데이터 로딩 자동화를 위한 RESTful 웹서비스 개발 - 일별 기상자료 처리를 중심으로 - (Development of RESTful Web Service for Loading Data focusing on Daily Meteorological Data)

  • Generally data loading is a laborous job to develop models. Meteorological data is basic input data for hydrological models, it is provided through websites of Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA). The website of KMA provides daily meteorological observation data with tabular format classified by years, items, stations. It is cumbersome to manipulate tabular format for model inputs such as time series and multi-item or multi-station data. The provider oriented services which broadcast restricted formed information have caused inconvenient processes. Tim O'Reilly introduces "Web 2.0" which focuses on providing a service based on data. The top ranked IT companies such as google, yahoo, daum, and naver provide customer oriented services with Open API (Application Programming Interface). A RESTful web service, typical implementation for Open API, consists URI request and HTTP response which are simple and light weight protocol than SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol). The aim of this study is to develop a web-based service that helps loading data for human use instead of machine use. In this study, the developed RESTful web service provides Open API for manipulating meteorological data. The proposed Open API can easily access from spreadsheet programs, web browsers, and various programming environments.

  • 최신의 학술서비스 유형과 연구데이터 출판 및 서비스를 위한 DataCite 메타데이터 요소를 분석하여 OpenURL 학술서비스 유형을 기술하기 위한 메타태그를 Key/Encoded-Value(KEV) 형식으로 확장제안하였다. 현재의 OpenURL Z39.88 표준의 KEVFormat: Sch-Svc은 문헌중심의 학술서비스 유형 6가지만을 지원하고 있어 연구데이터의 원활한 유통을 위해서는 확장이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 학술서비스 유형 분석을 위해 Scopus와 Web of Science, NDSL 서비스를 비교 검토하여 8개의 학술서비스 유형을 도출하였다. 또한 연구데이터 기술을 위한 DataCite 컨소시엄의 메타데이터 요소를 집중적으로 분석하여 9개의 대표속성을 도출하였다.

메이커 스페이스를 위한 서비스 디자인 가이드 라인 (Service Design Guideline for Maker Space)

  • 본 연구는 메이커 운동의 확산으로 증가하고 있는 메이커 스페이스의 효과적인 운영 및 내실화를 위한 서비스 디자인의 가이드라인을 제시하여 활용될 수 있도록 하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법 첫째, 메이커 스페이스의 정의 및 현황 등에 관해 문헌 조사 및 선행 연구를 조사한다. 둘째, 정성조사 방법으로 메이커 스페이스 서비스에 대한 비디오 에스노그라피, 참여관찰 및 심층 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 셋째, 조사한 내용을 분석하여 메이커 스페이스에 대한 퍼소나, 블루프린트 등의 가이드라인을 제시한다. 연구결과 메이커 스페이스를 일반랩과 전문랩으로 분류하고, 메이커 스페이스에서 나타나는 4가지 형태의 퍼소나를 도출하고 체계화를 위한 블루프린트를 구축하여 설계 및 운영에 대한 가이드라인을 제시한다. 본 연구에서 제시한 서비스 디자인의 퍼소나와 블루프린트는 기존 메이커 스페이스의 서비스 개선과 신규 메이커 스페이스의 설계, 콘텐츠 구성 및 운영의 내실화에 활용될 수 있는 가이드라인이 될 것이다.

사후 서비스에서 선제적 서비스로 서비스 패러다임의 전환 (Transition of Service Paradigm from Service Recovery to Proactive Service)

