역세권 유형별 특성에 의한 서울시 도시개발관리 방향 연구 : 서울시 지하철 역세권을 중심으로 (Development on the Urban Management Pollcy by the Types of Subway Station Areas: the Case of Seoul, Korea)

  • 역세권 주택공급시 현재 시행되고 있는 뉴타운 사업과 같이 동시다발적으로 구역지정되어 발생되는 도시문제를 최소화하고자, 서울시 도시내부에 분포하는 250개 역세권을 유형화하여 유형별 특성을 분석하고, 유형별로 개발시기를 비롯한 도시개발관리 기준을 수립하여 차별적 도시관리 방안을 제안하였다. 역세권 특성을 분석하기 위한 객관적 지표로서 선행연구(AHP분석)에서 제시된 주택개발잠재력 지표를 활용하여 서울시 250개 역세권에 대하여 주택개발잠재력을 평가하였으며, 도출된 주택개발잠재력 평가결과를 이용하여 역세권을 5개의 그룹으로 유형화하고, 유형별 특성을 분석하였다. 유형화 결과, 서울시 역세권은 주택개발압력과 주택개발수용력이 모두 저(低)로 나타나는 군집1과, 주택개발압력 중저(中低) 주태개발수용력 중저(中低)인 군집2, 주택개발압력 중(中) 주택개발수용력 고(高)인 군집3, 주택개발압력 고(高) 주택개발수용력 중고(中高)인 군집4, 주택개발압력 중고(中高) 주택개발수용력 저(低)인 군집5로 분류되었다. 이를 다시 역세권 특성별로 군집1은 외곽개발유보지역, 군집2는 내부개발유보지역, 군집3은 개발관리지역, 군집4는 개발촉진지역, 군집5는 개발억제지역으로 분류하고 각 유형별 지역에 대하여 개발방안을 제시하였다.

시계열 해수면온도 산출을 위한 이어도 종합해양과학기지 열적외선 관측 시스템 구축 (Establishment of Thermal Infrared Observation System on Ieodo Ocean Research Station for Time-series Sea Surface Temperature Extraction)

  • 이어도 종합해양과학기지(IORS, Ieodo Ocean Research Station) 주변 해역은 시 공간적으로 해양 환경 변화가 심하여, 해양-대기교환 과정을 비롯하여 해양 생태계와 기후 변화 연구에 필수적인 해수면온도(SST, Sea surface temperature) 자료의 지속적인 측정이 요구되는 해역이다. 본 연구에서는 이어도 종합해양과학기지에 열적외선 센서를 이용하여 해수면온도 연속 관측이 가능한 시스템을 구축하였다. 자동 대기 보정 및 해양 조건에 따른 방사율 계산이 가능한 해수면온도 추출 알고리즘을 개발하였고, 현장측정 해수면온도 자료와의 비교 및 검증을 통해 정확도를 평가하였다. 2015년 5월 17일부터 26일, 그리고 2016년 7월 15일부터 18일까지 기지에 체류하는 동안 열적외선 관측 시스템으로 측정된 해수면온도와 기지 부착 CT (Conductivity-Temperature) 및 튜브 부착 수온 센서들을 이용하여 현장에서 측정된 해수면온도 시계열을 비교하여 상호상관계수0.72-0.85, 평균제곱근 편차 $0.37-0.90^{\circ}C$의 정확도를 얻었다. 이 시스템은 이어도 종합해양과학기지뿐만 아니라 신안 가거초 및 옹진 소청초 등의 다른 종합해양과학기지에도 쉽게 구축이 가능한 시스템으로써 향후 발사될 인공위성의 해수면온도 산출알고리즘 개발의 테스트사이트나 검보정사이트로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대할 수 있다.

국내 일부 주유소 내에서의 휘발성 유기화합물 노출에 관한 연구 (A Study on Exposure to Volatile Organic Compounds at Gas Stations in Korea)

