women, especially when dealing with climacteric symptoms.

가정과 교육내용의 유용성 인지에 관한 연구 -중학교 ‘가족과 일의 이해’ 단원을 중심으로 - (A study on students′ utility cognition of Home Economics course)

  • This study was designed to examine students' utility cognition and related variables on the ‘understanding of family and work’ in the Home Economics course. The subjects were 503 middle and high school students, and university students in Jeonju city. The results are as follows : 1) The level of utility cognition on the ‘attitude of sexuality’ was found to be relatively high in the Home Economics course. 2) There were gender difference in the evaluation of learning environment. and grade differences in the evaluation of learning environment, participation in class of Home Economics, needs for Home Economics, evaluation of learning environment. 3) The utility cognition of Home Economics course significantly differed by gender, participation in class of Home Economics. needs for Home Economics, evaluation of learning environment. and Perception of Home Economics. 4) The needs for Home Economics emerged as the most important variable in the utility cognition of Home Economics course.

노인 성교육 프로그램이 요양보호사의 성에 대한 지식, 태도 및 대처에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Sex Education Program on Careworkers' Knowledge, Attitudes and Coping toward Sexuality of the Elder)

  • 본 연구는 노인요양시설에서 노인에게 전인적 돌봄을 제공하는 요양보호사의 노인의 성에 대한 긍정적 태도와 지식을 가지고 적절하게 대응할 수 있도록 하기 위해 요양보호사를 위한 노인 성교육 프로그램을 개발하고 노인 성교육 프로그램이 요양보호사의 성에 대한 지식, 태도 및 대처에 미치는 효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 노인 성교육 프로그램은 4주 프로그램으로 주 1회 120분씩 총 4회 실시하였다. 2012년 9월 10일부터 10월 10일까지 H지역의 H노인요양시설에서 요양보호사 실험군 19명과 S지역의 S노인요양시설 요양보호사 대조군 18명 총 37명을 대상으로 프로그램 실시 전 후 사전 사후조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/PC WIN 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 실수와 백분율, 평균과 표준편차, Shapiro-Wilk test, Fisher의 정확한 검증, Paired t-test, Indepent Samples t-test, Wilcox signed rank test, Mann-Whitney test로 분석하였다. 연구 결과 성교육프로그램을 받은 요양보호사는 교육을 받지 않은 요양보호사에 비해 성교육프로그램을 적용한 후 성에 대한 지식은 증가하였으나, 태도와 대처는 유의한 변화가 나타나지 않았다. 따라서 노인요양시설 요양보호사의 개방적인 성태도와 효율적인 대처를 위해서는 대상자의 특성을 고려한 장기적이고 구체적인 교육프로그램의 개발이 필요하다고 하겠다.

비행 청소년의 성에 대한 경험, 태도, 지식에 관한 연구 (A Survey of Sexual Behavior, Attitude and Knowledge of Juvenile Delinquence Adolescents)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate of the sexual behavior, attitude and knowledge of delinquence adolescents. Data were collected by self-report from 224 delinquence adolescents of the juvenile protection and education organizations in Gwangju city from June 18 to 21, 2002 in Korea. The results were as follows; The concern of subjects on sexual education was pregnancy, delivery and miscarriage(17.4%), date with boy-girl mends(13.9%) and sexually transmitted disease/AIDS(13.1%). The experiences of sexual behavior was masturbation(86.5%), sexual intercourse(79.6%), sexual desire(70.0%) and pregnancy(27.6%). There were statistically significant differences between age and contraception(p<0.05), age and pregnancy(p<0.05). The average score for sex attitude was 38.32. The average score for sex knowledge was 7.65. There were statistically significant correlation between sex attitude and sexual intercourse(p<0.01), sex knowledge and intercourse(p<0.05), sex knowledge and contraception(p<0.05), sex attitude and pregnancy (p<0.05), sex knowledge and sexual desire(p<0.05). In conclusion, juvenile delinquence adolescents should be educated on sexuality continuously to express there sexual behavior patterns with the right morality and knowledge in any sexual arousal situation.

피임과 인공임신중절에 대한 여고생의 지식 및 태도 (Knowledge and Attitude of High School Girls on the Contraception and Induced Abortion)

  • Purpose: The objective of this study is to investigate the knowledge and attitude on the contraception and induced abortion in female high school students for providing the fundamental data in developing a practical sexuality education program for the healthy conception and childbirth in female high school students who are in the child-bearing age. Also, this study provides some foundational data for developing prevention education, counsel, and nursing intervention programs. Methods: Data were collected from 270 high school girls by self-report questionnaires from August 1, to September 31, 2010. Data was analyzed by percentage and Pearson correlation coefficient using SPSS/WIN 17.0. Results: The correct rate of contraception and induced abortion were 43.3% and 48.8% respectively. Participants had a moderate attitude toward contraception and a permissive attitude toward induced abortion. Participants who had high score and home sex education were higher correct rate than any other. Conclusion: This study indicates that efforts should be made to provide education on contraception and induced abortion to high school girls to increase awareness. Also, educational programs should be designed to improve knowledge as well as promote a more positive attitude toward contraception and induced abortion.