  • 본 연구에서는 초고속인터넷 상품에 관련된 고객 불만사항(VOC, Voice of Customer)의 빅데이터를 활용하여 고객이 지각하는 품질이상의 원인과 선제적 서비스의 가능성을 살펴보았다. 선제적 서비스의 가능성을 검증하기 위해 실제 이동통신 서비스기업의 시설·장비의 총 13개 장애경보에 관련된 품질이상 VOC를 수집한 후, 𝒙2검증을 통해 품질이상 VOC 실제관측값과 기대값이 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 지 검증하였다. 연구결과, 시설·장비의 총 13개 장애경보 관련 품질이상 VOC 중 6개의 장애경보로서, 'FTTH-R 장비 ON/OFF', 'FTTH-E,V 회선오류 감지', '포트불량, FTTH-R 회선오류 감지', '네트워크 LOOP 감지', 그리고 '비정상 트래픽 제한'은 실시간 모니터링을 통한 선제적 서비스가 가능하다는 통계적 근거를 찾았다. 기업들은 이러한 선제적 서비스를 이용하여 시잠점유율을 향상키시고 고객서비스 비용을 절감하는 데 적용할 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구의 결과는 통신서비스 분야의 선제적 서비스의 가능성을 진단하고, 나아가 효과적인 선제적 서비스 제공 방안에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다는 점에서 실제 산업 적용에 대한 공헌점이 기대된다.

Deep Packet Inspection Time-Aware Load Balancer on Many-Core Processors for Fast Intrusion Detection

  • To realize high-speed intrusion detection by accommodating many regular expression (regex)-based signatures and growing network link capacities, we propose the Service TimE-Aware Load-balancing (STEAL) algorithm. This work is motivated from the observation that utilization of a many-core network intrusion detection system (NIDS) is influenced by unfair computational distribution among many-core NIDS nodes. To avoid such unfair computational distribution, STEAL is designed to dynamically distribute a large volume of traffic among many-core NIDS nodes based on packet service time, which is represented by the deep packet time in many-core NIDS nodes. From experiments, we show that compared to the commonly used load-balancing algorithm based on arrival rate, STEAL increases the number of received packets (i.e., decreases the number of dropped packets) in many-core NIDS. Specifically, by integrating an open source NIDS (i.e. Bro) with STEAL, we show that even under attack-dominant traffic and with many signatures, STEAL can rapidly improve the performance of many-core NIDS to realize high-speed intrusion detection.

카페테리아 식단을 제공하는 사업체 급식소의 식단운영 형태에 따른 대기행렬 분석 (Queueing Analysis by Menu Management Systems in Cafeteria of the Business Foodservices)

  • The purposes of this study were to : (a) anlayze wating time, service rate, arrival rate, and coustomer expectations/satisfaction in cafeteria business foodservices and (b) identify the differences in those factors between foodservices by menu managmenet systems. The samples were two business foodservices operated by contract management in Seoul. The queue, laptime , service rate, and arrival rate were measured at each foodservice by stopwatch observation. The menu type, delivery system, number of meals served , servide time, and turnover rate of each foodservic was investigated. Questionnaires were developed to survey customer expectations and satisfaction. Satistical data analysis was completed using the SAS package programs for descriptive analysis and t-test. The mean waiting time of island type dafeteria system with separte set -menu was shorter than that of the other. In both foodservices, arrival rates were not significantly different from one another , but sevice rates were significnatly high in dafeteria menu systems. The peak time of the queue was found out at combination set menu line. The separate set menu line had a higher servide rate than the combination set menu line. The mean waiting time of the island type cafeteria line was shorter than that of the straifth type . At the straight type dafeterial line, both arrival rate and service rate were higher than those of island-type. The results of this study suggested that a separate set-menu would be more desirable than a combination set-menu in case of providing set menu with cafeteria menu.

브랜드 확립을 위한 상점공간 디자인 분석 연구 - 혁신적 제품과 체험 공간을 중심으로 - (A Study on Store Design Strategy for Establishing Brand Identity - Focus on innovative products and spaces for experiences -)

  • Retail space itself could be one of the marketing strategies, through creating space, and communicating brand identity. Especially for innovative products, such as mobile technology products, store is not just to sell products but to provide experiences so that users can fudge usefulness of products and reduce uncertainties to adopt the products. The purpose of this study is to investigate how environmental features and physical artifacts contribute to promote experiences of innovative products in stores and how physical environment help to establish brand identity. For this study, site visits, observation, and literature review were conducted. For case studies, three retail spaces (Apple, Iriver, Sony) and one service space(TTL) were selected. Compared to the service space, three retail spaces have more transparent and open store front design characteristics. For the experiences of shoppers, products displayed in a radial shape, round shape, column shape, and around peripherals of the stores. A service oriented space, TTL zone is differentiated from three retail spaces in terms of layout, store front design, and experience areas. Compared to the traditional stores selling innovative products, the case stores showed more warm atmosphere using various shape, wood materials, lighting fixtures and furniture.