  • Objectives : This study was performed to evaluate BTEX exposure to gas station service attendants and the critical affect of benzene and MtBE airborne concentration. Methods : the degree of exposure to airborne BTEX and MtBE was examined in the service attendants at seven gas stations across the country during a summer season. The TWAs(time-weighted averages) of atmospheric concentration of substances in personal and area samples, were calculated. The component ratio of BTEX and MtBE in the samples of bulk gasoline from each station studied was also measured. Results : The airborne concentrations of BTEX and MtBE showed a lognormal distribution and The TWA concentrations of benzene in personal samples from each station were 0.089 ppm - 0.18 ppm, and those of toluene were 0.097 ppm - 0.2 ppm. The average TWA concentrations of xylene and ethyl benzene was 0.03 ppm and 0.001 ppm, respectively. The TWA concentrations of MtBE were 0.4 ppm - 1.3 ppm. The volume concentrations of MtBE, toluene, ethyl benzene and xylene in the bulk gasoline samples were 3 - 7.4 %, 3 - 12 %, 0.64 % and 1.5 - 10 %, respectively. Conclusions : The benzene concentration was detected to exceed the ACGIH threshold benzene level of 0.5 ppm, in one of 74 personal and area samples. MtBE, a substitute for aromatic compounds such as benzene in gasoline, was found to bring about a greater chance of exposure to carcinogen, due to its high vapor pressure and carcinogenicity.

  • 자전거 이용 활성화에 따라 지속적인 자전거 이용 시설물 관리가 필요한 실정이다. 기존 연구에서는 이용자 또는 전문가들의 설문을 중심으로 자전거 이용 환경 평가를 하여 결과를 얻었다. 본 연구는 자전거 이용 시설물들을 균형적으로 조성할 수 있도록 정량적인 평가지표를 설정하여 평가하고자 한다. 기존 연구에서 제시된 자전거 이용 환경 평가지표를 토대로 자전거 이용자들이 이용 가능하며 정량화할 수 있는 이용 시설물 변수를 도출하였으며 시설물의 단위를 설정하였다. 평가를 위해 대상지를 송파구 역세권으로 선정하였다. 분석방법은 첫째, 사분면을 변형한 '자전거도로-시설물' 분석을 실시하였다. 이를 통해 개별적인 시설물 현황 및 역세권을 상대적으로 파악하였다. 둘째, 주성분분석을 실시하여 자전거 이용 시설물들을 전체적으로 통합하여 분석하였다. 이를 통해 시설물 변수들 중 공통적인 성질을 갖고 있는 변수들로 그룹화하여 비슷한 유형의 역세권을 파악하였으며 그룹별로 순위를 선정하였다.

적환장에서 발생하는 악취 분포 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Emission Characteristics of Odor Compounds from Waste Transfer Station)

  • Objective: This study was carried out for the purpose of identifying major substances contributing to the production of odor and evaluating the characteristic of odors. Methods: Complex odor and 17 odorous compounds were measured at 18 waste transfer stations located in Seoul. Results: The dilution ratio value of complex odor ranged from 4 to 30 times in the boundary layer of 18 waste transfer stations. At 6 measurement points among the 18 waste transfer stations, the dilution ratio values exceeded standards (15 times). When the results were evaluated in terms of their contribution to the formation of malodor, the patterns indicated that the highest concentration values in the residential waste disposal process were of i-valeraldehyde and acetaldehyde, while butyraldehyde and acetaldehyde accounted for a large proportion of odorous compounds from the waste recycling process. Conclusions: It was found that butyraldehyde and acetaldehyde were the primary compounds released from the food waste disposal process. Overall, aldehyde compounds were the greatest contributor to detectable odor intensity emitted at the waste transfer stations.

  • 1974. 8.15 SeoulMetro, beginning with the first electric railway established at six cities, so it is managing mass transportation of traffic. Especially, in case of seoul, It is managing that from one to eight lines, 286.9km, 265 stations have installed and now it is carrying about 5.5million of passengers everyday, and 2,000million passengers a year. So accident is increasing from the station every year. For this measure, SeoulMetro prepares safety fence for passengers crash but, as suicides or people who watch the accident took place, for at the bottom of passengers crash protection, PSD installing is needed. Even though, PSD is managing ATO section but, in controlling SeoulMetro, one to four lines sections are (ATS, ATC)section. Between as ATS, ATC section, ATO section, subway gate and PSD must have opened and crossed always at the time. And the interlock control corrosion protection gate, managing skills with installation, method, using in history, apply to 10rail cars one train sets, and maximum applying 224% sections of passengers congested that consideration is to be needed. So 2004, SeoulMetro improved technology and basic design of PSD at ATS section. Based on this, from 2005.4 to 2006.6, using subway 2lines per 12stations set the model installation(full type 11stations, half type 1station) After installing in case of success, it is going about to suggest that effective analysis and hereafter subject.

