  • In this paper, we propose Stream Control Transmission Protocol(SCTP) proxy which supports making an SCTP connection from a Corresponding Node(CN) to a Mobile Node(MN). Recently, mobility support in transport layer is proposed, which provides mobility in end-to-end way using the extension of SCTP. Mobile SCTP can provide handover to all applications that use SCTP as a transport protocol. However, current SCTP does not include independent location management service and can not make connection from a CN to a MN without assistance of other mobile protocols. To solve this problem, Proposed SCTP proxy interoperates with generic location management service and performs an address transformation to forward connection set up messages to the MN. Using the proposed proxy, SCTP can provide a complete mobility support including a connection setup to the MN and maintaining an existing connection.

  • The RFID(Radio-Frequency IDentification) systems have many security problem such as eavesdropping, a replay attack, location tracking and DoS(Denial of Service) attacks. Because RFID systems use radio-frequency. So research are being made to solve the problem of RFID systems, one of which is AES algorithm. This paper presents an authentication protocol using AES and one-time random number to secure other attacks like eavesdropping, a replay attack, location tracking, In addtion, RSMAP uses OTP(One-Time Pad) in order to safely transmit.

  • We have studied to protect location and identity privacy of mobile users in mobile communication environments. In this paper, we propose and analyze new mobile originated protocols as a part of our new integrated system for high level privacy protection service which is not provided in the traditional GSM[1] system of europe. Also our protocols support a roaming service into the remote domain as welt as the home domain.

  • The real-time data dissemination schemes exploit the spatiotemporal commuication approach which forwards data at the delivery speed calculated with the desired time deadline and the end-to-end distance in wireless sensor networks (WSNs). In practical environments, however, the performance of the real-time data dissemination might be degraded by additional and inevitable delay due to some holes. Namely, the holes lengthen the data delivery path and the spatiotemporal approach could not estimate a distance of the data delivery path. To deal with this, we propose A Hole Self-Organization Real-time Routing Protocol for Irregular Wireless Sensor Networks. In proposed protocol, nodes around holes could detect them at deploying phase. A hole is represented as a circle with center point and radius. This hole information is processed and provided as a form of location service. When a source queries a destination location, location provider replies certain points for avoiding holes as well as destination location. Thus, the source could set desired speed toward the destination via the points. Performance evaluation shows that provides better real-time service in practical environments.

  • RFID system is a technique to obtain information of tag using radio frequency. Specificity of RFID systems using radio frequency has many problems that is eavesdropping, location tracking, spoofing attack, replay attack, denial of service attack. So, RFID protocol should be used cryptographic methods and mutual authentication for security and privacy. In this paper, we explain the problem of past protocol and propose the nonfixed symmetric key-based RFID mutual authentication protocol using shift computation and random number. Proposed protocol is secure from various attacks. Because it use shift operation and non-fixed symmetric key.

  • Recently RFID system is used in various fields such as distribution industry, medical industry and military service. The technology for protecting individual privacy is necessary to adapt RFID system in several applications. This paper proposes an authentication protocol which conducts mutual authentication between back-end database and tag using hash function. The proposed protocol satisfies various RFID security requirements : mutual authentication, anonymity, confidentiality, integrity, replay attack, location trace. This protocol reduces the time for authentication minimizing the number of hash operation in back-end database.

  • After releasing the smart phone equipping the strong computational capability compared to traditional mobil phone, a field of services, which is available on the personal computers, is expanded to smart phone. The development of technology reduces the limited service utilization on time and space but it has a venerability exposing an information to malicious user. Especially we need to more attention when using the financial services which communicate the user's private information. To solve the security problem, OTP(One Time Pad), which uses a private key for a session, is recommended. OTP techniques in smart phone having focused on traditional environments have been proposed and implemented. However, security over mobile environments is more vulnerable to attack and has restriction on resources than traditional system. For this reason, definition of proper conceptual OTP on smart phone is required. In the paper, we present the L-OTP(Location-OTP) protocol, using T-OTP(Time One Time Pad) technique with location information. Proposal generates the OTP using unique location information which is obtained in smart phone.

  • Wireless sensor network supporting healthcare environment should provide customized service in accordance with context information such as continuous location change and status information for people or movable object. In addition, we should consider data transmission guarantees a person's bio information and privacy security provided through sensor network. In this paper analyzes LEACH protocol which guarantees the dynamic self-configuration, energy efficiency through configuration of inter-node hierarchical cluster between nodes and key distribution protocol used for security for data transmission between nodes. Based on this analysis result, we suggested self-configuration routing protocol supporting node mobility which is weakness of the existing LEACH protocol and data transmission method by applying key-pool pre-distribution method whose memory consumption is low, cluster unit public key method to sensor node.

  • Recently, multicast routing protocols become increasingly important aspect in Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANETs), as they effectively manage group communications. Meanwhile, multimedia and real-time applications are becoming essential need for users of MANET. Thus it is necessary to design efficient and effective Quality of Service (QoS) multicast routing strategies. In this paper, we address the scalability problem of multicast routing protocols to support QoS over MANETs. In particular, we introduce a Position-Based QoS Multicast Routing Protocol (PBQMRP). Basically, the protocol based on dividing the network area into virtual hexagonal cells. Then, the location information is exploited to perform efficient and scalable route discovery. In comparison with other existing QoS multicast routing protocols, PBQMRP incurs less control packets by eliminating network flooding behavior. Through simulation, the efficiency and scalability of PBQMRP are evaluated and compared with the well-known On-Demand Multicast Routing Protocol (ODMRP). Simulation results justify that our protocol has better performance, less control overhead and higher scalability.
