광대역 통신 기술은 일반 사용자를 대상으로 고속의 데이터 전송 및 고품질의 음성통화와 영상통화 등을 포함하는 멀티미디어 서비스 제공을 위해 발전 중이다. 나아가 국민의 안전과 생명보호를 위한 공공안전 및 재난구조(PPDR, Public Protection and Disaster Relief)를 위한 범국가적 통신망과 원격 감시, 측정, 보고 및 제어 등을 위한 스마트그리드(smart grid) 및 M2M(Machine-to-Machine) 통신을 위한 광대역 통신망 구축이 기대된다. 본고에서는 공공안전 및 재난구조 통신과 M2M 통신 응용을 지원하는 광대역 무선접속 표준화 동향과 기술 개념을 살펴보고자 한다.

최근 분산되어있는 이 기종의 컴퓨팅 자원들을 통합하는 그리드에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그리드는 여러 사이트에 있는 자원들을 공유하고 검색하고 통합하며 각각의 그리드 사용자의 정보를 쉽고 빠르게 검색할 수 있는 환경이 필수적이다. 이러한 환경을 구축하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 웹기반 인터페이스를 통하여 그리드 사용자 계정을 통합하고 그리드 사용자의 어카운팅 정보를 취합하는 그리드 어카운팅 포탈 서비스를 설계하였다.

분산되어 있는 고성능 컴퓨팅 자원과 대규모 데이터를 효과적으로 활용하기 위해서 최근에 그리드 환경에 대한 연구가 매우 활성화되었다. 본 논문에서는 그리드 환경을 쉽게 이용하고 복잡한 문제에 대해서 병렬／분산 처리할 수 있는 여러 도구들을 편리하게 이용할 수 있도록 그리드 포탈을 구축하고 활용하는 과정에 대해서 연구하여 소개한다. 그리드 PSE 포탈 구조와 현재 요구되는 사용자 중심의 서비스에 대해서 연구하고, 그리드 포탈을 구축하기 위해서 GPDK, Myproxy, Java CoG을 이용하였으며, 병렬／분산 처리를 위한 프로그램으로서 Cactus를 사용하였다.

IT 기술 발전과 초고속 네트웍을 기반으로 지리적으로 분산된 리소스들을 공유하며 강력한 컴퓨팅 파워를 낼 수 있는 그리드 환경에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다 본 논문에서는 그리드 환경을 구축하기 위한 기술 중에 일련의 작업을 마친 후 발생하는 어카운팅 정보의 수집에 관해서 기술한다. 특히 현재 활발히 연구되고 있는 수퍼컴퓨터를 기반으로 어카운팅 정보를 수집하기 위해 설계한 어카운팅 정보 모니터링 서비스 구조와 어카운팅 정보를 수집하는 기술에 대해서 상세히 설명한다.

The purposes of this study were to identify customer expectation, perception and satisfaction of foodservice quality to analyze the influencing factors on foodservice quality and finally to provide basic information for the improvement of foodservice quality. A survey of 4 factory foodservices was undertaken and detailed information was collected from 675 respondents. Statistical data analysis was completed using the SPSS package program for descriptive analysis, t-test and one-way ANOVA. Male had higher scores than female in perceptions of foods and services, and the differences were statistically significant. As analysis of expectation, perception and satisfaction result of age, expectation and perception were statistically significant, and mostly expectation and perception increased according as age increased. Expectation and perception showed statistical differences by marital status. Married people had higher scores in expectation and perception of food and service than single. According to family type, respondents living alone showed lower scores in expectation and perception of food and service than those living with family or relatives. Conversely, living alone had high expectation on service. As analysis of work type, office workers showed higher scores of service expectation, food and service perception than production workers. As education level increased, food and service expectation and perception increased mostly. As analysis of work post, food and service expectation and perception increased as work post raised. Meanwhile, married people had higher scores in service quality of satisfaction than single. Result of the study can be summarized as follows the analysis of expectation, perception and satisfaction of foodservice quality, the Quadrant of food and service quality expectation and perception according to demographic variables. Expectation, perception and satisfaction scores of foodservice attributes according to work type. The distribution of attributes with satisfyingly significant difference in grid.

A virtual screening is the process of reducing an unmanageable number of compounds to a limited number of compounds for the target of interest by means of computational techniques such as molecular docking. And it is one of a large-scale scientific application that requires large computing power and data storage capability. Previous applications or softwares for molecular docking such as AutoDock, FlexX, Glide, DOCK, LigandFit, ViSION were developed to be run on a supercomputer, a workstation, or a cluster-computer. However the virtual screening using a supercomputer has a problem that a supercomputer is very expensive and the virtual screening using a workstation or a cluster-computer requires a long execution time. Thus we propose a service-based virtual screening system using Grid computing technology which supports a large data intensive operation. We constructed 3-dimensional chemical molecular database for virtual screening. And we designed a resource broker and a data broker for supporting efficient molecular docking service and proposed various services for virtual screening. We implemented service based virtual screening system with DOCK 5.0 and Globus 3.2 toolkit. Our system can reduce a timeline and cost of drug or new material design.

Security services that support electric energy service gateway require relatively high reliability. In particular, the application services that accompany communications and data are run organically. Each of the security services should support a secure service platform that supports a secure, scalable life cycle for existing services which should be extends security layer of Universal Middleware such as OSGi platform. In this convergence platform, it is the study of security transfer modular services that allow independent life cycle management of systems through Universal middleware. First, It is modular in terms of energy consumption service and data, enabling real-time operation, communications, remote management and applications. Second, the life cycle of the secure module to support the life cycle of secure, delete, start and updating of the security module by applying the security policy module layer concept. It is modular in terms of power generation and accountability, enabling us to distinguish between reliability and accountability in a large volume of data models in the smart grid, the service was intended to be standardized and applied to the security service platform.

Recently a new government has announced an action plan known as the government 3.0, which aims to provide customized services for individual people, generate more jobs and support creative economy. Leading on from previous similar initiatives, the new scheme seeks to focus on open, share, communicate, and collaborate. In promoting Government 3.0, the crucial factor might be how to align the core services and policies of Government 3.0 with correspoding technologies. The paper describes the concepts and features of Government 3.0, identifies emerging Internet-based technologies and services toward the initiative, and finally provides improvement plans for Government 3.0. As a result, 10 issues to be brought together include: Smart Phone Applications and Service, Mobile Internet Computing and Application, Wireless and Sensor Network, Security & Privacy in Internet, Energy-efficient Computing & Smart Grid, Multimedia & Image Processing, Data Mining and Big Data, Software Engineering, Internet Business related Policy, and Management of Internet Application.

During the last several years, interest in broad-band power line communications (PLC) has been grown over medium voltage(MV) power distribution lines as well as low voltage lines. This paper introduces a medium voltage PLC test field that is set up in the suburbs of Euiwang city in Korea. This test field could be used not only for the measurement of communication channel environment but also for internet service. This paper shows the configuration of medium voltage test field with network devices like MV signal coupler and the results of channel environment like noise and impulse response. It also shows the service performance of PLC access network through network management system.
