정보통신 서비스의 실패 요인: 한국의 텔레콤 서비스시장에서의 실패사례연구 (An Exploratory Study for the Telecommunications Service Failure Cases in South Korea)

  • In this paper, 15 South Korean telecommunications service failure cases were analyzed. Through the in-depth case study, 8 factors were found to be the major causes contributing to the telecommunications service failure. They were (1) ineffective marketing, (2) poor demand forecasting due to misjudgment of customer preference, (3) failure to satisfy technical specifications, (4) loss of cost advantage due to the price cut of competing services or new entry with lower price, (5) loss of utility advantage due to the increased utility of competing services or new entry with higher utility (6) decrease of market attractiveness due to change of customer preference, (7) impact of government policy, and (8) insufficient or low quality of contents. Additional analysis was done to derive managerial implications to the new telecommunications service development strategy. The findings from the paper will provide valuable Insight to the successful Implementation of new service development and service provisioning processes.

QALY를 이용한 가정간호서비스의 비용효용분석 (A Cost-Utility Analysis of Home Care Services by using the QALY)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to analyze economical efficiency of home care service by comparing a cost-utility ratio(CUR) between home care and hospitalization. Method: The analytic framework of this study was constructed in 5 stages: Identifying the analytic perspectives, measurement of costs, measurement of utility, analysis of CUR, and sensitivity test. Data was collected by reviewing medical records, home care service records, medical fee claims, and other related research. Result: The mean of the annual total cost was 23,317,636 Won in home care and 73,739,352 Won in hospital care. QALY was 0.389 in home care and 0.474 in hospital care, so CUR was 299,712,545 QALY in home care and 777,841,266 QALY in hospital care. Conclusion: The findings affirmed that home care had an economical efficiency in the aspect of utility compared to hospitalization. Therefore, the findings of this study can be used to develop a governmental health policy or to expand the home care system. In addition, the cost-utility analysis framework and process of this study will be an example model for cost-utility analysis in nursing research. Therefore, it will be used as a guideline for future research related to cost-utility analysis in nursing.

  • 인터넷 트래픽 관리를 위한 IETF 차별화 서비스에서는 우선순위 방식의 가격정책이 널리 채택되고 있으며, 이러한 우선순위 방식의 서비스에서 최적가격을 정하기 위해 균형분석을 이용한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 '사용자들의 유틸리티 함수를 정확히 알고 있다'는 균형분석의 가정의 타당성에 대한 비판 또한 끊이지 않는다. 따라서 이 논문은 최적가격을 정하는 문제에 있어서, 현존하는 이론적인 연구의 기본 가정과 사용자 유틸리티 함수를 알 수 없는 현실적인 네트워크 환경과의 차이를 좁힐 수 있는 해결책을 제시하고자 한다. 기본 아이디어는 네트워크 서비스 제공자가 서비스 레벨의 가격을 조정하여 사용자들의 레벨 선택 결정을 바꾸도록 유도하고 그를 통해 더 정확한 유틸리티 정보를 알아내도록 하자는 것이다. 이 연구의 공헌은 크게 두 가지로 볼 수 있다. 첫째, 사용자 유틸리티 함수를 추정해나가는 일반적인 원리를 제시하였다 둘째, 유틸리티 함수에 대한 정보를 최대한으로 끌어낼 수 있도록 하는 가격을 정하는 방법을 개발하였다. 우리는 실험을 통해 제안된 추정법의 효과적인 성능을 보여준다.

뇌졸중의 효용가중치에 대한 메타분석 (A Meta-Analysis of Utility Weights for Stroke)

  • The aims of this study are to conduct meta-analysis for obtaining pooled estimates of the utility weight for stroke and to explore the study design characteristics that determine the utility weight for stroke. Medline (Pubmed), CEA Registry (Tufts Medical Center), and KERIS (Korea Education & Research Information Service) were searched to find out the literature that reported quality of life with stroke. Patient characteristics, utility weights and standard errors were extracted and stratified by severity, study method, respondent and country. All estimates were measured on a 0 to 1 scale with 0 representing the death and 1 representing the perfect health. The pooled estimates of the utility weight were 0.627 for total stroke, 0.756 for mild stroke, 0.631 for moderate stroke, and 0.389 for severe stroke (p=0.0001). Non-patients showed significantly lower utility weights than patients for severe (p=0.0122) stroke.

다속성 효용이론을 활용한 중국시장에서의 인터넷 의료정보 서비스 선호속성 분석 (An Analysis of Consumer Preferences for Internet Medical Information Service in China Using the Multi-Attribute Utility Theory)

  • This study investigated consumer preferences for Internet medical information service in China using the multi-attribute utility theory. The multi-attribute utility theory is a compositional approach for modeling consumer preferences wherein researchers calculate the overall service utility by summing up the evaluation results for each attribute. We found that Chinese Internet medical information users consider the availability of information and quick response to be the most important attributes. Further, they think that the comment feature is less important as compared to other attributes such as costs and updates. In addition, we found that the Internet users having more Internet experience consider these attributes to be more important as compared to the people who are just beginning to surf the Internet. For any successful Internet business, Internet marketers should assess individual-level preference and accordingly organize a fresh campaign. As of now, Internet marketers need estimation methods to predict the market performance of new services in many different business environments. We believe that the multi-attribute utility theory is a useful approach in this regard.

