서비스 청사진을 이용한 병원서비스 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Hospital Service Using Service Blueprint)

  • We assess service delivery system for outpatients of general hospital(A) using service blueprint. Service blueprint for outpatients' service process currently being implemented in general hospital(A) is analysed to improve hospital services and define hospital service delivery system more accurately. In addition, comparative analysis of service blueprint between before and after improvement is conducted to find that health care services Is now more customer-oriented and hospital employees can link their duties to service delivery system. Dealing with the efficiency of health care service delivery system based on service blueprint analysis is expected to pave the way for continual service quality improvement of general hospitals in the future. The analysis of service blueprint of outpatients' service process suggested in this study is useful for setting strategies for health care service. It also helps service process design and service digitalization of other general hospitals in the future.

  • 본 연구는 배달음식 서비스품질에 대한 주요요인을 찾고, 선행 연구에서 배달음식 서비스품질의 상호 중요도를 확인하여 각 요인의 중요도 순위를 도출하였다. 이를 위해 계층분석과정 (Analytic Hierarchy Process, AHP)을 이용한 의사결정모형을 사용하여 상호 평가를 정량화하는 과정을 수행하였다. 연구분석 결과, 배달 서비스품질은 배달음식 서비스품질의 주요인이며, 특히 주문 서비스품질과 음식 서비스품질은 배달음식 서비스품질의 핵심요인으로 나타났다. 주문 서비스품질의 세부요인은 편의성과 정확성이 중요하며, 배달음식 서비스품질을 통해 배달비의 세부요인을 기본료, 할인, 면제 순으로 중요하게 인식하고 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 본 연구 결과는 배달음식 서비스품질에 대한 분석뿐만 아니라 배달 정보 서비스품질 향상에도 이바지할 것으로 기대한다.

  • In the recent a mobile internet makes a change in internet business. The mobile internet service is resulting in M-commerce. Even if M-commerce provides only information service, there will be much possibilities to make applications in various areas such as, delivery service, trading service, banking service etc. in the near future. Delivery service requires many steps in processing, originally. This study is designed to implement a mobile system which makes short in delivery process. It includes that a delivery man receives a signature on a paper and input data at the delivered place by using PDA at hand. The mobile system will be contributed to shorten delivery speed. It is proposed to implement the mobile office system for improving service efficiency in the business of delivery service.   • In the postal delivery service, both the standardization of business process and the workload measurement is very important part of saving the cost and improving the efficiency. However, these are not easy to apply to real situation because of the labor-intensive and diversification of delivery environment. In this study, we develop the methodology for the standardization of business process and workload measurement model of the postal delivery service. Firstly, we introduce the work factor analysis on the postal delivery process. Then, we propose the methodology workload measurement model based on diversification of delivery environment.

  • According to software growth, also software maintenance has been continuously improving. In addition, the existing concept of software maintenance process demands operational management and improvement of service task. However, when we perform maintenance task, we have several constraints about applying service based requirement to system. Therefore, in order to solve these problems, we need a study of task of process for service based maintenance. In this paper, we propose a Service based Software Maintenance Process. Proposed process based on MaRMI-RE standard for software development and maintenance and compares it with the service based representative standards. In a related works, we study activity of ITIL and identify activities and tasks for maintenance. After this, identified activities and tasks compare with activities of MaRMI-RE. And then, we derive activities and tasks of a Service based Software Maintenance Process. Finally, we validate a result by comparing the proposed process with a general service operational process.

소비자 관점에서 분석한 ICT 기반의 음식배달서비스 관련 특허 등록 현황 (Registered Patents related to Food Delivery Service based on ICT : A Consumer Perspective)

