Modelling of IMU Error with Setteing Misalignment in Laboratory Test (실험실 시험 장착오차를 고려한 관성측정장치 오차 모델링)

  • The errors of IMU(Inertial Measurement Unit) can be divided into deterministic and random errors. Since the required accuracy of the IMU is very high, the errors must be compensated by using an accurate error mode. In this paper, we present a method to get a more accurate error model in a laboratory test. This was done by considering the setting misalignment in the laboratory test in the IMU error model. We considered here the IMU which consits of DTG(dynamically tuned gyroscope) and pendulum type accelerometer. First, it was shown that the estimation result from the model which does not contain the setting misalignment gives considerable estimation error at the validation test. Second, a new model considering the setting misalignment was derived. Finally, by validation test using the estimation results from new model the validity of it was proved.

  • Korea Power System Protection Setting Rule was used from the rectify 1990's. Thereafter transmission voltage is raised the voltage into 765kV, and introduction to new technology of Power System, and was many of variation but, it is using. The present is using Digital type distance relay for 765kV transmission line protection. If impedance value of transmission line were to value lower than setting, this would be operating and relay setting rule is for 85% into Zone 1 self section, and Zone 2 is a 125%, Zone 3 is a 225%. Which's $15{\sim}25%$ include current transformer error 5%, potential transformer 5%, relay calculation error 5% and margin factor from the field experience. This paper is discussed transmission protective relay and relay setting rule of high voltage power system and we verify the correctness relay setting rule with distance relay using Matlab simulation.

Error Rate Analysis according to Setting of the Reference Point for Calculating the Flood Runoff that using Surface Image Velocimeter (SIV) (표면영상유속계(SIV)를 활용한 홍수유출량 산정 시 참조점 설정에 따른 오차율 분석)

  • In this study, according to the reference setting based on the runoff video of 9:00 where the highest water level of 3.94 m has been recorded during the runoff of Cheon-mi Stream in Jeju Island by the attack of Typhoon no. 16 Sanba on September $17^{th}$, 2012, the error rate of long-distance and short-distance velocimetry and real-distance change rate by input error have been calculated and the input range value of reference point by stream has been suggested. In the reference setting process, if a long-distance reference point input error occurs, the real-distance change rate of 0.35 m in the x-axis direction and 1.35 m in y-axis direction is incurred by the subtle input error of 2~11 pixels, and if a short-distance reference point input error occurs, the real-distance change rate of 0.02 m in the x-axis direction and 0.81 m in y-axis direction is incurred by the subtle input error of 1~11 pixels. According to the long-distance reference point setting variable, the velocity error rate showed the range of fluctuation of at least 14.36% to at most 76.06%, and when calculating flux, it showed a great range of fluctuation of at least 20.48% to at most 78.81%.

  • In order to reduce the systematic error of a build-up system, we have proposed a new test procedure in which all force transducers in a build-up system are rotated by 90.deg. with a base platen fixed on a force standard machine. The setting positions of force transducers on the output of a build-up system were investigated using an orthogonal array. The effects of the parallelism of a build-up system and of the bending moment sensitivity of a force transducer were considered. The experimental results show that the setting position of the base platen hardly affects the output of the build-up system, but the setting positions of force transducers affects it strongly. It reveals that the new test procedure reduces effectively the systematic error of a build-up system.

  • The digital current differential relaying scheme is widely used for primary protection of 765(kV) power transformer. The current differential relay pickup the internal fault at the threshold which is set at 30% of rating current. Margin of 30% include current transformer error 5%, relay error 5%, on load tap changer error 7% and margin factor 140% obtained from the field experience. In this paper transformer protection relay and relay setting rule of high voltage power system are discussed. And we verify the correctness of relay setting rule with current differential relay using Matlab simulation.

  • In this paper, we studied the error compensation using an error budget method for repeatability improvement of the precision positioning system. The precision positioning system is developed for micro-pressing machine. We performed the force and displacement analysis about parts of the system. Proposed system determines the position and orientation of the materials manufactured by micro-pressing machine. It is consisted of x-y-z linear stages setting the position, and the gripper system setting the orientation. We executed kinematic and dynamic modeling of the whole precision positioning system.   • In this paper, the protective relay setting rules of Korean electric power system are studied by analysis of errors to be considered. An accurate operation of protective relays with accurate settings are important in power system reliability. The setting rules are used from the first establishment in 1982 and revision in 1990 Therefore, it needs revise and analysis of the setting rules because of environmental changes such as voltage raise or applied new technology of power system. Two major setting rules are studied. One is the rule for Zones of distance relay for transmission lines. The other is the one of differential current in a differential relay for power transformers. The range of errors in the setting rules accepted in the field experience is studied in simulation of case study. Also some guide lines for the range of errors in the setting rules are presented from the case study using Matlab simulation.

  • Many numerical computations in science and engineering can only be solved approximately since the available infomation is partial. For instance, for problems defined ona space of functions, information about f is typically provided by few function values, $N(f) = [f(x_1), f(x_2), \ldots, f(x_n)]$. Knwing N(f), the solution is approximated by a numerical method. The error between the true and the approximate solutions can be reduced by acquiring more information. However, this increases the cost. Hence there is a trade-off between the error and the cost.

Error Analysis of General X-ray Examination by Using Simulation Training (시뮬레이션 교육을 통한 일반 X선 검사의 오류 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to present simulation training model for general X-ray examinations and to analyze the errors that occur during the simulation training. From 2012 to 2018, a total of 183 students (77 men and 106 women) participated. The simulated X-ray system used computed radiography (CR) system. The contents of simulation training were patient's care, X-ray examinations accuracy, images stability, etc. As a result, it were found that the patient's position setting error, the accuracy error of the X-ray beam central ray, the image receptor's size and setting error, the error of the grid use, the marking error, and the error of X-ray exposure technical factors. It is expected that improved practical general X-ray examinations training of radiographer will be needed, focusing on these errors, so that we could contribute to the health care of the people by providing precise examinations and high quality medical service.