패턴인식 기반 역사 구조건전성 평가기법 개발을 위한 수치해석 연구 (Numerical Studies on the Structural-health Evaluation of Subway Stations based on Statistical Pattern Recognition Techniques)

  • The safety of station structures among railway infrastructures should be considered as a top priority because hundreds of thousands passengers a day take a subway. The station structures, which have been being operated since the 1970s, are especially vulnerable to the earthquake and long-term vibrations such as ambient train vibrations as well. This is why the structural-health monitoring system of station structures should be required. For these reason, Korean government has made an effort to develop the structural health-monitoring system of them, which can evaluate the health-state of station structures as well as can monitor the vulnerable structural members in real-time. Then, through the monitoring system, the vulnerable structural members could be retrofitted. For the development of health-state evaluation method for station structures with the real-time sensing data measured in the fields, authors carried out the numerical simulations to develop evaluation algorithms based on statistical pattern recognition techniques. In this study, the dynamic behavior of Chungmuro station in Seoul was numerically analyzed and then critical members were chosen. Damages were artificially simulated at the selected critical members of the numerical model. And, the supervised and unsupervised learning based pattern recognition algorithms were applied to quantify and localize the structural defects.

지하철역사의 이산화질소 농도와 역무원의 이산화질소 개인폭로량 (Indoor and Outdoor $NO_2$ Concentration at Subway Station and Personal $NO_2$ Exposure of Subway Station Workers)

  • The person' spending time in underground s[aces within indoor environment show a tendency to increase every year, but in Korea, levels and sources of pollutant in underground spaces have not been well-characterized. Therefore, as part or a larger indoor environmental study, conducted at subway station in Seoul, nitrogen dioxide was measured using passive samplers in 16 subway stations, 2 tunnels and 70 workers of subway station. The mean concentrations of nitrogen dioxide in subway stations were $27.87{\pm}7.15$ ppb at station office, $35.76{\pm}8.35$ ppb at platform, $52.60{\pm}13.04$ ppb at outdoor, respectively, and the Indoor/Outdoor ratio were 0.49~0.93. The mean concentrations of nitrogen dioxide in tunnels were $44.91{\pm}4.67$ ppb in Chunggye-Nowon tunnel with a single track, $42.55{\pm}3.33$ ppb in Mokkol-Taenung tunnel with double track, respectively, and as a result of t-test, a single track levels were higher than double track levels(p<0.05). The mean personal exposure of the subject of station workers was $29.40{\pm}9.75$ ppb.

기능에서 상징으로: 평양역사 건설, 1907-1958 (From the Functional to the Monumental: The Construction of the Pyongyang Station, 1907-1958)

  • Construction of the Pyongyang Railroad Station began in 1907 as an important foothold for the Japanese colonization of the Korean Peninsula and the further invasion of Manchuria. As Pyongyang gradually grew in size and political significance, the Pyongyang Station came to have two responsibilities: Fulfill its functional role and serve as a monument to the growing dignity of the city. This study argues that the Pyongyang Station, newly rebuilt in 1958, was the first building to solve the demands for both functional expansion and the pursuit of monumentality. Stylistically, the original single-story wooden building became a three-story classical masonry building. The stylistic change symbolizes the political shift by which the building was reconstructed. The simple wooden building built by the Japanese, representing Pyongyang's status as a colonial provincial town, was transformed into an imposing gateway for the capital city of a newly born socialist state. Socialist Realism, correctly described by its slogan "socialist in content and national in form," harmoniously blended classical architecture, socialist symbols, and Korean local motifs. This study is significant in that it illustrates the historical changes and continuity of the Pyongyang Station from 1907, when it was first built, through the "liberated space" to the postwar reconstruction period of the 1950s.

Earthquake risk assessment of underground railway station by fragility analysis based on numerical simulation

  • Korean society experienced successive earthquakes exceeding 5.0 magnitude in the past three years resulting in an increasing concern about earthquake stability of urban infrastructures. This study focuses on the significant aspects of earthquake risk assessment for the cut-and-cover underground railway station based on two-dimensional dynamic numerical analysis. Presented are features from a case study performed for the railway station in Seoul, South Korea. The PLAXIS2D was employed for numerical simulation and input of the earthquake ground motion was chosen from Pohang earthquake records (M5.4). The paper shows key aspects of earthquake risk for soil-structure system varying important parameters including embedded depth, supported ground information, and applied seismicity level, and then draws several meaningful conclusions from the analysis results such as seismic risk assessment.
