PLC에 의한 8축 동기제어의 구현 (A Study on 8- Axis Servo Sync Control method and Implementation Using PLC Position Control Module)

  • The systematic function of the PLC (Programmable - Logic Controller) has been enhanced immensely due to the various special modules that consist of the conventional I/O control contants plus special function, which enables the flexible application to highly advanced systems. Position control module is one of the various PLC special module. In this paper, we proposed new synchronized operating method and implemented 8 - axis servo control system. The validity of proposed method is verified througth experimental results and it will be possible to expand 32 - axis servo control system by RS - 485 communication spec.

  • The Auto Tuning Controller is designed using Fuzzy set theory. And to verify its validity it is Applied to the Auto Tuner of hydraulic Control System. Fuzzy Tuning Procedures are written by linguistic model and translated into C language formation by preprocessor. Then it is executed with state feedback controller in real time, Fuzzy Logic Controller adjusts state feedback gain by proper tuning logic in each step to satisfy the desired maximum overshoot and settling time.

  • Variable Structure Controller(VSC) is usually known to have robustness to bounded exogenous disturbances. The robustness is attributed to the discontinuous term in the control input. However, this discontinuous term also causes an undesirable effect called chattering. To alleviate chattering, a hybrid controller consisting of VSC and Fuzzy Logic Controller(FLC) is proposed, which belongs to the category of Fuzzy Sliding Mode Controller(FSMC). The role of FLC in FSMC is to replace a fixed gain of a discontinuous term with a time-varying one based on a specified rule base. The characteristics of proposed controller are shown to be similar to those of VSC with a saturation function instead of sign function. The only remarkable difference is the nonlinearity whose form can be adjusted by free parameters, normalize gain, denormalize gain, and membership functions. Applied to AC servo motor, the proposed controller is compared with VSC in a regulation problem as well as a speed tracking problem. The simulation results show a substantial chatter reduction.

  • In this paper, we are applied the Genetic Algorithm (GA) to design of fuzzy logic controller (FLC) for a DC Servo-Motor Speed Control. GA is used to design of the membership functions and scaling factor of FLC. To evaluate the performances of the proposed FLC, we make an experiment on FLC for the speed control of an actual DC servo-motor system with nonlinear characteristics. Experimental results show that proposed controller have better performance than those of PD controller.

  • Recently, digital techniques have been applied to servo systems of the home VCR, which result in high accuracy, high stability and a small number of parts required. The servo systems are now becoming more compex because the latest home VCRs are stringly required to have many functions. Given these circumstances, software servo concepts were introduced to the VCR servo system with microprocessor. But there are some difficulties in the conventional digital PID controller, eg. caculating the exact gains or dynamics. In this paper, we introduce FLC(Fuzzy Logic Controller) to the speed/phase control for VCR drum motor. To show the usefulness of the proposed controller, some studies are discussed by simulation and experiment.

  • 논문은 서보계에 퍼지제어를 위하여 퍼지 $\alpha$-레벨 집합 분해에 기초하한 퍼지추론 계산식이 유도 되었다. 유도한 계산식에 기초한 PI+PD형 퍼지 제어기는 퍼지 추론에서 비퍼지화까지 일체형으로 구성되어 PWM 조작량 u를 발생하는 퍼지 로직 회로가 제안되었다. 시뮬레이션에 의해 퍼지추론의 $\alpha$-레벨의 효과가 검토되어 직류 서보계의 퍼지제어에서 $\alpha$-레벨 양자화수는 4단계이면 충분한 것을 알 수 있다. 제안한 하드웨어 퍼지제어기는 직류 서보계의 위치제어에 시뮬레이션과 실험이 성공적으로 행할 수 있었다.

  • An experimental and theoretical study on a pneumatic servo system has been conducted using on-off valves and a pneumatic cylinder. A V/I converter has been designed for rapid rising and falling of the solenoid current, which significantly improves the positioning accuracy and settling time of the servo system by shortening the valve opening time. Pulse width modulation was modified to operate on-off valves effectively. A state feedback controller which feeds back position, velocity and acceleration is used to control the system. The influence of controller gains on the system performance is studied to develop a scheme that automatically adjusts the gains using fuzzy logic theory. It is shown experimentally that the proposed fuzzy logic tuner works satisfactorily. A new method for measurements of valve effective areas is proposed, and a partially polytropic model is applied to simulation of the pneumatic system. Simulated results show good agreement with experimental data.

  • A position control system of D.C. Servo motor based on discrete variable structure system with sliding mode is presented. The sliding mode has been designed for a continuous system, but it is often realized in digital fashion because the complex switching logic can be easily carried out. In digital control system, the ideal sliding mode does not occur since the structure can't be switched during sampling interval. However, there can be exist a motion which is confined to a regoin including the sliding surface and proceeds to the origin along the surface. This notion is called quasisliding mode. In this paper, we introduce this control scheme to the D.C. Servo motor position control in order to reduce the chattering phenonenon.

Fuzzy Servo Design for Electromechanical System

  • In this paper, a fuzzy logic is applied to a model-following control(MFC) to form a fuzzy model following control(FMFC). The feedback gain the MFC is adjusted continuously through the fuzzy logic rule. The proposed fuzzy-MFC is applied to synthesize controllers for linear time inveriant(LTI) systems with parameter uncertainties, and the robustness results of the proposed designs are compared.

  • 퍼지논리 제어에서 정적인 퍼지규칙은 플랜트나 환경 파라메터의 중대한 변화에 대처할 수 없다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 지금까지 스스로 조직화하는 퍼지제어 및 신경망에 기초한 뉴로퍼지등의 기법이 도입되었다.그러나 이러한 기존 방법들은 동적으로 변화된 퍼지 규칙이 완전하지 않거나 모순될 수 있음으로 해서 퍼지 제어기를 위험한 상황에 처하게 할수도 있다. 본 논문에서는 예측 신경망을 사용하여 새로운 적응퍼지 제어기법을 제안한다.제안된 퍼지제어기는 비록 제어 플랜트나 환경 파라메터가 변화할지라도 초기의 완전하고 모순되지 않은 퍼지 규칙과 계속해서 학습하는 예측 신경망의 예측에러를 이용하여 제어출력을 안전하게 적응적으로 변화시켜간다. 직류 서보모터의 위치제어문제를 이용하여 실험해본 결과 제안한 방법이 적응면에서 매우 유용함을 보였다.