초임 가정과교사의 교사사회화에 관한 연구 (A Study on Novice Home Economics Teacher Socialization)

  • This study explored the socialization of novice Home Economics(HE) teachers employing a qualitative research method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with four novice HE teachers from secondary schools. The collected data was analyzed inductively by NVivo, a kind of CAQDAS. The following analysis was organized around three stages of teachers' careers: first, as for influences on teacher socialization prior to formal teacher education, their experiences on 'apprenticeship of observation' provided them both positive and negative role models; second, as for the socialization role of pre-service teacher education, they mentioned that college courses were poorly connected to classroom realities with only a few helpful lectures on HE Education; third, as for socialization in the workplace and its culture, the novice HE teachers were confronted with many kinds of problems including isolation in the classroom, in-service training programs not geared to novices, an overwhelming workload, and so on. Because of these problems, they yearned for and also formed networks with other HE teachers in order to overcome their limitations. The findings supported the notion that interactive and dialectical processes exist during all stages of HE teachers' careers. This study suggests that the teacher in-service training programs are more relevant, and that the introduction of mentoring programs and classroom manuals and teacher manuals would be helpful in practice. These innovations call for cooperation between universities and provincial offices of education for teachers' professional success in teacher socialization.

Development of an Electro-Optic Mooring System for Oceanographic Buoy

  • This study is part of a project to develop and improve mooring systems for oceanographic use that include an electro-optical sensor, 1MHz Nortek Aquadopp Doppler Profiler and AIRMAR multipurpose Sensor. The adaption of Doppler current profilers to measure directional wave spectra has provided a new instrumentation approach to coastal and nearshore oceanographic studies. The HEIOB is developed are light weight and of a compact design, and can be easily installed in marine environment. Since there are no base station and gateways in marine environments, we selected CDMA and Orbcomm to send the data information. Therefore, the data can be sent by either e-mail service or Short Message Service (SMS). This paper will present some of scientific sensor results regarding real-time oceanographic and meteorological parameters such as wind spend, wind direction, wave direction, and etc. The modeling and test results highlight the engineering challenges associated with designing these systems for long lifetimes. It can also be used in future application to build wave observation buoy network in real-time using multiple ubiquitous buoys that share wave data and allow analysis of multipoint, multi-layer wave profiler.

수학 탐구학습에서 지식 형성에 대한 연구 (Knowledge Construction on Mathematics Problem Solving)

  • 이 연구는 학과 과제와 기말 프로젝트에 있는 문제들 중에서 컴퓨터를 활용하여 수학적 문제 해결을 해 가는 세 명의 예비 교사를 연구 조사하였다 모든 연구 참여자들의 활동과 컴퓨터를 활용한 문제 해결 과정을 관찰하고 촬영하였다. 가능한 경우 예비 교사들의 탐구활동 전과 후 및 탐구활동 중에 개별적인 면담을 하였다. 자료수집 방법은 관찰, 면담, 현장 기록, 제출과제, 컴퓨터 작업, 오디오와 비디오 테이프를 사용하였다. 수학적 문제 해결 초기 단계에서는, 모든 연구 참여자들이 그래프와 데이터를 사용하여 모델 만들기, 사인 함수의 일반적 개념에 대하여 절차적 지식과 개념적 지식이 약하게 형성되어 있었으나 컴퓨터를 활용한 수학적 문제 해결 활동을 통하여 그들은 절차적 지식과 개념적 지식을 강하게 구성하였고 그들을 적절하게 연계시킬 수 있었다
