This paper aims at developing a prediction model and analyzing a sensitivity for the outpatient's overall satisfaction on utilizing hospital services by using data mining techniques within the context of customer satisfaction. From a total of 900 outpatient cases, 80 percent were randomly selected as the training group and the other 20 percent as the validation group. Cases in the training group were used in the development of the CHAID and Neural Networks. The validation group was used to test the performance of these models. The major findings may be summarized as follows: the CHAID provided six useful predictors - satisfaction with treatment level, satisfaction with healthcare facilities and equipments, satisfaction with registration service, awareness of hospital reputation, satisfaction with staffs courtesy and responsiveness, and satisfaction with nurses kindness. The prediction accuracy rates based on MLP (77.90%) is superior to RBF (76.80%).

Customer complaints handling helps organizations to retain existing customers and attract new customers, as well. As Voice of the Customer (VOC) is one of the main sources of customer complaints, many organizations utilize VOC to enhance customer satisfaction. Effective management of VOC has been proved as one of the best ways to maintain organization's brand image and reputation. In spite of its importance, little has been reported on the utilization of VOC to detect faults in a telecommunication industry. In this paper, association rule mining based on VOC is used to identify root fault causes of a telecommunications network. To do that, VOC of a Communication Service Provider has been collected first. Then, association rule mining has also been conducted with various support and confidence levels. As a result, root fault causes of the telecommunications network can be identified. It is expected that this study can be used as a basis for decisions about customer satisfaction management such as preventive maintenances or reduction of the customer maintenance cost.
Purpose - The paper aims at testing the moderating effect of individualism dimension of culture on consumer behavioural intention about bank services in Nigeria. Research design, data, and methodology - A survey was conducted with a sample of five hundred and fifty five bank customers drawn from various retails banks. Using Statistical Package for Social Sciences and Analysis of Moment Structure, combinations of descriptive and inferential statistics were performed. Invariance test and multiple-group analysis were conducted in order to assess the moderating effect. The invariance test was necessary to confirm the equivalence of constructs so that any difference detected thereafter could be related to moderating effect. Results - The results show that individualism has a significant moderating effect on the relationship between technical quality, perceived value and corporate image on the one hand, and behavioural intention on the other. However, individualism does not moderate the association between functional quality and behavioral intention. Conclusions - It is recommended that the bank policy makers should take necessary step to enhance the customer perception of technical quality, perceived value and corporate image with respect the retail bank services.
Korean Government has invested a lot of efforts on digital contents industry. It believes that the digital contents industry enables Korea to regain the reputation of the most powerful IT country. Among its various efforts to promote the digital contents industry, a Digital Contents Identifier System, called UCI(Universal Contents Identifier), has been developed and deployed. UCI has provided a critical infrastructure for digital contents production and distribution. Thanks to Korean Government's efforts, users (companies and individuals) have currently registered 3.8 million digital contents through 25 RA organizations. Although the number of registered contents has been increased rapidly, many organizations hesitate to adopt the UCI system due to the lack of visible and short-term returns from the UCI system. Thus, this research tries to explore factors which affect UCI user satisfaction. This research finds that user's awareness, information quality, and service quality are the critical influencing factors toward UCI user satisfaction. In addition, this research finds that the critical influencing factors in public organizations are different from the critical influencing factors in private organizations. These findings hopefully provide useful guidelines for disseminating the UCI system widely.
