A Study on Service Satisfaction Factor Analysis of an On-line Secondhand Bookstore (온라인 중고서점의 서비스 만족 요인 분석에 관한 연구)

  • In the past, customers utilize a secondhand book market as a major counter for their purchasing used books. With expansion of internet and IT devices, many customers would like to buy their used books in an on-line secondhand book store which has more price competitiveness and ease. Nowadays a new concept off-line secondhand book market which has the advantages of both on-line and off-line is a growing trend instead of existing secondhand book markets in the economic recession. In this study, we established customer service satisfaction for 'Aladin store', which is the advanced concept off-line secondhand book store, with the most typical service quality test technique SERVQUAL. First, we selected appropriate service quality factor for the advanced concept off-line secondhand book market such as Aladin store. After that, we analyzed which factors are influencing repurchase intentions, through customer survey. The conclusion provides the secondhand book store's service quality improvement and strategy toward customer satisfaction including the existing used book stores.

Utilization of Computer System for Outpatient's Dispensing Affairs in Hospital Pharmacy (병원약국의 외래조제업무에 대한 컴퓨터의 이용)

  • Hospital pharmacy services are divided into dispensing affairs for inpatients and outpatients, pharmaceutical service, stock control, intravenous admixture service, drug information service, pharmacokinetic consultation service, education and research work, etc. But among those affairs, dispensing affair for outpatient is perceived as the most important work in Korea, because it is linked directly with hospital service for patients. Therefore, total computer system for dispensing area was adopted from opening point of hospital in 1989 in Asan Medical Center. Utilization of computer system for outpatient dispensing area is as follows; 1) Order communication system of prescription by Total Hospital Information System, 2) Automatic print-out system of direction for use by sticker connected with on-line net work, 3) Use of automatic tablet counting and packaging machines connected with on-line net work. Those computer system resulted in curtailment of pharmacy manpower and shortening of waiting-time for outpatient.

  • 765kV Transmission line is retained and operated by KEPCO(Korea Electric Power Corporation), and KPS(Korea Power Plant Service & Engineering) has been taking charge of maintenance service. KPS is doing characteristic maintenance and inspection for 765kV lines for example preventive patrol, routine patrol(every 6-month), and close inspection(every 5-year), This paper presents the optimum maintenance methods and the related standards for 765kV line. This result will use to stabilize of 765kV lines.

  • This paper aims to suggest the feasibility of rapid operation scheme generated in preceding study, 'A study on development of operation planning for rapid service in urban railway(An introduction)' through application it to present subway lines in Seoul Metropolitan area. In case of line 3, without the Passing Track 'Turning train outstrip mode' is the best policy. In case of line 4, with the Passing Trank 'Passing track mode' may be the best way to realize the this scheme. Also, there is feasibility in the line 1, line 5, line 6, line 7 but there is no possibility it is applied to line 2 and line 8. In conclusion, this paper is intend to suggest the possibility of rapid operation in urban railway by presenting real operation scheme, time tables and amount of power usage and the number of composing trains and variety of demand,

Empirical Analysis of Substitution or Complementary Effect Between WiBro and Existing Telecommunication Service (와이브로서비스와 기존 정보통신서비스간의 대체/보완관계 실증분석)

  • When new services are introduced, interaction among existing and new services has to be considered. The interaction can be characterized by the substitution or complementary effect among services. This paper analyzes how the interaction among services affects the customers' subscription decision in telecommunication services industry. Based on a face-to-face in-depth survey from a sample of 1,200 respondents, a new wireless internet access service or WiBro is analyzed to identify the substitution/complementary effect in relation to the existing other telecommunication services. Additionally, the important factors explaining both customers' subscription and substitution decisions are identified. The analysis results indicate that males and students are more likely to subscribe WIBro service. Interestingly, family size positively affects the subscription decision. However, heavy users of on-line game are reluctant to subscribe WiBro service. Among the potential WiBro subscribers, the customers who are less satisfied with the existing fixed line broadband internet access service are more likely to stop subscribing the fixed line service, which implies substitution by a new service. We believe that the consideration of the interactions among services is essential to devise a winning strategy for the new services in the highly uncertain telecommunications business environment.

Implementation of Notch Filter Emulator for Wireless Interference Signal Cancellation under Power Line Communication Environment (전력선 통신 환경에서 무선 간섭 신호를 제거하기 위한 Notch Filter Emulator 구현)

  • Today is the Information age which Internet service acts a most important Information Source. So the Power Line Communication has been achieved to offer Internet service for Last-Mile area. And Research is achieved to frequence range from 30MHz to 80MHz for High-speed communication service. But, Power Line is not suitable for communication, So, electric wave is generated from flow of communication information. And the electric wave is interfered with Wireless Communication Service using the same frequence range. In this paper, a Notch Filter for reduce of interference between Power Line Communication and Wireless Communication Service is proposed. The proposed emulator is developed using TMS320C6416T DSP board of Texas Instruments.

And we applied a Notch Filter and verified the application performance from Spectrum and BER.

  • In this paper, the survey and the analysis of domestic and foreign for on-line monitoring system at low voltage facilities example for value added service about electrical safety were executed. According to survey, in Japan, they are executing the on-line electrical facilities monitoring in based on IT basic law for the information of society construction and not only electrical safety but also value added service such as alarm for earthquake, security are being done. In USA and Europe using power line communication(PLC), the on-line observation and building district management service were being realized. Observing the domestic case, electrical safety related with service such as distribution panel product incorporating load management and leakage current measurement was being executed in some companies. From the survey, it is necessary to improve on the law and the system for market activity in domestic.

A Simple Multispectral Imaging Algorithm for Detection of Defects on Red Delicious Apples

  • Purpose: A multispectral algorithm for detection and differentiation of defective (defects on apple skin) and normal Red Delicious apples was developed from analysis of a series of hyperspectral line-scan images. Methods: A fast line-scan hyperspectral imaging system mounted on a conventional apple sorting machine was used to capture hyperspectral images of apples moving approximately 4 apples per second on a conveyor belt. The detection algorithm included an apple segmentation method and a threshold function, and was developed using three wavebands at 676 nm, 714 nm and 779 nm. The algorithm was executed on line-by-line image analysis, simulating online real-time line-scan imaging inspection during fruit processing. Results: The rapid multispectral algorithm detected over 95% of defective apples and 91% of normal apples investigated. Conclusions: The multispectral defect detection algorithm can potentially be used in commercial apple processing lines.

  • The copyrights of music in Korea have been placed under the supervision of the associations which the government approved as a trusteeship. Since the industry of music in Korea has been changed from phonographic industry to on-line music service, it is required increasingly that the rights and interests of music should been protected. Korea government has been announced the amendment for levy of music royalties through on-line service according to the changes in the music industry and industries' demand. In this paper, the corporate structures in music industry has been investigated from the point of owner of copyright, recently at the heart of the debate, flat rate system and usage-based pricing in on-line music market has been compared. Consequently, the reasonable prices of music service through on-line market are not earmarked in reality for both consumers and copyright proprietors.