  • Food environment has been going through significant changes with the introduction of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). This study was conducted to investigate the current development status of ICT related to food delivery service by analyzing the relevant registered patents according to consumer buying process. Patents registered between 2002 and 2016 were searched with 'food' and 'delivery' as main keywords through Korea Intellectual Property Rights Information Service (www.kipris.or.kr). The search resulted in 624 patents among which 219 patents were related to food delivery service; 108 patents based on ICT were selected and analyzed. The patents were examined by applicant and year. The patents were classified into the six steps of consumer buying process: 'need recognition', 'information search', 'evaluation', 'choice', 'purchase', and 'postpurchase evaluation'. Patents belonging to more than one step were coded to all the corresponding steps. The patents were registered mainly by domestic companies (50.9%) and individuals (35.2%), having shown dramatic increase of registration since 2012. Over 2/3 (67.6%) of the patents were related to the 'purchase' step. About 32% were associated with the 'information search' step. Approximately 18% of the patents were relevant to the 'evaluation' and 'choice' steps, respectively. The numbers of patents related to the 'postpurchase evaluation (13.9%)' and 'need recognition (12.0%)' steps were relatively low. The current ICTs related to food delivery service in Korea were largely associated with service providers' profit generation rather than consumers' benefit. There is still much room for technology development that could contribute to increasing consumers' benefit.

기업택배 기업의 서비스 프로세스 개선 방안 - Y사의 서비스청사진 분석을 중심으로 (Service Blueprinting Analysis(SBA) on B2B Courier Services - Focus on Company Y)

  • Purpose: This research aims to analyze the service process of corporate courier services in order to offer service providers possible directions for adaptation of new technologies and assurance of better quality services. Methods: Through the analysis on the parcel service process of company Y by applying service blueprinting method, the overall process and failure service points of corporate courier services can be recognized and investigated. Next, the several newer technologies, augmented reality glasses, exoskeleton, and drone are applied to the service process of company Y as they are suggested by the literature review and referenced to DHL's report on the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Then, service options to overcome the service failure points to improve the service process can be produced. Results: The parcel service process of the company Y is utilized as a hub-and-spoke structure by having distribution and delivery centers which separates customers into two types, ones using the total services and the others only using the delivery service. In addition, the main cause of the service failures is determined that it is due to the limited working hours of delivery centers compared to the workload. Conclusion: This research contributes in better understanding of corporate courier services and providing information for benchmarking. An empirical research on the costs and the efficiencies of applying the new technologies is suggested for the further improvement in the processes of corporate courier services.

A Study on the Mediating Effect of Customer Orientation between O2O Service Quality and Customers' Perceived Service Satisfaction

  • Purpose: O2O (Online to Offline) is an internet-based platform. The purpose of this study is to confirm the effect of service quality of O2O food delivery service on service satisfaction, and whether customer orientation mediates the relationship between service quality and service satisfaction. Research design, data and methodology: This paper surveyed Chinese consumers using the O2O food delivery platform through a questionnaire technique. Smart PLS 3.0 was used to verify the hypothesis of this study. PLS is characterized by the advantage of minimizing measurement errors and maximizing the influence of each factor. Results: It was confirmed that O2O food delivery companies need to increase service quality (information quality, product quality, and social quality, system quality) in order to obtain customer satisfaction. Additionally, the perceived customer orientation was found to completely mediate the relationship between perceived service quality (information quality, product quality) and perceived service satisfaction. Conclusions: The service level of the O2O delivery company to the customer's request when a problem occurs in the customer's order must be raised to increase the customer's satisfaction. For example, timely response to customer inquiries and timely feedback of delivery information to customers during the delivery process should improve the quality of after-sales service.

Methodological Challenges of Empirical Studies on Government-Nonprofit Service Delivery: Toward a Dynamic Approach

  • Empirical studies have shown that government and human service nonprofit organizations have maintained active partnerships to deliver human services for the past several decades. However, the previous researches on resource dependent government-nonprofit service delivery have revealed serious methodological limitations to adequately demonstrate the dynamic relationship between both sectors over time. Since the dynamics underlying the government-nonprofit service delivery is a complex process, in which multiple factors dynamically interact over time, the assumptions of system dynamics can help improve these methodological drawbacks. This study aims to explore methodological issues and weaknesses observed in empirical studies on resource dependent government-nonprofit service delivery in the United States, and further attempts to provide insights on future research toward a dynamic approach, bringing the assumptions of system dynamics to the challenges of the previous researches.