서비스품질과 쇼핑가치가 소비자 만족 및 재구매의도에 미치는 영향 - 50, 60대 여성 소비자를 중심으로 - (Impacts of Service Quality and Shopping Value on Consumers' Satisfaction for Women in their 50's and 60's)

  • The purposes of this study were, 1) to examine the conceptual structure of shopping value and service quality as perceived by women in their 50's and 60's, and 2) to investigate the effects of shopping value and service quality on consumer satisfaction of these women. The results mal provide insights related to the silver market in South Korea. Data were obtained for 286 women in their 50's and 60's living in metropolitan areas in South Korea, and analyzed using factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, and regression. The results showed that service quality was composed of Facilities Service, Product Service, Salespersons' Service and Policy Service. Shopping values perceived by elderly consumers consisted of two factors: Hedonic Shopping Value, and Utility Shopping Value. Elderly consumers perceived Hedonic Value by Salespersons' Service and Utility Value by Policy Service. Salespersons' Service of a store was the most important variable for elderly consumers' satisfaction. The finding suggest that a store's Salespersons' Service is important in predicting elderlv corlsumers' purchase behavior, and they give insight into the development of strategies to be utilized in promotion planning. Implications and drawn for the information useful to consumer behavior researchers and retailers of the silver market.

  • Citizens' demand, which has been previously focused on welfare, is now expanding to include elements for higher quality of life such as employment, housing, culture, and sports. Accordingly, the government, with an aim of effectively delivering resident services that satisfy various demands, is committed to transforming the central government-oriented service system into the integrated service system based on public-private partnership. The government is also dedicated to expanding services to 8 areas including not only welfare but also healthcare, employment, housing, education, sports, culture, and tourism, which are directly related to everyday lives of residents. This project is designed to support such reforms in the citizen service delivery system in order to enhance quality of life of local residents. This study is to draw implications from analysis for implementing the citizen service integrated information system in order to reform the citizen service delivery system effectively through examinations and analyses of citizen services provided by the central government. Especially focus on public utility charges depreciation simplification citizen service. Its implications are expected to offer a real contribution for central and local Governments that want to increase the productivity of implementing eGovernment service.

소셜미디어 건강정보서비스에 대한 융합적 소비자선호도 분석방법 연구 (A Study on the Analysis of Consumer Convergence Preferences for Healthcare Information Service in Social Media)

  • 본 연구는 소셜미디어와 건강정보서비스에 대한 소비자들의 융합적 선호를 분석함으로써 다양한 채널과 형태로 제공되고 있는 기존의 건강정보서비스에 대한 소비자들의 선호속성을 도출하고 이에 대한 평가를 객관화시킬 수 있는 분석방법을 발굴하는데 그 목적이 있다. 다속성 효용이론은 개별적 선호속성간의 상대적 선호도를 탐색하고, 이 결과를 바탕으로 대상 분야에 대한 소비자의 전체적 선호도를 파악하는 데 효율적인 방법이다. 우리는 미디어와 건강정보에 관련된 선행연구들로부터 도출된 최신성, 비용성, 유용성, 용이성과 신뢰성 등의 선호속성들이 실제로 건강정보서비스 이용의도에 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 실증하였고 이 속성들을 활용하여 각 소셜미디어들에 대한 효용을 계산함으로써 소비자들의 소셜미디어별 건강정보서비스에 대한 평가도 계량적으로 분석할 수 있었다. 다양한 서비스로 무장한 소셜미디어들이 속속 등장하고 있는 현실을 감안하면 소셜미디어를 활용한 다양한 서비스 시장을 객관적으로 판단하기 힘든 경우 본 연구에서 제안하고 있는 다속성 효용이론의 활용은 시장에 대한 분석에 상당한 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

바이오인포매틱스(Bioinformatics) 서비스의 적정가격 산정에 관한 연구 (A Study on deciding optimal price of Bioinformatics services)

  • Bioinformatics service is very new and emerging in market that provides information such as whether or not occurrence of a particular disease through the base of DNA(Deoxyribonucleic Acid) & RNA(Ribo Nucleic Acid) sequence analysis. Recently, interest growing rapidly in utilization of the industrial purpose, but provision of commercialization like pricing and service packaging is not enough to go to market. For go-to-market, firstly refine the services and perform cost calculation of services in cost-plus method then estimate consumer utility by conducting conjoint analysis. Collectively, with cost and consumer utility result, optimal service price can be calculated.

인터넷 의류제품 구매에서의 가격태도유형에 따른 제품 및 서비스 품질 평가 (The Evaluation of Product and Service Quality according to Apparel Consumers' Attitude toward Price in Internet Purchase)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the difference of evaluation of product and service quality according to consumers' attitude toward price in internet clothing purchase. This study surveyed 400 male and female consumers in their 20s-30s for empirical analysis in August 2010 who have ever purchased clothing through internet shopping malls. For statistical analysis, descriptive statistics, factor analysis, ANOVA analysis, Duncan test and cluster analysis are carried out using SPSS for Windows 12.0. The results are as follows. First, consumers' attitude toward price dimensions in internet clothing purchase are found 6 factors of sales proneness, price-prestige, price-comparison, low price, utility value and pricequality. Second, based on the attitude toward price dimensions, consumers are categorized into utility value seeking, sales price seeking, multi-dimension price seeking, lack price consciousness, low price seeking group. Third, there are significant differences in product quality and service quality depending on attitude toward price-based consumer types. In particular, sales price seeking and multi-dimension price seeking groups have higher values on product and service quality than other groups. The results of this study will help internet fashion mall businesses to develop price strategy and manage product and service quality.