중학생의 성교육 실태 및 프로그램 효과분석 (Condition and Effect of Sex Education Program for Korean Middle School Students)

  • Objectives: School must provide the proper sex education to students, thereby, the students for have right standards of sexuality and preventing from sexual crimes. This study conducted to identify the effectiveness and students' satisfaction level on Sex education program for middle school students prepared by the Ministry of Education and Human Resources. Methods: The sample size of the study was 644 students(458 female students and 186 male students) in middle school. A self reporting type of questionnaire survey was conducted from May 2 through May 27, 2005. Collected data were processed using SPSSwin 12.0; The data were analysed through t-test, stepwise multiple regression analysis. Results: Lectures and audiovisual materials were mostly used for sex education for students. Many students were satisfied with the program of physical and sexual organ development, pregnancy, contraceptive methods and sexual abuse. Many students wanted to study more on courtship, love, and marriage. The programs which the students did not understand well were sexually transmitted diseases, pregnancy and mass media and sex. Forty six percentage of the students reported that they were satisfied with the education program. Thirty three percentage of the students said that they were not satisfied with the program. The students who had earlier menstruation experience and the students whose academic achievement were higher were more satisfied with sex education program (P<.05). The students who were satisfied with the sex education CD prepared by the ministry of education were more satisfied with sex education program. (P<.001). When the CDs were appropriately used, the students were more satisfied with the education program (P<.05). The sound and pictures in the CD did not much affect the students. Audiovisual programs were more effective than lectures.

노인 평생교육 참여 동기 유형이 교육만족도와 삶의 변화에 미치는 영향 (Effects that the Type of Participation Motivation of Lifelong Education for the Elderly Influences in the Satisfaction of Education and Life-changing)

  • 본 연구는 노인 평생교육 참여 동기 유형이 교육만족도와 삶의 변화에 미치는 영향이 있는지 분석하고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 65세 이상 평생교육프로그램에 참여했던 노인 340명을 대상으로 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인구사회학적 변인 중 성별, 학력, 월 용돈, 배우자에만 교육만족도와 삶의 변화에 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교육만족도와 삶의 변화에서 학습 지향유형이 활동 지향유형에 비해 교육만족도도 높고, 삶의 변화도 많이 느끼는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 교육만족도를 종속변인으로 하고 교육 참여 동기 유형의 하위 변인들을 독립변인으로 하여 회귀분석을 한 결과 학습지향과 목표지향 유형만 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 교육 참여 동기 유형에 따라 삶의 변화 영향이 있는지 검증한 결과 가정, 사회 여가, 신체 정서, 행복감, 삶의 변화 전체에서 학습 지향 유형과 목표지향유형이 영향이 있는 것으로 나타났다.

중학교 가정교과의 열린교육 활성화를 위한 수업 모듈 및 웹 기반 교육자료 개발 (Development of Instructional Modules and Web-based materials for Promoting Active Implementation of Open Home Economics Education In Middle School)

  • This study is about open and secondary level Home Economics Education which is applicable to field and which includes the characteristics, purpose and problems of each open education, secondary education and home economics education. Based on the ideology of open education this study will identify the meaning of openness in terms of Home Economics Education reconstructing meaning purpose, characteristics, curriculum paradigm and curriculum. The instructional model and module which use web, will be presented as the results o the reconstruction works. The open instructional module in Home Economics Education which will be operated on the web is consisted of 1) setting the orientation of curriculum development 2) instructional model development 3) rebuilding the Home Economics Education curriculum 4)development of instructional modules and web-based materials and 5)construction of the web-site. Six instructional module begin with critical/emancipatory curriculum paradigm in open Home Economics Education use module as a unit of class management instead of 1 class, facilitates nest-type integration which is applied from open education keeping the nature of Home Economics Education and focus on practical problem and problem solving through reconceptualization with dialectical perspective on individual, family and society. The practical problem solving model has four steps: Identifying practical problems. Understanding the contexts of problem, Searching for solutions and examining its consequences, Action and evaluation. The web-site has to be developed based on the six instructional module includes those issues : self-identification for reinforcing autonomy and self-esteem, living with family living with friends, autonomous living healthy living and understanding sexuality.

청소년의 성폭력 개념 및 원인에 대한 인식 연구 (A Study on the Concept and Cause of Sexual Abuse perceived by Adolescents)

  • 청소년의 성폭력 개념과 원인에 대한 인식을 규명하기 위해 중 고등학생 694명을 대상으로 설문지 조사를 실시한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년의 성폭력에 대한 인식정도를 유형별로 볼 때. '신체적성폭력'을 성폭력이라고 인식하는 정도가 가장 높았고 그 다음이 '언어적성폭력', '심리적성폭력 순이었다. 성별로는 남학생이 여학생보다 신체적 성폭력을 성폭력으로 인식하는 정도가 훨씬 낮았다. 이는 남학생은 일반적으로 신체적 성폭력의 가해자인 남성의 입장에 서서 자기중심적으로 사고하기 때문인 것이다. 따라서 성폭력 예방을 포함한 성교육은 여학생보다 남학생에게 더욱 필요하다고 하겠다. 반면 나이에 따른 차이를 보면, 고둥학생이 중학생보다 심리적 성폭력을 성폭력이라고 인식하는 경향이 적었다. 이는 생활연령이 증가할수록 음란물에 노출되는 경험이 많아져 성폭력의 범위를 축소시켜 인식한 결과이다. 따라서 성폭력 예방을 위해서는 주위환경의 정화가 무엇보다 우선되어야 할 것이다. 둘째, 청소년이 인식하는 성폭력 원인을 유형별로 살펴보면 청소년은 사회 환경'을 가장 높은 성폭력 원인으로 인식하였고, 그 다음으로 '지역사회역할'을 지적하여 성폭력 근절을 위해서 주위 환경이 중요함을 다시 한번 일깨워주고 있다. 또한 성폭력 원인에 있어서 남학생은 피해자를 성폭력 원인으로 인식하고 있음으로써 남학생에 대한 성교육의 필요성을 강력히 말해주고 있다.
